Ridley knew he shouldn't be getting so attached to a random Tauros like this. But the big, fluffy bull Pokemon was just too cool. After three attempts at mounting it and failing, he led the Tauros over to the side of the intact wagon two and jumped onto its back with a whoop.
This, naturally, freaked the Tauros out and it bellowed, charging off towards the trees with Ridley hanging on for dear life. "Whoa!!" he yelped, hurriedly getting a seat and clinging to the thick fur on its shoulders, digging his heels into its sides as he'd seen riders do on TV and yanking on the fur harder.
Which made the enraged Tauros go faster, of course. It kicked up its rear legs and tried to buck him off, thoroughly unamused with this whole situation as it plunged towards the forest.

 Kader had moved off a bit, away from where they were making camp. He was still pissed at the scientists. Had they really come here thinking it would be a walk through Amnity Square? It wasn't gonna be all fun and games, and nothing was just gonna go smoothly. The pokemon were out to keep them away and they weren't gonna back off just because the scientists were having a bad day.
Plopping down to take a seat, Kader used a stick to poke at the ground. What had he been expecting about coming out here?

Alastair barely suppressed a snortlaugh at how eager Ridley was. “You won’t be so happy in about… oh, half a day. Trust me.” Few pains could properly prepare to the agony of saddlesores. Actually, they didn’t even have any saddles, so all the riders would have to ride bare-back. That was even worse. People always underestimated the importance of stirrups. For now, he simply sat down by Wagon One and watched the show, which seemed to consist mostly of Ridley’s failed attempts at riding.
Now that was quality programming.
Although, the idea of watching those damned scientists trying to ride a tauros would be pretty amusing too...

 Feeling sure about her state of mind, Aimi crept out from the wagon to go find Kader. She hadn't seen him since he told her to stay put and she was kind of worried about him. Finding him drawing in the dirt, she snuck up behind him and snaked her arms around his neck. "Found you, handsome."

"I think they're trailer's still fine actually...the wheels are okay." Luna answered, pointing to the steel trailer that seemed mostly undamaged except for a few dents.
"Hmph, we're going back in then." The head scientist spoke, immediately rushing inside to get away from Ace. "There's a lot to clean up and hopefully, we can get some peace and quiet from you kids there."
The other researchers followed his lead, all crowding around the trailer. Of course, they would have to clean it out first. As they all crammed inside of the trailer again, there was plenty of shouting and arguing. They seemed to be miserable about the wreckage of the inside of the trailer from the two psychic attacks.

 "Whhhaaattt?! Reallly! That's is sooooo awesome!" Riza exclaimed. So Kai must be a real pokemon trainer! How neat is that!
"Oh, I was just curious, that's all. Plus, you look like you're a very interesting person! I mean, in a good way," she laughed nervously, hoping she didn't insult the other trainer again.
She smiled broadly, much like a kid in a candy store, "They had another one of these? Was it the same thing, or something different? I'd assume something different just because I can't see anyone wanting to work with those scientists again, they're rather mean."
"What kind of pokemon did you catch? Though, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to!" Riza added the last bit rather quickly. She didn't want to come off as pushy....though she doubted she could really be 'pushy' in Kai's case anyway.

He jumped a bit, but settled when he realized it was Aimi. "Hey there. You okay?" he asked, putting on a smile so as not to worry her. He'd been really worried about her during the commotion. It was quite shocking to see the trailer take out wagon three. It helped to renew one's respect of how strong pokemon actually were.

Ridley, beginning to think that the Tauros was going to take him into the trees, ducked down to avoid getting scraped off with a branch. But the Tauros skidded to a halt just before the edge of the forest and threw him off, shaking itself vigorously, grunting, and meandering off to get something to eat. Ridley ended up flat on his face on the ground, unaware of the amusement he was probably causing Alastair.
Getting up, Ridley went to get the Tauros, ready for attempt two.
Oh yeah, he'd be sore tomorrow.

For the second time that day Liam cursed, sitting up from where he had been resting against one of the dead trees, his eyes going wide as he watched Ridley plunge into the forest.
"Ridley!?!"
Getting up, the healer sprinted after the bucking pokemon, if only just to make sure Ridley hadn't killed himself.

 As Kayla walked around the soon-to-be camping site, she pondered on how she was going to ride Hea, who was currently grazing up at the bushes nearby, using her long tongue to grip the leaves and eat it.
She suppose she could use a couple of blankets to dull the spikes on Hea's back. She would have to use a rope or more like some leather straps to wrap it around to secure it.
Kayla bit her lip as she thought some more. Okay. She could use some more leather rope to use it as a halter but no. Unlike Taruos, who needed some direction, Hea could understand her being that she was a part pyshic. So no need for the halter.
Kayla smiled. So all she needed was a secure way to sit on Hea without injuring herself too much and Hea at the same time.

 Meeka got off her Stantler when she heard the new announcement from Jen. "Guess we are staying here buddy." she said. Heila jumped off Ebba and walked back to the wagon. Meeka just stared at her.

She nodded, nuzzling his cheek a bit with hers. "I'm fine, I guess I just needed some time to process the carnage." Things like that never happened at home, even when the gastly was playing tricks... It was just one more thing she had to get used to. "I can tell you what, I certainly wish we had another psychic pokemon on hand. We could have used it to keep the trailer from smashing the hell out of wagon three."

Grabbing the Tauros's horn, he tugged it back over to the wagon, using a wheel as a mounting block this time. The Tauros was less and less amused by the moment. Ridley got a leg over the Pokemon, getting a set on the sloping back and clinging to the fur again. He waited, hoping it wouldn't bolt, one hand holding onto the wagon in case it did.
"... ..."

Normally, Alastair would have offered some advice, but… well, he was bored and this was amusing. Besides, it wasn’t likely that Ridley would get too injured. Still. Eventually, Alastair’s natural inclination to give people advice that they never asked for surfaced.
“Well, when you need any advice, I’ll be around here somewhere.”
Heeey… if they were cleaning out the inside of the trailer, Alastair figured, that meant they’d be going in and out all the time. That, in turn, meant that a trainer---innocent in every way, of course---could just happen to walk by and accidentally take a look inside the trailer. With all that arguing going on inside, there had to be something good. Something important had been knocked around, and Alastair was just the curious b*****d for that job. Very casually, he pushed himself away from the wagon and started to saunter closer to the trailer, wondering if he could accidentally overhear what they were yelling about.

 She stepped back, her eye closing in annoyance as she rubbed her ear. Snapping back her red eye loomed on the girl before her hoping she would settle down and not practically leap on her.
"Yes, there was another caravan last year though we rode tauros and rapidash rather than ride in these monsterous wagons." She kicked the side of a nearby wagon with her iron boot. "It was different; we traveled north to the abanndoned city of Inhinx. I caught the pokémon that was scaring all the others away from the frozen lands." She grabbed the greatball at her side and tossed it lightly as a scarred absol appeared in a flash of red light. "His name is Isamu."
He warily looked up at the stranger, his back raised in defense in case she wanted to glomp or hug him. Was his owner bragging about him again and just wanted to show him off? Most likely.
