Sergeant JJ I won't lie... It has been slightly modified because I couldn't find the original one in my email (the only place that I save my stuff). Here is the remake of it:  It's very cool, exotic. No wonder you want that purple body dye. That loincloth looks kinda familiar. lol How did you make the stripes all over the body? Is it a tattoo?

Harvey_Kinkle It's very cool, exotic. No wonder you want that purple body dye. That loincloth looks kinda familiar. lol How did you make the stripes all over the body? Is it a tattoo? It IS a tattoo. I fell in love with the stripes and the purple body dye back in the day. The stripes kind of remind me of a tiger (which I feel to be tied with the panther for most majestic creatures). Purple has been my favorite color for most of my life... I just kind of told people that my favorite color was black because black is a more masculine color.

You inspired me to try brown stripes for my current avi, instead of the "alien" tattoo. Ah so the tiger is your "power animal." Purple is traditionally the color of royalty. It also traditionally represents the highest level of spirituality. Anyone who would put you down for it being your favorite color is ignorant.

Actually, based on the stuff that I read on a website about power animals I have found that the black panther is more along the lines of my power animal. When it comes to the wisdom they both kind of line up, but more so with the panther. Black panther's wisdomTiger's wisdomI think that I may love the color purple because of the fact that it represents nobility, passion, and love to me. (I realize that red is supposed to be the color of love and passion, but it seems to be more of the color of anger and frustration in my eyes.)

The info on animal spirits is so interesting. Thanks for the link Sarge. I'll be reading a lot more on that site.
But for now my eyes are on the tv watching the US figure skating championships. What amazing athletes. The tv makes the rink look smaller than it is. I know this because I went to see some Olympics skaters when they came to Greensboro a while ago. I was amazed at how fast the skaters skate. The tv doesn't show the speed for some reason.
What a difficult living arrangement you have. How nosy are the people you live with? Could you disguise your books? In grade school I'd hide my comic books inside my school books. I never got caught. When I had roommates I'd put a neutral book cover over some books. My tarot book is still covered from that time. Too bad some people are so judgmental.

Oh yeah... I am a part of a very strict family. My counselor has told me to do certain things that when I talked to my dad about it my dad kind of told me that he didn't want to hear about it. I have talked to my dad about how accepting I am about other people's lifestyles, and he told me that he didn't want to talk about it. I told my dad some pretty interesting things about myself, and he told me that he told me to shut up. My dad is pretty judgmental and follows his beliefs to a T. If anything doesn't line up with his beliefs then he doesn't want to hear about it and he doesn't want it in his house. My brothers aren't any better... and my sister is closed-minded, as well. (Honestly, I have no idea where I managed to get my open-mindedness from.)
