Minronu's creepy voice is what woke Naomi up, she studied her situation, aimed a minor chakera wave at Akiyama's feet and, all while pretending to be knocked out, tripped akiyama.
Akiyama had twisted his Ankel, Naomi had come out of it fine, she held a kunai to his throat, "i really should kill you." she hissed throught clenched teeth.

Shikamaru caught up and saw Naomi holding the kunai to Akiyama's throat and he said while walking next to Naomi "so are you going to kill him or spare him?"

"yes Naomi? are you gonna kill me? Why not? you have a new, better father. i killed your beloved mother. I'm trying to kill you. Killing is in your blood." Akiyama said, Naomi backed off a bit, she didn't know what to do.

Shikamaru sighed when he saw Naomi hessitating (however its spelled...) and said "you do what you feel's right Naomi. ill support you either way."

"whatever's right to you naomi, what is right to you? you know you want me dead. but do you think you ahould be the one to kill me?" Akiyama asked, "i know you've killed before, you wouldn't have that ANBU mask if you haven't." Akiyama said, almost teasing.
Naomi almost started to cry, she looked over to Shikamaru, trying to ask for help, no words were comming out.

Shikamaru walked over and hit Akiyama in the head to quiet him then he looked back at Naomi and said before giving her a kiss to try and calm her down "im guessing you want to spare him? and if you really do want him dead but you cant do it i guess ill do it."

"I have been dreaming about this day, ever since i left the hell hole i called home, Why can't i do it? it should be easy." Naomi said, tears falling freely, she looked at Shikamaru, "i have to do this myself." she stepped up, Akiyama stayed on the ground, she took the Lava blade out of his hand.
"i'm sorry." she told Akiyama
"no need to be sorry, sweetie, people die all the time." Akiyama said coldly, Naomi shut her eyes tight, she stabbed him in the heart.
Naomi backed away then fell to the ground.

he caught Naomi and eased her to the ground slowly and held her gently trying to help her calm down after what she just did.

"i-i-i didn't t-t-think it would be s-s-so easy." Naomi whispered, everything was moving so fast, "what do i do now?" Naomi never did hate her father, she just felt that her mother needed to be avenged, but afterwards, she didn't feel it was nessisary.
"i can't do this anymore." she said, un tieing the headband Mitzu had given her, placing on the ground.
"its not worth it." she said as she started crying, "were 15, mere children! what will we gain from killing for money? Its not fair!" Naomi said, everything was spinning, "i don't want this life anymore, being a black op, its not worth the blood on my hands!!!" Naomi screamed, throwing the headband as far from her as possible, "how is it fair? if one person pays enough we'll assasinate the man of his choice? It isn't right!!" Naomi screamed.

he sighed then hugged her tightly and stroked her hair and said softly "calm down Naomi. you dont need to cry."

"what are you talking about? i just killed my father!" Naomi yelled, she took in a breath, "lets go, back to the village." she told shikamaru, she removed herself from shikamaru's grasp and looked for her headband, she found it and pocketed it, she also picked up the Lava blade, kneeling down besides the corpse she whispered to it, "i'm sorry, i really am."

"yes you just killed your dad but he was an evil man. and were shinobi we need to be able to deal with death even if it is someone we love." Shikamaru said as he stood next to Naomi.

"i'm fifteen, i'm not a prodigy, i'm not that smart, i have hardly any skill, i just got lucky, i should be taking the chuunin exams by now, not running around with adults hunting rouge nin. I guess it doesn't matter. s**t happens its life." Naomi stated, she got up and turned around, "have you ever killed anyone?" she asked Shikamaru.

"a few? i killed one person and they gave me a stupid promotion, i just wanted to be a med-nin like my mother, but they stuck me with that stupid mask, thinking its what i wanted." Naomi explained, "i almost hated Tsunade for it." sh added, she started walking towards the village, expecting Shikamaru to follow, "we've lost our group." she noticed
