"Actually here for? What, do I not look like the smart studious type? Filled with the valiance to make my life better? " Shirune laughed slightly and fiddled with the straw in his drink. "Before you answer though, I want to ask.
How did you end up in the Academy?"

Melody laughed and said "Well, actually..I was an orphan back in my home town and that part was okay but some other stuff got in the way and..when I found out about the academy I was more than happy to come. Been one of the best decisios of my life" she said and nodded smiling.

Melody looked down and said "No, I never knew who my parents were. I was always an orphan, the people at the orphanage couldn't even tell me who my real parents were. Noone ever adopted me, so I just stayed there til I came here"

Shirune looked at Melody with concern, then smiled and finished his latte "Well, no more sulking on matters of the past. Life's going to be different now." Shirune looked at his empty cup with a faraway stare. "Its gonna be better...."

"The reason I came into the Academy?" Shirune looked outside longingly "The reason I came into the Academy was because I have no other way to go. When my mother died a car accident I lost everything dear to me. My house, my belongings, and my father. Shirune scowled and looked away bitterly "If he would only stop drinking and finally face reality maybe it wouldn't be so bad.."
