Three Hunters were shunted out of the Void, Sethe stumbled as he regained his balance. He held up Veroen, who'd been hit in the stomach by four UV bullets. Sethe looked about, regaining his bearings, and noticed where they were. 'Gail!' he called. 'I got an injured Hunter here!' He walked Veroen over to a stretcher, and helped him up onto it.

Gail came out of her office, and walked up. 'Oh Christ. I'm not even sure how to treat this!' she said, looking at the wound. 'I guess I can try my best, but I don't know if anything other than a vampire's own regenerative abilities would heal it.'

'Please, think of something, Gail. I don't like Hunters being out of the fight.' Sethe replied, patting her shoulder, and looking at Veroen. 'Any ideas, Veroen?' he asked, taking a drag from his cigarette, and focusing the fumes and excess carcinogens into a ball of smoke.

'Anything you can think of can help me, help you.' Gail added. 'I could try sewing you up, if it would help. Are the bullets still in you?'

Veroen shook his head silently, and put up his free hand.

"I am fine. I have ways of healing myself."

He gathered up a bit of strength, and walked himself over to a corner in the room, and slumped to the ground.

"This will take a few minutes. Oh, and I'm not a Hunter, Krii'Esou. At least, not for a while...."

And with those words, the atmosphere around him became thick, and darkened, until Veroen was engulfed by a black sphere of Void energy, almost like a cocoon.

Void mending was one of many techniques he learned while in that Cave beneath the subway, where the Void made time stand still. This was how he had regenerated a new Void eye, where he once had an empty eye socket covered by an eye patch.

While in the sphere of Void energy, the Void melted away his injury, and the markings that now covered his entire body glowed with dark power. In a matter of minuted, he was healed, and the Void sphere dissipated into dark cloudy smoke, and disappeared completely.

Veroen stood up, feeling refreshed.

He walked back to Krii'Esou, and held out his hand, to offer the Omega Hunter a friendly handshake.

"Thanks again. I believe we got off on the wrong foot... I did not mean for you to meet me in such a manner. I have gotten a firm control over the Void, and come to terms with it. I am now one with the Void, so to speak."

His face was calm as he spoke. He knew that he and Krii'Esou had gotten to a bad start, but hopefully after fighting together, they could be comrades. He'd lost a few comrades in his recent past, but now possibly he would gain a few more.

Sethe watched him go to the corner, and use his powers to heal himself. An interesting method of healing oneself, he mused. The Void enbergies dispersed, and a revitalized Veroen rose, and walked up to him, offering nullification of the bad impression Sethe had received initially. Sethe smiled, letting the smoke he'd just inhaled ball up with the rest.

The Omega extended his own hand, and grasped Veroen's firmly. 'Good. I can't have any Hunters being controlled by other forces.' he said, emphasizing the word Hunter carefully. 'Edith and I need everyone to be on the level. We can't have anyone losing it. Including ourselves. I'm thankful that when Esou joined me, when I was turned, he rose to be a personality who helped me. He's never had any ill will towards me.'

He smiled, shaking Veroen's hand. After a moment, he released his grip, and turned, so he could see both Veroen, and Raven, as Gail smiled, and headed back into her office to do some more work. 'Well, like I said, good fighting, both of you. That's the kind of comraderie and coordination I want to see from this group.'

Veroen grinned slightly at Krii'Esou's emphasis of the word, 'Hunter', realizing that this would probably be his new home, and soon. He let out a thoughtful chuckle with another shake of his head. This was not out of amusement, however. The Void master had much on his plate, since the Coven was after him. Veroen was a big threat to the coven's safety, for Veroen knew their deepest and darkest secrets. He was the one collecting data for them, and silently assassinating their enemies. He knew their dirty laundry very intricately, and now that Veroen knew the truth about what happened so long ago, he was no longer a minion of the deceitful Coven.

Pushing these thoughts to the side, he glanced over at Marcus with a smile.

"Good thing I popped in when I did, eh Marcus?" He let out a soft chuckle. It had been a while since he had felt such comradeship.

He turned back to Sethe.

"And I'm sure that this will not be the last fight that we fight together. However, I still will consider myself solo, until I feel that the time is right to join your ranks, Krii'Esou. But you may consider me an Ally to the Hunter's cause. I believe i have found true comradeship here..."

He said this as he glanced around at the soon to be familiar Haven.

Kerrigan stepped into the Infirmary, only to be greeted by three faces she was growing rather accustomed to. While one hand was clasped over her chest, she could only laugh slightly, curls bouncing about her shoulders as she shook her head.

"We all just keep running into each other, don't we. At least I'm glad Gail's having more company in here than just me...keeps her on her toes. Let me guess where that explosion came from," she said, moving over to an empty cot and jumping up on it, wincing slightly as her chest throbbed painfully. Gail started moving over to her, for once the huntress not objecting. Instead, she undid the front clasps of the corset with one hand, moving it to the cot next to her and unzipping the front of the body suit underneath. With Gail's help she managed to slip her arms through, the knife wound deep in the left side of her chest shining with fresh, red blood.

"I know, I know Gail...I need to stop getting stabbed," the huntress said before the doctor could utter a word, Gail examining the wound, more interested in why it wasn't healing as quickly as normal. Turning, the woman pulled out a long pair of extractor hooks before speaking.

"The tip of the knife is lodged in the bone," she explained, Kerrigan sighing slightly as she knew what that meant. Laying down on the cot, the huntress was handed down a rolled up towel to bite down on, her chest rising and falling quickly in a few preparatory breaths before she felt the instrument under the wound, a muffled yell coupled with a quick closing of her eyes indicating just how painful it was. What was only a few seconds later, though it seemed to take forever, Gail extracted the inch-long tip of the blade, setting it to the side before starting to stitch the wound closed. Kerrigan took the towel out of her mouth with the other hand, wiping a few tears that involuntarily slipped from the corners of her eyes.

"Thanks Gail," she muttered, her voice cracking slightly as she glanced at the remaining men in the room, giving them one of her 'mention this to anyone, and I'll kill you' glances. As soon as the woman was finished, she sat up, replacing her bra strap and pulling the top of her suit back on, though she left it unzipped for now. That would have to wait until she felt more range of motion in her shoulder.

"Alright, so what happened to you guys?"

The sudden transportation startled Marcus a bit, but was quickly becoming accustom to the unusual magic trick as seeing how it was his second time being teleported. Bearing a wide grin, the only human in the group other than Gail hung back and attempted to listened to the group, though his thoughts wandering elsewhere. It wasn't till Veroen addressed the dark haired hunter personally did he stir and glance up at the two, chuckling with a nod.

"Yeah. Good thing." And with that, the man went silent again as he pondered on that maniac vampire. Twice in one night he confronted the creature and twice he had survived. Though the feeling was great and stirred some strength into his body, Marcus couldn't hold back the fatigue that plagued his body. Unlike these guys, Marcus was still human and sleep was still a very needed commodity he needed. Running his hand through his matted dirty hair, the hunter let out a sigh, only to stop another familiar face burst through the Infirmary.

Kerrigan was bleeding but showed no real sign of bother. Bearing a grin, Marcus gave a nod of his head to her as she then went to talk to the doctor. Glancing over to the others, namely Krii'Esou, Marcus sighed and shook his head upon hearing the question as to what happened with them all.

"An old friend from earlier today decided to visit us. Remember that vamp I confronted at the diner? Well, apparently he's still pissed about that." A shrug came from the man as he glanced at the two companions who were there. "These guys saved my a**." Bearing his casual crooked grin, Marcus gave a nod to them both. "Thanks." Pushing himself off the wall he leaned again, the man then strolled to the doorway.

"Well, I think I've finally pushed myself to fatigue. I need sleep, unlike you cool cats. Once more, thanks guys for saving my a**...." And after that, Marcus went through the corridors towards his room, leaving the group to their business. Though he was torn and wished to stay with them, perhaps learn more of what Kerrigan was doing to earn her wound, his human body simply would not have any of it. Dragging himself before he'd pass out, Marcus made it to his room.

Veroen glanced at Marcus with slight grin.

"You're welcome. I doubt that this will be our last encounter with that fool of a Vampire..." He said this thoughtfully. He wondered what the Hell that Vampire wanted, and why he felt the need to kill Marcus. Marcus had beaten him once, almost near killed the Vampire. What this Vampire's agenda was, Veroen did not know. He would find out, however, soon enough. One of his best skills as an assassin was to gather intel on a target before striking.

He would do just that. Perhaps he would do this with Marcus, seeing as Marcus was the Vampires target.

His head snapped up as Kerrigan walked into the infirmary, wounded somewhere on her chest.

Veroen shook his head silently, answering her statement about the explosion. "Long story..."

Veroen began to lose himself in thought again, when Marcus got up, and spoke to them again, thanking them for saving his a**.

"Anytime, Marcus." he said this with a soft smile, as he watched Marcus leave the area.

He then quietly leaned up against a wall, thinking for a moment. Then he pulled out his black cell phone, and typed a rather long message with Vampiric speed, resulting in little over 3 seconds used to type the message.

He slid the phone in his pocket, and began to lose himself in thought once again.

Marcus thanked the two of them for their help, and Sethe smiled. 'We're all in this together. When it comes to the gritty aspects of it, we have to leave our personal dramas out of it.' Sethe replied as Marcus walked out of the infirmary, and Kerrigan walked in. She sat on a cot, as Gail walked up, took a few minutes to take care of Kerri's injury, and finished stitching her up.

Kerrigan asked what had happened, and Marcus and Veroen detailed it. Sethe just continued to smoke, gathering all of the smoke in a ball, so it didn't mess anything in the infirmary up. Sethe smiled as he added to the details. 'Marcus had the brilliant idea to throw a Willy Pete at the Leech, and used my reading talent to send a thought to me to blow it up over the shi*thead. So, I did. It was genius thinking, really.' He hoped Marcus had heard him before he'd gotten to his room.

'Veroen used his talents in the combat, and while it's unfortunate that it didn't go quite according to his plan, it was still excellent teamwork on all three of our parts. I'm proud to have been able to fight with you two.' he said, looking at Veroen.

He turned to Kerrigan, and concealed a sigh. 'Your turn, what happened?'

Veroen's head snapped up as he heard Krii'Esou speak to him. A slight grin played at his lips, as he thought of their battle. Indeed, Veroen had not fought with someone like that in quite some time. However, that was his first fight as a true Void Master. A few things were bound to go wrong. And one did. Veroen had gotten himself injured by trying too hard to injure his foe.

He quickly dismissed the thoughts, and replied to Krii.

"It was an honor on my part as well, Sethe." Veroen spoke the truth. He had not fought beside someone of the Omega Hunters caliber in quite some time.... Not since the days of old.

Veroen's ear perked at the sound of the incoming transfer of the conversation between Ceon and Edith. He gritted his teeth out of anger. Who the hell did Ceon think he was. A mutt like him should know better than to try to get involved in a Death Dealers relationship. Actually, ex-Death Dealer, now Void Master.

Veroen turned to everyone in the infirmary.

"I shall take my leave. I must go speak with a bothersome lycan."

And with that, he exploded into a rotating cloud of smoke, disappearing completely.

Kerrigan looked between the three men in the room as she listened to what happened with them, a grin coming to her lips as she heard their tale. It was nice to have a strong group of hunters together again - the city needed that. Giving Marcus a small wink as he said he needed to go sleep, she turned her attention to Sethe as he asked her what happened to her.

"It's not nearly as interesting a story as yours. 3 vamps from Boston grabbed two people right off the street, causing a bit of a scene. One of them got a lucky shot in," she said simply, her explanation for her wound as simple as she could make it right now. Even though the death toll had actually been 5, she chose to leave that part out for now, though just thinking about it brought a twinge of guilt into her stomach. That was part of the job she hated, but was necessary. Smiling as Veroen said he would take his leave, she gave him a small wave, turning her attention to Krii as he was the last one to remain in the room. Pushing herself from where she was sitting on the cot and slipping into a standing position, the huntress zipped the front of her body suit up halfway before wincing again. Although the wound was healing, it still hurt.

"Sounds like you're making friends at least," she said with a small chuckle, tossing her curls over her shoulders without really looking at him.

'I think they just needed to see why Will chose me. I hope to fight with them, again. Build some rapport with the newbies in the group.' Sethe looked at his dead cigarette, and focused on it, forcing the fire to diffuse. He lifted the cigarette into the ball of smoke, and it floated there while he continued talking.

'Do you... want to talk? I'd ask you to come with me on another Hunt, but you're still a little injured. I mean, I don't know if you'd want to talk right now, being injured, maybe you just want to rest. I'd... I don't know.' He said, fidgeting around, rubbing his neck, and over-all just second guessing himself. He looked around sheepishly, and started to walk to the door.

'I...' He sighed, and stopped, leaning again on the doorway. 'Don't know...'

"Well, it's better to show them why than just assert blind authority. You'll make more friends that way," she said, giving him a small gaze as she leaned back on the cot, crossing her arms over her chest. Her green eyes fell on him once more as he asked her if she wanted to walk, getting flustered and turning, heading toward the door.

"Sethe, in all our time together have I ever let an injury stop me from going on a hunt? Or making time for other hunters who obviously need to unload something from their chest?" She sighed as he kept saying he "didn't know," the huntress motioning for him to wait as she stood, grabbing her corset heading towards the door as well.

"You're right though, we do need to talk about stuff. I don't guess going back to my room would make it any easier for you to say what you have to say. Hunters? The entertainment lounge?" She motioned for him to lead the way, looking down at her exposed chest and zipping her undersuit back up all the way. It put a little pressure on her chest wound, but it was bearable. At least she could focus on that feeling if things got too awkward between the two of them. This was one of those conversations she knew was inevitable, but she wouldn't mind never having it.

Sethe thought for a few moments, looked around flustered, and sighed. 'I don't think speaking in the bar would be appropriate for what we need to talk about. Maybe the entertainment room. I guess. We might be able to keep people out of there.' He inhaled sharply through his nose, and looked toward the trap door in the halls. The ball of smoke, and the cigarette floated away towards the trap door, and went up and out into the bar, where the cigarette would land on the floor, only to be cleaned up later, whilst the smoke hazed into the air upstairs.

'Let's go to the entertainment room.' he decided. The werewolf started walking towards the entertainment room, watching behind him, waiting for Kerrigan to follow.
