It's a sixteen hour drive, with a stop over at a hotel, just to come get me. It's another 16 hours back. I tihnk there is a tain somewhere...I just don't know where.

if 1d20 +20 + 5 + 4 + 2 + 1 -2 = >10, the peasent is hit. >18 if the peasent is wearing fullplatemail, >23 if wearing +5 platemail.
The magic missile does 1d4+1 damage per missile, and the spell gains one missile ever two level hereafter, to a maximum of five missiles at level nine. thus, 5d4+5 damage to target, no attack roll necessary. Magic Shield stops magic missiles.
Cure light wound cures 1d8+(1/level) to a maximum of +5.
The inverse square of the root of 2 is not equal to 3.

Lightning bolt used to be used to draw geometric shaps, but a change in the wording ended that.
2nd ed. Wizards needed to know calculas to know how large their fireball would appear in an oddly shapped room. The thing occupired a total of thrity square feet, so if the hall way was five feet wide, it would go... I can't think about it.
Yes, those items are out.
