The second the shards of light left his Keyblade, she had created a dark shield that blocked the attack completely, and also partially hid her from view. The mouse had no choice but to drop back down to the ground and prepare himself for whatever could come next, and unfortunately he didn’t even have time for that. For the second his feet touched the floor, Rihakxi’s foot snapped out at him, catching him in his small chest and throwing him back. Of course, the King knew how to take a hit, flipping himself around in the air so that he’d end up landing on his feet and prevent any further damage. The swift blow had stung, though, and for a moment, he couldn’t find his breath. However, the Nobody’s arrogant and harsh words were enough to restore oxygen to his lungs and make him instantly recover from the assault.
”That’s a sad life ta live, don’t cha think?” His Majesty asked sincerely, even relaxing slightly and feeling pity for her. ”There’s so much more ta life than gettin’ power and hurtin’ other people. Nobodies, even beings of the darkness itself, don’t hafta be bad. I know a lotta good guys that come from all sorts of places. So why are you really doin’ this? What’s so bad about Hikari? Sure, she doesn’t have a Keyblade or anythin’ super powerful like that, but one’s real power is what’s inside of ‘em. And for that, Hikari’s got more power than you’d ever guess. So why do ya want her out of the way so bad?” He didn’t try to attack, which was probably stupid on his part, but he didn’t care. If he wanted to make a good point, he had to prove to her that fighting wasn’t the answer. So he couldn’t fight back, unless she tried to attack him again. He wasn’t going to let himself be killed or even hurt much more. But he wasn’t going to try and hurt her, either. There always had to be a way to make her see that there was another choice for her, which many Nobodies failed to see. He wanted her to find the better path, the one that would lead to a happy existence for her and her Other. ((Kinda lacking in action, but the Mickey monologue came out of nowhere and stopped me from doing much else. *laughs* ))

Crystal
Crystal felt something familiar about that mouse. She just couldn't put her finger on it. She had a feeling this might not end well. But she was afraid to interfer. She had to wait, if things get out of hand she'll try and help. But from that strength she would probably fail at anything. She couldn't help she was a weak Nobody but she did have her quickness from Skyler thank god.

  The Nobody watched as Mickey caught himself from her attack and regained his composure, followed by yet another one of his monologues. Why did this guy insist on preaching to her so much? She had no heartstrings for him to pull, no emotions for him to turn. She tightened her grip on her maces. She was starting to get tired and wasn't sure if she'd be able to keep up her dark magic much longer. Just holding back his last attack had taken a lot out of her, but she couldn't let show her weakness. Rihakxi had to destroy him before she became totally spent. "Shut up! A denizen of light like you can never understand! Darkness will always conquer light, and she doesn't deserve the power of Darkness or the brightness of Light! She will not take him away!" she yelled, rushing towards him, swinging her left mace at him which was caught in a lock with his keyblade as he went to defend against her attack. But she followed it through by thrusting her right mace forward, the tip of it going through his vest and pinned him to the wall. Before he could react, she grabbed him by the shoulders, forcing him to look at her. "Look into my eyes, Mickey," she said, her eyes beginning to glow. "The Light is your enemy. The ones whom you call friends are against you. Darkness is--!" she began, but was cut off by a sudden hit with a fireball. "Stay away from King Mickey!" Donald yelled, lifting his staff to cast a thunder spell. "Sorry we're late, Yer Majesty!" Goofy followed, running over to Mickey and gave him a Hi-Potion. "Better late than never, huh?" he asked, throwing his shield like a frisbee at Rihakxi. The Nobody was furious. With her hypnotism interrupted, she gripped her arm from the burn and barely managed to jump away to avoid the electric shock, but was hit and crashed to the floor when she was hit with the shield. As Goofy recovered his shield and held it up in defense, Donald joined him and Mickey and held his staff at the ready as Rihakxi got up, holding onto her side. "This is far from a victory, Mickey! Be warned! Two of your friends are nearly gone without one another; One has betrayed your cause and another will be lost before you reach them," she told him as a Dark Portal appeared behind her. "The Light can't protect you forever. Retribution will soon be served," she promised, stepping back and disappeared into the portal, closing up and allowed the natural light of the room to return. Donald and Goofy relaxed their stances when she left, looking back at their king. "Are you okay, King Mickey?" Goofy asked, lowering his shield. "What do you think she meant?" the court mage asked, hoping that she didn't mean what he thought she meant.

Crystal
Crystal watched the battle go on. She felt like she should help when the girl grabbed the mouse. She couldn't tell what was happening but she heard acouple of things. Crystal touched the hilt of her sword. She felt like she should step in and do something. Before she could do anything a firball hit the girll in the back. The black haired girl seemed a bit confused. Thats when she heard two voices. Still hiden, Crystal turned her head to see a duck and some kind off dog, maybe? Confused, she watched this "story", as she called it, unravel. When the girl left she notcied she might be a Nobody like herself. I want to know what they're talking about, but I might get caught she thought. Frustrated she leaned closer against the rocks. She felt them pile wobble and topple over making a loud crash. Crystal fell on her face," Owww...." she said sitting up.

 alone for awhile i've been searching in the darkfor traces of the love you've left inside my broken heartTo weave by picking up the pieces that remainMelodies of lifeLove's lost refrain{i was so sorely tempted to start in wonderland cuz i loooooove wonderland..... but i chose here..... even tho i have no idea what's going on so ill just post and people can give me advice on what to do next i guess.}
Cissnei walked awkwardly through the halls of the school; the school uniform with it's short skirt was extremely uncomfortable compared to the suit she was accustomed to wearing for the turks, but she knew better than to walk into a public facility like this wearing an official looking suit. She had no idea where she was or why she was here, so it was best not to make any sort of scene.
Of course, having Reno tagging along next to her, with is tie undone and his uniform ragged at best made it difficult not to stick out; she felt like some sort of gang member next to him. He was so unprofessional.
"What?" Reno quirked an eyebrow at Cissnei's glare, "I put on the dang thing like you told me to-" He tugged at the color of the shirt, "-not my fault it's as uncomfortable as hell. But hey! Relax, I'll just surround myself with some of the local girls and we'll look totally natural!"
"Yeah.... Totally..." Cissnei made a face. This was going to be a looooong day.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFrom the vacant and uncaring look in Rihakxi’s eyes, King Mickey knew that his words were falling on deaf ears. Of course, she was a Nobody, so technically she couldn’t care even if she wanted to, but there was still something inside of him that told him he had to try. He knew that somewhere, deep down, Hikari’s heart was still part of her Nobody, so the caring girl this enemy of his had come from had to come out of her someday. Unfortunately for the King, that day wasn’t today. However, it did seem that his words had affected her, even if they’d only made her angry. It was still a reaction, and that could mean that somewhere he was making progress. Or not, shown by the huge mace that came racing at the mouse just seconds after she’d finished shouting. Thinking quickly, he raised his Keyblade and blocked the blow, only to find that the other mace was now making a straight shot at his small body. He shifted as much as he could, but that seemed to be exactly what Rihakxi had wanted him to do, for the mace ripped into his vest and caught on the wall, trapping him against it.
Struggling as much as he could, King Mickey tried to break free of the girl’s grasp, but she was much stronger than he thought should be possible. He closed his eyes as he heard Rihakxi command him to look at her, but for whatever reason the sound of her voice made him obey. It wasn’t as if he had much choice either, as she’d pinned him against the wall and there was no where else to look. As soon as their eyes met, the mouse knew it was bad. He felt something creep into his mind, something more than just a suggestion. It was as if he was being controlled. Mind control…? he managed to think just before she started to work her magic, beginning to suggest that light was bad and darkness was…
Before she could complete the brainwashing, an all too familiar quack echoed through the halls and a fireball smashed into Rihakxi, waking the King from the spell. He gave his head a quick shake to get himself completely away from her brain games and pried the mace off of his jacket so he could break free.
”Donald! Goofy!” he cried happily, watching as his two best friends fought Rihakxi off. ”You fellas weren’t late! I’d say you were right on time!” he added to Goofy as he took the Hi-Potion he’d been offered. He quickly downed it and held the Keyblade at the ready, prepared to jump back into the fight and help his friends they way they’d helped him. However, the attacks from Donald and Goofy had seemed to hurt her pride more than anything, as she got up but didn’t attack. She warned them that this was not a victory, for their friends were suffering and turning on them. This worried the King more than her threat about the light not being able to protect them, but before he could ask any questions, she was gone.
”Gosh, that sounds bad!” King Mickey exclaimed, turning to his friends. Goofy quickly asked him if he was alright, and the mouse gave a firm nod of his head. ”Yep, I’m just fine! Thanks ta you two, of course!” Now it was Donald’s turn to speak up, asking if the King knew what she meant. He just sighed and looked away. ”Well, I’m not completely sure, but I have a good idea.” He paused and looked back up at them. ”First things first! We need ta make sure our pals are okay and get ‘em back ta the castle! There I can tell everyone everything they need ta know. You two need to split up and search as many worlds that you and Sora went to in your adventures. Bad guys can be mean, but they’re not gonna send our friends to places they’ve never been to. I just know it. They could be in trouble, so we gotta hurry!” King Mickey pulled the Star Shard out of his pouch. ”I know the Star Shard’ll take me ta where I need ta go. When ya find somebody, ya gotta bring back to the castle as quick as possible! Understood?” He gave a quick smile to the two, knowing they would do just as they were told. ”Alright, let’s get started on this rescue mission, then!”
Turning around, the King raised the Star Shard to the sky, ready to let it take him wherever there was trouble, but stopped when he heard someone mumble from behind a pile of debris. Curious, he walked over to the girl and saw that she’d landed face first.
”Gosh, are you okay?” he asked, offering her a hand and helping her to her feet. ”Ya shouldn’t be here, ya know. It’s way too dangerous! You’d better get back ta class or somethin’.” He let go of her hand and turned to Donald and Goofy. ”Could one of you make sure that she gets back alright. Somethin’ Rihakxi did coulda affected this girl.” He gave her a friendly smile before stepping back and raising the Star Shard again. It lit up and covered his body in light, and in one brilliant flash, he disappeared, already on his way to another world. ((Long, sorry! ^^; ))

Cissnei kept walking down the halls, counting class numbers and doorways as she looked at her schedule; this whole thing seemed unreal.... Maybe she was dead.... Of course if she was dead she probably wouldn't be going to school. Sure she wasn't quite eighteen yet, but Reno was and he was there too. Either she was dreaming or something was horribly wrong.
"Speaking of which...." Cissnei tilted her head when she heard some scuffling and distant shouting. Apparently something was wrong other than the manner she'd thought... Well, it was probably better than going to class, that was for sure.... It couldn't hurt to check it out....
She took off down the halls towards the sound, following her ears closely as the sounds got louder and louder, until she rounded a corner to see a mouse dissappearing... At first Cissnei thought she must have been seeing things, but the mouse had left behind what looked like a duck and dog- meaning that this most definitely had to be a dream or she was insane.
"Aw c'mon Cissnei, school ain't that bad! Being surrounded by ladies in tiny skirts and allowed to hang onto my fire materia? I'd say it could pass as heaven!" Maybe they WERE dead- they had been caught in a pretty huge explosion after all.... School seemed like an odd sort of afterlife, but the pyro figured he could make the best of it preeeeety easily.
"I wonder if they have good food? I wouldn't say no to a barbaque- hey Cissnei! wait!" Reno took off down the hall after her when she suddenly ran off. At first he wondered what she was running towards, but as the sound of fighting gradually reached his ears he got a pretty good idea.
He reached for his weapon, but by the time he'd caught up to Cissnei on the scene the battle was over, and some weird looking guys were left.
"Damn." Reno stated in awe, "They must have one hell of a makeup and disguise program here."
{hopefully that'll work ^^;}

Both Mage and Captain frowned at Mickey's statement that he wasn't sure just what the Nobody meant when she said what she did. Of course it didn't take a rocket scientist for them to know that whatever she said, it was more of a prophetic threat than anything else. Either way, Mickey was right; they had to find their friends and fast. The only safe spot for all of them to talk at this point would be the Disney Castle because of their protection with the Cornerstone of Light. "Yes sir!" both of them exclaimed with salutes, both to Mickey's order to split up and find their friends scattered to the worlds and his request to help the student who just fell in the rubble of the building. After their King disappeared with the Star Shard, they dropped their salutes and walked over to her, Goofy pushing some of the larger blocks off of her and Donald casting Curaga on her. "Are you okay?" Goofy asked, helping her up after Donald cast the spell. "You should really go to class. You might get hurt," he said, watching the girl disappear out of the destroyed gym and off to her classes. Donald then turned around and was about to walk out with Goofy when two other students came in, looking like they would've loved to join the fight that just took place. The two looked at each other, unsure of what to do. Donald then heard the boy say that they must have a good make up and disguise program. "Uh, yeah! We're in the um.... drama department!" Donald exclaimed, elbowing Goofy in the side for him to get the idea. "Yup! A-hyuck! But don't tell anyone. It's a secret!" he said, putting a white gloved finger to his snout in a 'hush' gesture. "Just go back to class! There's nothing to see here!" the duck said, running with Goofy out of the destroyed gym and out of the school. "That was a close one!" Donald exclaimed as they got closer to the beach. They would have to swim again to reach the island where the Gummi launch site was. "Do ya think there's another ship here for one of us to take?" he asked. "We can auto-pilot another ship here from the castle. Let's go!" he said, jumping into the water as he and Goofy swam back to the island. They raced across the water and did as Donald had suggested, soon getting a second ship to come to them. Within minutes, Donald and Goofy separated as they departed for the other worlds.

alone for awhile i've been searching in the darkfor traces of the love you've left inside my broken heartTo weave by picking up the pieces that remainMelodies of lifeLove's lost refrainCissnei quirked an eyebrow when the strange looking duo immediately exclaimed that they were in the drama department; certainly she couldn't think of a better explanation of why they looked so weird, but with how suspiciously they acted and stumbled over their words she could tell they were lying. It was part of her turk training to be able to root out lies and withdraw information in investigations, but did being in and entirely new world render that training useless? So far that seemed to be the case. She couldn't make heads or tails of the reasoning behind the strange duo dashing out of the gym at the sight of them- Reno might have been scary looking, but she certainly wasn't. And it was even more baffling to watch from the window as they exited the school and ran off towards the beach, only to jump into the water and take off towards an island off into the distance.
It wasn't until she saw an even stranger looking ship rise into the air and literally disappear that she began to get an inkling as to what was going on. "Curiosor and curiosor....." She looked at Reno, who, despite his unprofessionalness seemed to be getting an idea along the same lines.... and not liking it. "C'mon Cissnei." He sighed, wishing they could just do what the weird guy said and go to class (and that was saying something) "You're making me sober!"
"Maybe sobering up will make your brain actually function." she retorted, not missing a beat, "Think about it-" Shiva above, she couldn't believe that he was the second in command, "From the history classes here we've seen everything is different than what we know-"
"Yeah, my attention was concentrated a bit more on the present during those classes, what with the ladies and-"
"-And nothing!" Cissnei cut Reno off, now on a roll, "Places, events, even figures are different- not to mention that the technology of this world isn't that advanced, it's not even as advanced as ours! Yet those two guys had an airship that allowed them to just transport away? No, they're like us, from another world." She rested her pointer on her chin, completely lost in thought. That had to be the explanation; nothing else made enough sense to put everything together like the concept of other worlds and dimensions did... And yet, that brought up the question of how was it that one transferred to different worlds.....
"Their ship can't be the only way." Reno finally stated, giving in to Cissnei's crazy thinking reluctantly, "We ended up here from that giant explosion of the mako reactor. The ship probably makes it easier to travel dimensions, but finding some sort of abnormality or creating a huge shock would probably still make it possible..." He looked at Cissnei, seeing the gears turning and hoping they weren't heading towards the idea of blowing themselves up again to try and get home. One time was bad enough, he wasn't about to let her risk death again if he didn't have to. "And before you go jumping to any conclusions, I hope you know that if things get too dangerous I'm just gonna grab you and run." She made a face, clearly not liking that concept, so he added, "Look, you're like a sister to me. I don't care how important getting home is to you, it's not as important as you are to me. Remember that."
A long silence, filled to the brim with awkwardness, followed his statement; until Cissnei coughed, and changed the topic. "Alright, so if making another explosion won't work, we'll have to find an abnormality somewhere that will..." Another thoughtful silence, but at least it wasn't so awkward. "Maybe if we go back to the place where we first got here...." They had to have landed in that spot for a particular reason after they'd left their world; either way it was the only lead they had to getting off this one.
They left the gym and headed off down the halls in silence, partly because they were both lost in thought, and partly because they wanted to avoid any hall monitors that might catch them skipping class; if the monitors were half as suspicious as the duo from earlier were, then it was the last thing they needed. Luckily they made it outside without any setbacks, and once they'd gotten to the beach-where they knew they wouldn't be heard- they ran off at full speed towards a small cave sticking out of a cliff. Compared to the tropical setting of the rest of the island, the cave stuck out like a sore thumb. It was cool and dark inside- a stark contrast to the warm beach below- and as they traveled deeper into the cave the warmth outside faded entirely. There were strange drawings on the walls too that looked as if they'd been drawn by small children, but most curious of all was the dead end they reached, where of all things a closed door was.
After struggling with it for awhile, Reno came to the obvious conclusion of "It won't budge." before taking a step back and crossing his arms, only to have Cissnei whack him over the head and point out, "Well doing nothing won't exactly make things work either, now will it?" Reno looked at her curiously, then caught on to what she was getting at with a rather mischievous sense of glee. If finding an abnormality didn't work, then plan B was to create a shock- which meant he'd get to use his materia.
He pulled out the orb that held ifrit inside, rather eager with his love of fire to summon the fiery beast into existence; Cissnei maintained more self control over her emotions as she pulled out the Bahamut materia. The two looked at each other, then at the door, before reaching their hands out in front of them and concentrating their energy on releasing the power of their weapons. Slowly the orbs began to glow, brighter and brighter until with a flash two incredible beasts burst into existence before them. Ifrit was long and muscular, with glowing eyes and sharp black horns on its head; the flames on his body radiated so much heat that the duo had to take a step back. Bahamut was a long and graceful dragon with long black wings and glowing red eyes; his arms were muscular and his horns were uniquely curved atop his head. The two summons stood at attention before their masters, awaiting a command.
"We want you to attack that door at the same time." Cissnei stated, nodding at the beasts solemnly, "And.... don't go overboard." She glared at Reno, who looked ready to object to holding his fiery companion back, but he didn't dare object when Cissnei was like this- he'd regret it way too much later. "What she said." he stated glumly, nodding at Ifrit to get to work.
The beasts turned towards the door with difficulty- as the cave was rather small for the both of them; they dug their claws into the ground against the recoil they knew would come. Ifrit's body began to glow even more brightly as the flames rose higher and higher and the heat became hotter and hotter. Bahamut crouched and spread his wings, absorbing energy from the air around him on top of powering up with his own.... It looked like the beasts weren't going to listen to the command to 'not go overboard' as they prepared to fire, and the incredible thunder that resulted in them attacking at the same time proved it. The door turned white hot, then it began to glow, and the two summons exhausted all of their energy before they returned to their materia to sleep, but it was enough. The door swung open, and while Cissnei and Reno caught a glimpse of the blackness inside, they had no time to think about what they were getting into before they were sucked in.
