Muirghiel Aileeya, we have to educate the young'uns. We can't send them out into the world like this! IF we 'send them out into the world' they should indeed be thoroughly forwarned, and much more thoroughly well armed. I prefer knives myself...you? Self Defense HAS to be one of the MOST important subjects....don't you think?

Knives and daggers are usually my form of protection... if that's not possible at the time, or there isn't one close enough, I'm also skilled in material arts.

Lord Arionis *hangs head* You speak of the darker side of it, the one used by scum and lowlifes to say everything was "consensual". That's not what the form I teach is meant for. The form I teach, you stop once you've done enough to tease, and that's it. Gently lifts chin and then folds hands in front of self....I mean you no disrespect, nor wish you any guilt...I only mean to convey what mothers have cautioned for millinia--you're playing with fire....those of us blessed with wonderful libido's know of what we speak--fondly...lovingly--certainly.

I don't worry about myself alone in cities, I usually pack around a fairly good sized knife, anyway. -hums soothingly to herself-

My blows aren't really what's harmful -- it's my ability to dodge, then strike -- continuing this in an effective, repeating cycle. I usually strike with kicks rather then fists. I'm afraid I still have a lot to learn in that category. I usually spin behind an opponent and attack from behind. Although one of my favorite moves to this day is waiting for the opponent to come at me with their fists or feet. Then I grab either/or, and twist it, either resulting in the opponent on the ground, or them in an armlock for a few moments. Then again, that can always back-fire if the person you're fighting with knows what you're planning before you do it. I still have quite a lot to learn.
