Jordyn nodded and smirked, "I'm Jordyn and, well, yes. Yes, they have." He changed his smirk into a full on grin and brushed some of his hair out of his eyes. That was disgusting of me... I'll apologise if he takes any offense, I guess.

Liam averted his gaze as he caught Jordyn's grin. He was still entirely too confused over his emotions to look an attractive person in the face while they grinned - it wouldn't end well and he didn't want that.
It's good to know I'm not the only one who makes things disappear around here...he said, a nervous laugh escaping him. He bit his lip and looked to the side, sighing some before looking back to Jordyn. Do you do magic or something?

Interesting...Liam managed to say. He thought he'd amuse himself some with the stranger, with hopes of lifting his spirits. My mother is half god half water nymph...my father is a god. he said after a long moment, shifting to rest his chin on his hands, his elbows propped up.

Jordyn raised an eyebrow and sat up some. "Really? Or are you just messing with me?" Suddenly thirsty Jordyn asked for some water in a pitcher and two glasses to accompany the table. Offering the second glass to Liam and pouring himself some water he stared into his glass in question of this strange boy.

Liam said nothing as the glass of water turned into a martini. He tried his best to remain expressionless as the pitcher remained water and Jordyn's glass turned into a mudslide.

Jordyn set the glass down and burst out laughing, trying to see through his scrunched up eyes he turned his own glass into a tequila sunrise and Liam's into a mai-tai.

Liam smiled softly, glad Jordyn found it amusing. He smiled wider as Jordyn's completely disappeared and his own turned into a midori sour blended.

Jordyn frowned humerously and pouted at Liam, "That's no fair... Taking a mans alcohol." Blinking the Midori Sour over to his side of the table he controled his face as he turned it back into water and shifted his eyes to the glass of scotch floating next to his new acquaintence's ear.

Liam chuckled and nodded. True...that isn't really fair, is it? he said, leaning away from the glass the hovered next to him. But I suppose we're alright now? he asked, still amused, as the glass moved back to the table, returning to the water it had been.

"No, no it isn't." Nodding his head and taking off his cap he looked at Liam seriously. "Not to intrude, for just a second, but you seemed really troubled earlier. Wanna unbiased soul to talk to?" Laughing softly and sipping at his water Jordyn set his cap on the floor before continuing, "And maybe I'll tell you what I really am."

Liam stared at Jordyn for a moment before sighing and looking to the table. I suppose it wouldn't hurt. After another moment, a grin spread across his face. I can always just erase me from your memories should the time come where I have to...he mused.
He heaved a sigh after a long silence and looked to the figure across from him. I fear that after thousands of years of absolutely no contact with anyone who I might...fall in love with...I've fallen in love. With several. he sighed.

Jordyn smiled at the thought of someone 'erasing' his memories. "You can try, I'll allow you that." Scratching at his own nose he cocked his head slightly, "That's quite the predicament. Can't say as I've been there... but I can appreciate it all the same. What are ya gonna do?"

I...have no idea. Liam admitted. I've never been in this situation, let alone around mortals... he said with a sigh. There is one...who I've been trying so very hard to stay faithful to. She seems to understand that all this is still new... he said thoughtfully. Yet I can't help feeling that I'm not good enough for her...
Liam paused and gazed into the water, the faces of those he'd been speaking of appearing in the ripples caused by his finger tapping the glass as he held it. Lena, Ophelia, Mitsuru, tatsumi, Miyoko. There were probably others, but he seemed to focus on those ones. He sighed again and pushed the glass away, not wanting to think of them anymore at the moment.

"If you're trying to stay faithful to her, despite your feelings, and her being a mortal, maybe you're more deserving of her than you think?" Thinking about Merryn he looked down at his hands and smiled sadly. "There are many, many times I think I'm not good enough for my Angel but if I kept it up as a sort of mantra I'd never be as good for her as she is for me. I keep trying, and that's all I-you-we can do."
