"Those scientists are whinier than the scientists back in R. HQ." he muttered before he'd realized what he'd said. He tried to hide his fear at her possibly understanding what he'd meant. Oh gods. He let his head fall into his hands. 'Wanna say anything else incriminating, buddy?' his mind snapped.

Piney had taken longer than normal to recover from the confusion, and she wandered back into camp with some leaves and dirt clinging to her outfit.
Judging from the way everyone's sprawling out, it looked like they were going to stay here for the night. Stupid Girafarigs and their tendency to smash wagons...
Overhearing someone remarking about having a psychic Pokemon, Piney rubbed the back of her head and glanced down at Daybreak. "Eh, I guess I should've been here then?"

"You are going to KILL yourself and I am not going to feel the least bit sorry for you!"
Groaning, Liam followed the rocket over to the Tauros, watching him mount it with the most unamused expression he could muster, his arms folded across his chest. "You could try actually using less physical tactics, you know." He said, quirking an eyebrow, "You know, like trying to win it over instead of trying to jump on it?"

Meeka followed over to the wagon and settled herself in. Ebba took a seat by her while Heila took a seat on her. "You guys are too much." she giggled as she petted both of them.

Blinking as she caught what he said, she smiled and continued to snuggle him. "Well... any one can be whiny, depending on certain situations. Scientists especially, when they're out of their elements or things are not going their way. They are so self absorbed considering the great feats they've accomplished that they've stopped caring about those "lesser" then they. Nothing that can be done." If she had pieced together what he'd meant, she showed no sign of it.

Face still buried in his hands, he'd been expecting a hit or a scream. Anything that would have had others running to them and the accusations to start. It had been a bad choice on his part and the last thing he wanted was for it to come back and haunt him here. After a bit, he raised his head, surprised nothing had changed from his utterance of such an incriminating piece of evidence against him. Gathering his courage, he glanced over his shoulder at her, still wary of such events taking place.

"I'm sleeping in the wagon," she muttered under her breath, having no desire to sleep out in the open. Tossing her sleeping bag over the wagon, she looked around, noticing familiar faces within the trainers.
"Mingling time," she whispered softly to herself.

Cassadaine had remained near the tauros she'd chosen as the one she was going to ride along with Lamen in the morning. And right now she was happy she had stayed around the area. Snickering softly as seh watched Ridley attempt to ride the tauros and fail she shook her head and held out her hand to "her" tauros clucking her tongue softly.
Once she was sure the pokemon wouldn't spook the others, she led it over to one of the large remains of wagon three. Stepping up onto the make shift riding block, Cassadaine eased herself onto the tauros' back talking to the pokemon softly as she lowered herself onto it.
Patting the tauros' neck she settled herself. It would be a bumpy ride if she knew anything about tauros but at least she could learn to not get bucked off. Nudging the bull forward she angled it over to where Ridley and Liam where. "Having tauros troubles?"

She kissed his cheek, "Something wrong, handsome?" He was acting a bit odd, or at least had been, and it had her a bit worried.

FerretPrinceMule Normally, Alastair would have offered some advice, but… well, he was bored and this was amusing. Besides, it wasn’t likely that Ridley would get too injured. Still. Eventually, Alastair’s natural inclination to give people advice that they never asked for surfaced.
“Well, when you need any advice, I’ll be around here somewhere.”
Heeey… if they were cleaning out the inside of the trailer, Alastair figured, that meant they’d be going in and out all the time. That, in turn, meant that a trainer---innocent in every way, of course---could just happen to walk by and accidentally take a look inside the trailer. With all that arguing going on inside, there had to be something good. Something important had been knocked around, and Alastair was just the curious b*****d for that job. Very casually, he pushed himself away from the wagon and started to saunter closer to the trailer, wondering if he could accidentally overhear what they were yelling about. ((*torments the scientists and gives them lame names* 8D ))
"JOE! WATCH WHERE YOU WAVE THAT BROOM AROUND!"
"It's not my fault that YOU'RE in my way BOB!"
"SHUT UP BOTH OF YOU AND SOMEONE START PICKING UP THE BOOKS!"
"Has anyone seen where the coffee machine went?"
"I think it got smashed..."
"WHAT?"
It seems the scientists aren't shouting anything of interest...yet. Who knows. Maybe they'll slip a hint of something later on, but for today, they seem to be busy panicing over the trailer and their broken coffee machine.

"Thanks Alastair," Ridley said gratefully, letting go of the wagon and tapping the Tauros lightly with his heels. He tried not to cling too hard when it started to move, rumbling. The ride was a little jerky... but not as bad as the wagons, in his opinion.
"I will not!" Ridley pouted at Liam. "Look, he's being good now. He couldn't resist my charm," the Rocket fluttered his lashes. The Tauros snorted.
Glancing at Cass as she came over, he shrugged. "Umm.. well, I've never ridden before," he admitted sheepishly.

Fine, universe. Be that way! Alastair pouted, vaguely annoyed that nothing interesting was happening inside the trailer. Still, he would stick around anyway, in the hopes that they might let something slip. You never know! Maybe there was something more interesting than a broken coffee machine. He sat down by the trailer and simply listened for a time, thinking how lucky the scientists were if a broken coffee machine was their biggest problem.
… Hey! Piney was up! Alastair vaguely remembered her from Inhinx, but mostly that she had an espeon. That was a psychic type. He waved vaguely at her, saying, “It doesn’t really matter any more. See, I was thinking that we could have a psychic pokémon ask the girafarigs where we are… but, I guess Luna already has a pretty good idea where we are. Or someone does, anyway.” He rubbed his arms a little, looking at the forest a bit apprehensively. The ‘Howling Woods’ was a most auspicious name. Still, at least they had a few large pokémon for protection.
Con was still busy fussing over Ryou, so he’d be useless for a while, but there were others. Rylee and Lum… they were both in the wagon, with Rylee happily smearing a piece of paper with berry juice, drawing all sorts of squiggly lines. Nothing made the cubone happier than a bunch of colors. Actually, by now, he was probably redecorating the inside of the wagon too.

Nudging the bull forward she angled it over to where Ridley and Liam where. "Having tauros troubles?" Liam looked over at Cassadaine briefly, shaking his head and rolling his eyes, jerking his thumb towards Ridley. "Me? Hardly. This idiot, however, thinks that riding consists of pulling on it's horns and jumping on it's back." He replied, his voice slightly flat. The poor Tauros... but Liam would not help Ridley when he was not willing to be helped. And the boy seemed set on conquering the bull pokemon.
"What charm?" He called back when he heard Ridley speak up, grinning back at him.

(( Sorry about slow-ness, mum called me away. D; Brb, lunch too. )) Akjfndjfn!! her mind went in an excited splurg.
"That....is so cool!" Riza, evidentially, admired Kai greatly now, "And you actually rode Pokemon?! Amazing!"
Her grin widened as Kai told her about the last caravan, and showed her Isamu, "Oh my! He does looks strong! And he's gorgeous! Oh wow, oh wow, oh wow!"
She would have tried to pet him, but it didn't look like he wanted to be touched, so instead she just admired him, clearly impressed, both by the Absol and Kai's training abilities.
"Was he hard to train? Though you don't look like you might've had much trouble with him," she asked as calmly as she could, though failing to hide her enthusiasm.
She saw Bug in the corner of her eye and waved to the trainer to see if she was busy or not, certain Bug would also be impressed and in awe at Kai.
Well, at least Riza thought everyone should be.
