Looks like I missed a ton while I was gone.
And it isn't me that is being ridiculed for my stupid humor!

Firstly, I wasn't blaming the guild for a lack of humor, it's just that [Sanity_is_for_the_Weak] seems to be the only other person in this thread that I have ever observed to use any humor, but his wasn't taken into account on most occassions.
Secondly, it can still be harassment if I respond, but only in self defence. You are attacking, so that is harassment or I could also say "Verbally abusive."
As for chatspeak: what the in God's name is an "lolcow?"

The second part was no "attempt" to stay on topic, it was what I would have typed anyways, but you seem to like taking pleasure out of humiliating others? All I ask is that you stop. I don't like being made fun of and by no means did I ask for it.
Also, I have nothing to say for the topic, this was solely for a response to you.
Now, either this ends or it goes to the chatterbox. Take your pick.

Nah.
Chatterbox isn't quite suited.

PMs are for personal messages. These messages seem pretty personal. Take it there chaps?

Nah, I got what I needed out of this. If he isnt going to admit to his mistake in here, then ending itll have to do. That and if he's so worried about defending himself he can always pm me himself.

And to you, Sanity is for....blah (I still think of YoMomma) times change. Thank Tzeentch I guess.

any new good stuff to report for strats?

Well I'm developing a stationary firing line that will feature a single line of units that will pummel anything that comes near. It might include a squad or two of crisis suits that will bait and lure enemies.

You're developing the stand and stood strategy for the Tau? wink

With my own twists, yes I am!
What is wrong with me adding onto a strategy?

I dont think thats what he means. He means that you said 'developing' as if you were making this strategy, when it is the norm for the Tau. Im assuming by 'develope' you mean youre just getting your own army geared for it, rather than saying youre somehow making some new strategy that involves sitting and shooting (at least Im hoping thats the case).

I know that was what he was saying, forming a line and holding isn't new to the Tau, but I'm adding onto that. Ill have quicker units perform pincer movements and other stuff.

I get what you are saying. You bait others into chasing you for a turn, then you open fire with hidden units and your main line. Basically, it's the process of elimination. Kill off a unit at a time and widdle down the initial force. There is a major flaw with that, though. Fast attack units, deep strike, and long distance units. Transports get close combat units into your lines before you can retaliate, distance shooters do the same thing that Tau do (kill things from afar rolleyes ), and anything that can appear behind your lines and wrap you up in close combat is your main downfall. If a single close combat unit gets through your line of fire and attacks, your plan is thwarted.
Got any other counters?

As for any recent games, I just played a Free for all 500pt with Space marines and Necrons as my opponents.
Yeah... It wasn't really free for all. They saw that I had 2 FW squads, transports, and some gundrones and attacked me. I kept telling them, "If you attack me now, who ever gets the most points from killing me wins. That's a pretty crappy way to win and so far, the Necrons win."
Neither of them listened, though. Necrons killed 3 squads (both FW squads and one Gundrone squad). I knew that I lost from the start when it became a 2v1. My transports were the only thing keeping me alive, but we ran out of turns and Necrons won. I looked at my friend, the SM player and said, "Should have listened to me. Next time, try not to associate large numbers as your biggest threat."
There was absolutely no fighting between them, so it was a waste of a game. rolleyes

Yeah I do have counters.
Broadsides should be able to take down transports right?
And crisis suits and stealth teams can move into the long range units.
