Chubbs blinked, then giggled and looked at the sand as he blushed like crazy, she had to be joking but boy did that make him blush. He rubbed the back of his neck, and tried to avoid the comment, only to not start saying something else he shouldn't.
" I er... well.. you probably do that to most guys... anyway umm.. feeling?... it's well... kinda half and half lately"

Madison dipped her pawed foot into the ocean surf. It was alot warmer now.
"I feel that way too. I haven't talked to many other islanders so I wonder what they could be feeling as well. Anyways, do you want to join me for a swim?" she grinned.

Chubbs blinked and looked out at the ocena. He hadn't been out there in a while, something about getting sand in his crotch didn't appeal. Looking down at his clothes, he considered it and then nodded.
" Ah sure, alright umm... just give me a moment"
With that he took off his cap and emptied the contents of his pocket into it. Then carefully his pulled his shirt off over his head, it had been hard to get dressed lately with the claws. Tossing it beside his cap, he walked to the water and slowly made his way in.

Madison smirked at his uneasyness. She thought he looked adorable and bit her cheeks to prevent breaking out into giggles.
She usually adored to swim but suddenly she felt panicky about getting into the water further. This feeling had her frightened.
"I don't know what's wrong with me but I just suddenly feel like staying dry for some reason."
((ya i read that foxes don't like to swim)

Chubbs waddled out into the waves and tried not to get splashed immediately. sinking in past the rolling water, he turned back and blinked now at Madison chickening out. Had this been some ploy of hers to get him out here or something?
" No chickening out now!"
He smirked and swatted an in coming wave and sent a splash of water flying in her general direction.

"Squeeeeee!" she yelped as Chubbs sprayed her with water. It sure felt good on her body and all her scared tendencies were soon erased. Madison got into the water to swim out a few meters and then dived in. The salt water itched at her eyeballs but she could make out Chubb's legs.
She started to swim toward him..preparing to grab as revenge.

Chubbs laughed at Madison's high pitched out burst, he sure found it amusing and cute. Watching her dive in, he made his way into the water more until it was up to his stomach. He watched his fure dangle in the water and was amused at how he looked like some seaweed monster, ready to catch people in his tendrils.

She was just about there to grab him when her lungs needed some air. Sticking her head above the water, Madison rubbed her eyes and blinked several times.
She took a very deep breath before kicking up some water in Chubb's face. Some brightly colored fish swam around them and lit up the water like fireworks.

Chubbs chuckled and shook like a dog as he got a face full of salty sea water. He didn't notice Madison swim up on him like that. Foxes he guessed where cunning where ever they were.
Blinking the salty water out, he looked as her sink under the water and noticed the fish around them. Chubbs watched them closely and started pawing at the water. Staring for a little while, he suddenly sunk his face into the water and shook his face around. It was a moment later he came up with a fish in his mouth.

Madison's mouth salivated as she looked at the fish in Chubb's mouth. She hoped she could be as quick as he to catch one. She bent down into the water and snapped at a school of fish.. it was no use. They swam away as fast as lightning.
Her head popped out of the water and she smoothed back her hair and chest fur. "I couldn't get one. XD "

Chubbs smiled and took the fish from his mouth and held it in his hand, he deffinately chomped it dead. Figuring he could do it again, he dangled the fish out to Madison, it gave him an excuse to snatch another one. It felt kind of exhilerating to hunt them.
" Awww don't feel bad, here, have this one, my treat"

A smile crossed her lips. "Thanks Chubbs. You are quite the gentleman"
She reached out to his paw to pluck away the trembling fish and laid it in her palm. The fish quivered a little with its gills fluxating in and out in search for water. Madison began to feel sorry for this creature but on another hand, she really wanted to eat it. It was hard to decide but the fish would be dead in a matter of m inutes if she didn't think fast.
Finally, the fish squirmed out to freedom of her padded hand through the opening in her poseable thumb. "Dangit! Well at least this fish will enjoy it's life and no longer be a prisoner" she snickered.

Chubbs rubbed the back of his head awkwardly in an embaressed fashion, he was never going to get use to compliments. Seeing the other fish go, he was a little disappointed and surprised it still was alive. Chubbs then looked in the water and it wasn't a second before his head went under again. A few seconds later his head popped back out with another fish. He didn't like the idea of eating live fish, but the animals in him made him bite the fish in half and chew on it. Grabbing the tail end, he held that half out to Madison.

The fish was no longer alive but Mad was so hungry. She graciously accepted it from Chubbs and gulped it down in one bite. It was a small fish and tasted like sushi. Interestingly, she hated it when she lived in New York. Raw food was good now!
She wanted alot more fish.. but not these tiny tidbits. "Do you know where big fish swims?"
