Just because I look like him, do not associate me with him. I do not behave like him, nor do I hold any of his values.AISHE & VIOLLCAIf you're wanting to talk peace, love, and happiness...go talk to my sister. From what I hear, I apparently inherited the personality of my father."We won't be leaving unless something big happens elsewhere." Aishe replied simply. // meh, writers block. //

ENTER from MIDTOWN HIGH SCHOOL
Gold Star burst about the city in a very nightcrawler fashion. Minus the smoke and smell of course. Her face hidden in her black hood and bandanna...her cape swirling about as she teleported quickly and repeatedly, and her gold armor flashing as the sun hit it and vanished.
She was frantic. The people she was supposed to have kept safe were missing. She had no idea what happened, where they were, anything! Spider-Man was going to be pissed at her for sure. Hadn't been doing the super hero-y shtick for more than a week and she'd already screwed up majorly.
They...they couldn't be too far though, right? What was it? Commie bots? Those shouldn't be hard to miss, right?
Crap.

Days have passed since the end of the Russian invasion, and Skuld needed to go 'back to work'. The mage thief looked through her list from Kaine, and picked a high priced target in an area heavy damaged by the communists.... Gotham. Skuld stepped into an alley and cast an invisiblity spell. Then, she levitated and flew out of New York toward Gotham. [Exit Skuld to Gotham City]

{Enter Black Cat from the Sanctum Sanctorum}
Cat finally released Reaper's wrist when they left the building, apparently just as unconscious of doing it as she had been of grabbing it in the first place. "You know," she said thoughtfully, staring up at the New York City skyline. It was dark, like twilight, but it was hard to tell what time it actually was; time seemed to be as mixed up as the physical world in some places. For example, it had been night in Gotham since she'd arrived. Nonstop. No sunrise whatsoever. "Robbing a jewelry store actually sounds pretty boring. It's not difficult enough. Infiltration is only fun when it's a challenge, you know?" Frowning, she tried to think of something else to do, but was coming up completely blank. How incredibly stupid; she'd been so eager to go out, and now she couldn't think of anything to do that actually sounded interesting.

ENTER Reaper from Sanctum Sanctorum
Reaper thought for a moment, curling a finger under his lip. "Well...there's a building owned by a...Fisk? It might have upped security." he replied finally. After another brief pause, a smile curled around the corner of his mouth. "Or...I might be able to create a few extra obstacles in a typical jewelry store. Just to make it a little harder."

She made a face at him. "Obstacles for obstacles' sake. Uh huh." Her expression turned speculative. She hadn't paid a visit to Fisk in a while, come to think of it, and he really was fun to annoy... "Fisk it is, then."
"Now, to make this harder, we're going to set some rules. Whoever steals the coolest thing in the least amount of time wins. You can't use any powers that you stole from other people, and I can only use my own ablities--which means no webshooters, and none of the handy little gadgets I happen to borrow from Stark Industries. If one of us gets caught, that person automatically loses." She quirked a pale eyebrow at him. "Sound good?"

Reaper thought for a moment. Can't use any stolen powers, eh? That would leave him with....traveling by fire, his skeletal form, his scythe, and the inability to die. And he couldn't get caught? Hmn.
"Sounds fun." he replied, a small grin wrapped around his face. "Anything on getting my hands dirty to keep myself from getting caught?"

"No killing. You're completely free to beat the ever loving crap out of people, though," she added, a matching grin flickering across her own face.

"Very well. Dirty, but not bloody." Reaper replied. "I'll see what I can do about that." The shadowed areas of the concrete around Reaper moved and looped around both him and Cat. "So, how would you like to get there? Quickly? Or enjoy the scenery from the rooftops?"

She glanced at him, curious. Scenery? She personally loved the feeling of the night air on her face, and was no hurry to get anywhere in particular... "New York scenery is beautiful," she admitted after a moment of thought. Especially from on top of one of the skyscrapers, she added silently. "But I don't want to bore you with something like that if you'd prefer to get straight to the action. You've been cooped up for longer than I have," she continued.

"Not at all." he replied, the shadow around them returning back to it's natural form. "Just being able to stretch my legs and get some fresh air is a world of difference compared to being inside." Really, he hated being stuck inside. Especially for days on end. Being out and about was going to work wonders for his mood. And...he really wasn't sure why...but he wanted to make her happy. He was all for doing this however she wanted to.

She studied his face for a brief moment, apparently trying to read his expression, and then a very slight, very warm little smile appeared on her face. The next moment, though, it had become a grin of challenge. "Okay, then; try to keep up!" With that, she was some thirty to thirty five feet in the air, and swinging off in the direction of Fisk Towers.

Reaper watched her leap up and grinned ear to ear. His initial reaction was to rely on his Blood form to carry him across the buildings. But....after that incident earlier, he didn't want Cat to find out that thing was really him. If she didn't already know that was.
...Eh. He'd tire out his use of Shadow travel until they got there. Run and jump what he could, teleport what he couldn't.
His old, dark fire wrapped around his body and quickly died out, leaving nothing but the pavement. On a rooftop a few buildings down, he stepped out of the shadow of a doorway and began making his way across the buildings.

Seeing that he was keeping pace with her rather easily, Cat grinned and sped up. This was really, really fun. Her heart was racing, the night air was cool and as fresh as New York air could be... perfect. Still smiling, she continued her swift, graceful progress through the skyscrapers, occasionally glancing around to check on her companion's progress.
