Tomokazu-kun "Sorry." Baizou said, scratching the back of his head. "Do you know what the temperature of the inn is? It seems hotter than usual." Sapphire shakes her head. "No, I don't know. I feel just fine." Sapphire says continuing to pace. Her mind was reeling.

Baizou waved to Richard and shrugged, "Then it must be me..." He said, scratching his forehead absently. He froze, feeling something wet touch his fingertips. Was he bleeding. He pulled his hand down to look at it. It was clear and warm. "There is... water on my forehead." He murmured, perplexed.

Lady Crystal comes downstairs, dressed semi-casually in a blouse and skirt. "Richard," she said exuberantly, rushing over and hugging the man before pulling back and to his eyes only blushing quite a bit. "How are you?"she asked, smoothing her skirt.

"It's called sweat. When you get to warm people sweat." Sapphire says sighing. "I need to go for a ride." She says heading out of the door to the shed.

Richard smiled kindly at Baizou. "That would be sweat lad. Your body wishes to cool itself down." THen he turned at the sound of his name, and was hugged sudden enough to surprise even him. "La- I mean, Crystal." He started, then stopped. His frost eyes blinked once, then again. "I'm quite fine. I've been working, and a bit of traveling, but fine. You?"

"Sweat?" Baizou wondered, beginning to beat quickly. "But mi--- But Sapphire, I cannot sw--" But she was out the door before he could finish. He sighed, trying to keep himself from shaking. What was wrong with him?

Richard's attention was torn between the two of them, his curiousity not allowing him to focus entirely on the Lady Crystal, lovely as she was. "Then...if not, how do you cool off? Are you alright lad? Sick perhaps?" He asked, a tad concerned.

"I am well," Lady Crystal said. "I have missed you," she said softly, taking a seat nearby. "How has your work gone?" she asked, her flushed cheeks returning to their normal color.

"I stay in the shade or air conditioning or fan myself to keep cool." Baizou murmured, sitting on the bottom step to hold his head, "I do not know if I am all right."

((Hmm...)) "Anyway I can assist?" He asked, then heard Crystal speak. ((Poor Bai....*pats*)) Richard's curiousity ended adruptly for the first time in his memory, frost eyes flashing to her instantly. Miss him? A lovely little thing like her? Him? Richard's surprise was obvious, then the scholar closed his mouth, straightened his tie while looking off, then finally trusted himself to speak. "It has gone okay...I met several interesting folk of the same race, dark elves as they are called. Drow. I did...I did think of you often..." He admitted slowly, as if weighing his words and actions carefully. This was dangerous and unknown territory he was treading now, one he had little experience in. Not to mention, he was not really part of his house anymore...and as far as he knew, she was still one of her land.

Richard nodded at Bai's statement, but didn't look at him. His frost grey eyes seemed to be studying Crystal for a moment, both wary and thoughtful. Then the look was replaced with his usual excitement about his research, and he smiled. "Ah yes! The drow. Though according to the three I spoke with, they warned me not to trust any others of their kind. I am not sure what to make on that entirely...They live below ground, and shun 'surface dwellers'. I intend to travel there...hopefully, today. I spent this morning preparing." He beamed. "Should be very interesting."
