Question! Is there any other groups besides the normal Pokemon related groups we all know that might exist in this rp world? Because I want to introduce one, but if it is similar to one already invented I won't make it.

Hexdecimal Question! Is there any other groups besides the normal Pokemon related groups we all know that might exist in this rp world? Because I want to introduce one, but if it is similar to one already invented I won't make it. I think there are enough groups out there already, but I'd be willing to hear your idea before ruling it out completely. :3

Well I wanted a group that started as a bunch of kids stealing pokemon from abusive or evil trainers. Starting on Team Rocket, they moved from place to place stealing 'wronged' pokemon and setting them free to live right.

Just tossing out a reminder about Twitter for those who have 'em!
For those who don't, you can tweet for your characters if you want to.
KasiyaDeLuca is mine, and from there you should be able to find all the other TTR members with twitter accounts too!

Hey, Air knows, since I mentioned it in my joining message many months ago, but I finally got out of beta testing for a new role playing system I invented called the Perc System, short for Percentage System. I modified it into a pokemon rpg. If anyone wants to use it, then I can send you some information via emails. If anyone wants to play in it as me being Game Master, I can schedule that easily. We could play over Skype.

I just have to ask, because I have such trouble with it sometimes, how do you guys come up with your nicknames? A lot of them are really cool and I'm really jealous.

I go with what makes sense for the character. Mike's mom is a scientist/inventor so a lot of Mike's names are element names or tweaked species or familial names.
Sasha I have less of a rubric for, she likes food and silly cute names.

Hitofuki Arashi I just have to ask, because I have such trouble with it sometimes, how do you guys come up with your nicknames? A lot of them are really cool and I'm really jealous. Umm, I think of all the names I've heard in my life and I go the total opposite way. IRL my name is so plain and common so whenever I make any character I always give them a unique name you probably will not see anyone named.

Hitofuki Arashi I just have to ask, because I have such trouble with it sometimes, how do you guys come up with your nicknames? A lot of them are really cool and I'm really jealous. Riza's Sneasel, Akima, is named from Drew Barrymore's character on Titan AE. I love that movie so much and I adore Drew Barrymore as well.
Yula, Diemia, Plua, Faustus and Nell are characters (or the effective summons) from one of my favourite PS2 games of all time, Atelier Iris 3: Grand Phantasm.
Eris is named after the goddess of discord, though that aspect of her personality won't really develop until she evolves into a Typhlosion.
Noa is the female character from Legend of Legaia. Her Ra-Seru was of the wind element and I thought it suited a flying-type.
Genki is named after the main character from the Monster Rancher anime series. He's energetic and spunky and his name literally meant 'energy'. I think, anyway.
Seraphim was a spur of the moment name. No real story there.
Kord is one of the deities in D&D - the god of strength and challenges and whatnot. I thought it'd suit an eventual-Electivire, though it can be misinterpreted as a play on the word 'cord' (kinda like Cable. Lololol)
I thought Miles was pretty self-explanatory. Two-tailed Buizel reminds me of a two-tailed fox from a very popular Sega series. ;3

All of Jason's pokemon are from Greek mythology. Cernu's pokemon aren't nicknamed yet but soon they will be, and their names will come from either Norse mythology or Egyptian mythology. I try to choose names that fit the personalities or particular attributes and characteristics of that pokemon. For example Magnemite is Zeus because Magnezone has the highest special attack amongst electric types and therefore it's Thunderbolts are supreme over all others. Carlos on the other hand doesn't fit my mythology trend, his pokemon are named after people from my old communities choir as all his pokemon are musically inclined in one way or another.
