Aidan hadn't been expecting Jun to be that pleased with himself. Maybe this was a mistake? To late though because the next thing he knew he was in the, nicer then anything he had ever even looked at, bed. As the sheets settled around him Aidan blinked a few times in confusion over Jun's statement and Alice's laughter. 'Which one was the Mom and which one was the Dad?' Still it had been a long day and Aidan didn't even notice as he quickly drifted off to sleep.
Used to waking up much earlier then most people even dreamed of Aidan was awake long before the others. The teen wiped the dust from his eyes and quietly got out of the bed. Grabbing his bag he went to the bathroom to go change into his normal clothing and freshen up a bit. Taking a quick shower, he was feeling pretty dirty, he hoped he didn't wake the others up. After the short shower he toweled himself dry and quickly changed into some clean clothes and brushed his teeth. With a clean white shirt, with all the buttons on this one, and a nice black waist coat helped a bit to. Forgoing the jacket while he was still inside Aidan stepped out of the bathroom.
Peeking out at the others Aidan noticed they were still sleeping. Suddenly Aidan felt a surge of cold rush through him. Glancing back he saw that his new Duskull was peeking over his shoulder to. The tiny pokemon just seemed to smile at him before it shrugged its ghostly arms. Sighing Aidan just turned around and grabbing a spare key to the room he headed out making sure that he knew what the room to come back to was. Jun maybe content to take advantage of these people but Aidan would make it up to them. After all every kitchen needed a second set of hands, plus the fact that he was working for free always helped. That thought in mind Aidan headed down to where he hoped the kitchen was. Behind him Duskull floated along wanting to keep his trainer company.

Sere looked at Kasiya's arm then down at her own. "I think we can do it together. Both of us have bum shoulders, but together we'll make it worth. Although I'm not going anywhere near Mike. I'll let you know that now." She said. "Enough fighting has been done today." Serenity nodded. Life was funny. This morning she hadn't the courage to even talk to these people let alone fight along side them. Now she was probably the only one at the moment that had enough distance from the situation to actually help end the one last fight that was remaining today.
Serenity looked back in the direction of the two boys, then back to Kasiya. "If we don't get in there now though, it looks as though the red head might get a bit more then he bargened for with that nutter." She looked back to the boy that was now on the ground. Her face turned sad. "I'll take Keegan, you take Mike." She suggested. "Sound good?"

Recalling Brook into his pokeball Robin grinned as she put it away before going forward and scooping the fuming Aipom up into her arms. "Hey Luffy calm down a bit." She giggled slightly as she walked forward a bit and picked Hat back up and plopped it back down on his head. " I will get you a new string to hold it in place ok?" Robin grinned at him as she held him up. Luffy just stared at her for a second before a grin split his face as well. "Haha! How about we make it to town and I get you and the others a full course meal? At the pokemon center of course!" There was no way she was paying for her pokemons expensive eating habits. Luffy didn't seem to care if the food came from the pokemon center or not, he was just hungry.
With food on their mind the two made it to Mauville City in no time. It might have helped that after seeing Luffy's ferocious attacks against that Linoone they wanted nothing to do with them. The two didn't really care and with a cheer they made it to the pokemon center for a great meal. Waving at Nurse Joy Robin walked to the counter and placed Brooks pokeball down. "Can you please heal my Hoppip?"
Nurse Joy just smiled at her. "Sure can! I hope he wasn't hurt in that awful attack at the party."
"You heard about that?" Robin asked a bit confused, she didn't know the news went out that fast.
Nurse Joy just smiled at her as she placed Brooks pokeball down on the healing machine and turned it on. "Oh yes, it was all over the news."
"Wow all over the news?" Robin was a bit worried, she hoped her speech didn't make it on the news. Then again Nurse Joy didn't seem to recognize her so it probably didn't. "Well Brook wasn't hurt in that battle, he just got a bit scrapped up by a Linoone."
"A Linoone huh?" Nurse Joy asked as she looked down at the screen. "Your Hoppip is of a pretty high level. I am surprised that he didn't evolve in that stressful situation." There wasn't any scorn in the Nurse's voice, she was just offering her helpful opinion.
The news that Brook could evolve was news to her. While Hoppip were native to her own region Robin had never really looked them up before. "I didn't know Hoppip could evolve..." No wait... her parents had said something about them evolving, that's how he had gotten his name from them. Pulling out her pokedex she flipped it open and moved it to Brooks pokemon entry. It was there that she saw its evolution and frowned slightly. Skiploom wasn't that cute... She still had no idea why they named him Brook either, there was nothing there that looked like the musical skeleton! 'Oh it can evolve again.' She thought and moved it to the next entry. "Its so cute!" She exclaimed as she laid eyes on his final evolution. Now she understood why he was named Brook! The big puffball afro was exactly like Brooks!
Nurse Joy only laughed at Robin's excitement. "Yes Jumpluff are very cute. If a trainer can get a Hoppip to a Jumpluff they usually enter them in pokemon contests. They are so cute they usually score very high. I am sure if yours ever wants to evolve you could win a lot of contests with him." Nurse Joy explained as she pulled his pokeball out of the healing machine. "Well I hope you have a good stay here. There are a few others in the cafeteria if you want to talk to them." Nurse Joy handed Robin back her pokeball.

Mike grinned sadistically as Keegan rushed forward, both knowing full well how beaten and tired the red headed boy was. He was in no condition to be doing this, but that's just what Mike wanted. Keegan threw all his energy into one final swing, but missed, terribly. "Oh? What's this?" Mike said with an unimpressed snort, grabbing red head's arm and pulling him close. "You are slipping my friend." He pressed his forehead against Keegan's staring him down in silence, letting the moment just sink. He saw Keegan's eyes wander, perhaps to his gloves? "Oh ho-ho Keegan, don't worry." the boy said reassuringly. "I won't set you on fire, we have too much history!" He laughed, his joyful eyes never blinking.
"Now..." he started. "I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Mike, Mike isn't really here right now." the boy whispered, squeezing Keegan's arm tight. "But if he were, I think I know what he'd say to you. He'd say how he remembers the screams every night when he goes to sleep. He'd say 'I remember watching people die in front of me, and that I was powerless to stop it. I remember seeing trainers abandon their Pokemon to save themselves, only to be killed by falling debris. I remember the blood, the terror, the helplessness I felt knowing I had a hand in all this.'" As he recounted the events, his voice showed a sliver of remorse. "Then again, that's what that little whimpering baby thinks. Not me." He smiled again, before spinning around and throwing Keegan to the ground hard, laughing as he did. "So be a little nicer on the kid, huh? He's very soft."
The boy looked around. "Where did everybody go?" he said mostly to himself. Kilik and Mitsu had run off (finally), Giovanni and his thugs had all come and gone, and the only ones left of interest were Kasiya, Keegan, Serenity, Sasha and Kirsa, the last of which was shooting him a very angry glare. He waved happily to the stout purple headed girl, smiling as it only made her frown more intense.
---
Sasha just couldn't believe it, and stood there with her mouth hanging open as the whole thing unfolded. There was just too much awful information to process at one time. Mike doing all this stuff for Lilycove, Groudon...hundreds dying... Then there was Kilik and his murder of the Silph Co. president. She read about that! That was him? No way. She didn't believe it. There was no way her two brave white knights would do something like that on purpose. There was no way that what those two went through to save her the other day was some stupid act. She could only stand there in shocked silence as she watched the rest unfold. Mike's complete mental breakdown after being rejected by Flannery made tears well up in the girl's eyes. Sure, it was awful stuff, but at the core, he meant to help. It doesn't really excuse his extreme methods, but still...
It was over in an instant, Kilik and Mitsu fleeing the scene, Team Rocket leaving as quickly as they had appeared, and Mike and Keegan's little scuffle. He couldn't here what they were saying but the way Mike was talking it was almost like he enjoyed hurting his friends. It made a chill run up her spine. That was not the Mike she knew, something was wrong. She could only watch as everyone broke up and drifted away, like a melting block of ice in the summer head, she never felt so helpless.

That sounded pretty good, it was always good to talk to pokemon trainers, maybe they had some good advice? Robin grinned as she thanked Nurse Joy for healing Brook and headed off to the cafeteria. Luffy had been a very good boy during that whole conversation and she owed him big time. "Come on big guy lets fill your bottomless stomach up!" She cheered as they entered the room. Not paying to much mind to the other trainers at the moment Robin set Luffy down in one of the chairs. When she was sure he was set, the little Aipom had picked up two forks and was staring at her with an eager face, she released Brook and Raz. Brook let out a happy cry at being, one alive again, and two at the fact that there were some pretty girls in short skirts nearby. The little Yanma let out a cheer and buzzed around the table a few times before he settled himself down on one of the chairs leaning up on the table.
Nearby the few girls who were in the short skirts Brook had noticed let out a few groans at seeing the bug pokemon. Like most girls they did not like bug pokemon no matter how adorable the small Yanma was. However there attention was drawn over to Robins table and when they spotted her there was a hint of surprise among them. It seems like they recognized the red headed trainer.
Robin though didn't seem to recognize them, or rather she hadn't even glanced over at them. Humming to herself she grabbed three trays and set them down before she started to pile food on them. While most of the food was for Luffy Robin still had to make sure that there was food for her other growing pokemon as well. Looking back at the table Robin stared at Luffy for a moment, he was getting much bigger, bigger then any Aipom she had ever seen. Then again a lot of people didn't raise Aipom's for battle, they weren't exactly the strongest pokemon. Then again no other Aipom had Luffy's determination, will power and inner strength. At that thought she smiled and nodded to herself before she started the balancing act to her table.
Robin laughed as she dance balanced her way to her own table where her pokemon rested. Luffy's eyes seemed to brighten and he gave some loud cheers as the food approached. He was making a racket and Robin blushed in embarrassment as she set the food down on the table. The small Aipom seemed to roar in joy as he set into the food in front of him. Robins other two pokemon were much more reserved about going for their food. Then again a rampaging Tyranitar was more reserved the Luffy when it came to food. Robin just sighed as she grabbed some food for herself as she pulled a seat up to sit down in. If her and the others didn't hurry up they wouldn't eat at all.

With tears in her eyes again, Kasiya nodded, looking towards her two battered, bloody friends. Her heart ached at the sight of them and she wanted nothing more than to take care of both of them. They both need me, she thought, feeling as though she were being ripped apart from the inside. But Keegan... Her gaze fell upon the redhead as he hit the ground yet again, and all she wanted to rush to his side and hold him and explain to him that those things that Mai had said weren't true and that she really and truly loved him, though she knew in her heart that nothing she could say would get through to him.
"R-right, Mike," she stammered, looking to Serenity and nodding, though before she could take a step she felt a strong hand grab her by the good shoulder. Kasiya made a frightened squeaking sound and she turned around slowly to try and see who it was that had grabbed her.
"Hey, calm down," said Cynthia reassuringly, looking down at the girl, wearing a caring expression. She glanced over at the two boys as their scuffle ended and she shook her head. "You're not going anywhere with that arm like that," she said, her tone slightly scolding. She studied the injury for a moment, taking a firm hold on the girl. "You might want to help hold onto her," she advised Serenity, her lips set in a firm line. "I'm not going to lie to you, Kasiya, was it? This is going to hurt. A lot. On three, all right? One... two..."
By this point, Kasiya's eyes were wider than a Jigglypuff's and she didn't even ponder as to why this woman knew her name. She whimpered a bit as Cynthia slowly rotated her arm, her hold on becoming quite firm. Kasiya shook her head frantically as the countdown started, more tears already streaming down her cheeks. "...three!" There was a twist and a loud popping sound, and more pain that Kasiya had felt in her entire life, and though she tried, she was unable to stop herself from screaming in agony. The worst of it passed rather quickly and her cries died down, though she was still shaking all over.
"Shh, you'll be okay now," Cynthia said, pulling the younger girl into a hug. "Just try to stay calm, you'll be all right. The worst of it is over now." She glanced up at the remaining kids, wondering just how they all managed to get themselves into such trouble at such a young age. Nothing like this ever happened to me, she thought, continuing to try and comfort the still-crying Kasiya.

Jun, breathing rhythmically with his eyes decidedly closed, oophed a bit, flopped over to one side, and lazily thrust an arm over Aidan, who was either dead asleep or far too kind to move the heavy limb of an "asleep" man and risk waking him. In fact, Jun made a little sound when the hapless spooning victim tried to escape, and the arm was promptly returned to its original position. Pretty damn warm, the asleep man thought, the beginnings of a smirk pulling at his still lips.
In the morning, Jun woke up luxuriously, stretching a bit before sitting up. Oh, right, hotel. That meant -- oh, no fun, nothing was next to him except for some rumpled sheet. Ah well, it was lovely while it lasted, and Aidan obviously hadn't ditched them entirely 'cause his bag was still there. The young man rolled over again towards the phone on the bed stand and groggily (but more or less politely) requested a cup of Joe; the clock read eight A.M., pretty early by his standards, but there was no point in wasting daylight. So Jun got to the task of making his bed-hair into its typical fabulousness, taking a good fifteen minutes. Then he put some green track shorts on, a gray hoodie, some sneakers, and a pale yellow sweat-band on, deciding to get in a little jog (after paying for and chugging down the coffee he had nearly forgotten about). Ronnie came with him on his explicit suggestion, for he figured she needed some calorie-burnin' too. He wouldn't ever say such a harsh thing to her, but he had seen -- dare he even think it? -- a love-handle under that dress of hers! So he wrote a little note for Alice alerting her where she might find him and what not.
Meanwhile, independent little Rosaline decided to visit the Victorian green house gardens she adored at this hotel; they had the best scents, and she was working on imitating them in her own way. While Jun and Ronnie worked on beauty appealing to the eyes, she could work on appeal to one's sense of smell. Total beauty, to all five senses... maybe Jun could find it someday. She didn't doubt him.
A sudden downpour of rain forced Jun and Ronnie to make haste back to the hotel, both rather disgruntled; humidity meant the most awful thing in the world -- frizz. Ah, well. Well, not that they were sweaty or anything, but it wouldn't do to walk around in workout clothes, so Jun headed back to the room to change, figuring that he might as well get some food from the restaurant here rather than ride out in the rain for another place.

While Luffy became a food vacuum Robin, Brook and Raz ate at a much more normal pace and amount. They tried their best to not watch Luffy eat either, it was somewhat nauseating. As Robin munched on a cheeseburger she was thinking about what Nurse Joy had said, Brook evolving and becoming a contest pokemon. It was probably a good idea, the poor Hoppip wasn't that big on battles and would probably enjoy contests more. Robin wasn't all that bright about contests but she was pretty sure the Kanto league one was starting up soon, or maybe it was already going? She had no idea, but it sounded like a good idea to maybe go check it out. Though the train station was in Slateport and she would have to head down there again. Oh well she forgot to say good bye to Jaeshan, she blushed a little at the though of the other trainer. Shaking her head to push those thoughts away she she giggled slightly as she finished her dinner.
"Hey, Robin." A voice said to her side.
Blinking a few times Robin looked around not seeing anyone until she turned around and spotted two trainers who were behind her. They looked really familular... OH! They were some of her old friends from Goldenrod. "Oh hello! I didn't know you two were here!" She was excited, she hadn't seen them in a long time, ever since they had left on there adventure.
"We have been here the whole time. You just weren't paying attention missie." One of them said. Both of them had grins on there face. One had short red hair with long bangs in front of her face. The other one had auburn hair that was pulled back into a tight ponytail.
"Yeah you should be paying more attention Robin." The short haired girl commented as she tossed a pokeball up in the air before catching it. "So you finally started your adventure? It's about time."
Robin blushed in embarrassment at the accusation. "Yeah well... I didn't have a pokemon for the longest time." At the table Luffy perked up, there was no more food so he was now looking at the two other girls. There was something strange about them Luffy didn't quite know what it was, he shrugged it off though. "How about you sit down for a second, it would be a lot easier to talk. It is really good to see you again Jayme, Sarah." With that said Robin recalled Brook and Raz into there pokeballs and put them away.
~~~~~~~
Ampersand hadn't really cared to much about all the drama that was going on. If it was important he would have been told about it a long time ago by his employers. So now he was just looking around for his childhood friend. He did see her pulling a blonde girls arm back into its socket. Grinning at the sight of his friend and wincing at the sight and popping sound of an arm going back into place. Making his way over and ignoring the other trainers wondering around to them. "Hey you two. Need any help over here?" If nothing he could help by carrying the younger crying girl to the pokemon center to rest.
Dammit, was the single thought going through Keegan's mind as he felt Mike grab him and pull him close, lacking the energy to fight back. His green eyes were wide with fear and worry, and as he looked at Mike, he knew that the voice speaking to him wasn't the boy he'd grown up with. He hit the ground, hard, hearing the telltale rip as one of the sleeves of his jacket was torn clean off and he knew that any other day, under any other circumstances, he would have flattened Mike in seconds. "I told you not to go..." he said quietly, still laying in a heap on the ground. "I warned you... I was afraid something like this would happen..." It was as though a different person altogether had emerged from the place where Keegan lay, and as he slowly sat up to look at Mike, his expression was one of guilt, and regret, though it seemed he was talking to himself. "I should have done more to stop you. I shouldn't have let you go alone... I..."
The shrill scream coming from Kasiya snapped him out of it and he looked over at the girl clinging to Cynthia. Apparently Mai had really hurt her or something. His head was pounding, and the rest of his body ached like he'd been hit by a train, a bus, and trampled by a stampede of Tauros all within the last fifteen minutes. He somehow got to his feet again, though he knew the next time he hit the ground he wouldn't be getting back up for quite some time. He looked once more towards the people who lingered, wanting to say something, anything, but words failed him. "I've gotta go," he mumbled finally, slowly starting to wander off in a random direction. He had no idea where he was going, but he had to get out of there. ===== Miharu winced as her Bulbasaur took the Psybeam head on, and she knew that the Seed Pokemon wouldn't be able to last much longer. "You can do it, Lily!" she cried encouragingly. "Finish off that ghost with a Razor Leaf!" She'd been friends with the Bulbasaur for quite some time now, and she knew the Pokemon was tough, though the thought of evolution rarely occurred to her. Yes, Tingle had evolved as well as both Aska and Sparkle, but somehow the idea of the cute little Bulbasaur changing her form was unnatural. Either way, Miharu wanted this badge, and she wasn't leaving Ecruteak until she got it. We can do this, Miharu thought, gulping a bit, though when she saw the leaves fly through the air and strike the Misdreavus.
Morty frowned when he saw the attack hit, and the ghost wavered in the air before she drifted to the ground, unable to continue battling. "Misdreavus is unable to battle," called the referee, the Screech Pokemon's image fading to grey on the board. "You did well, Misdreavus," Morty said calmly, recalling his Pokemon. "But we're not done yet." He couldn't remember the last time he'd been down two Pokemon and had yet to take out one of the opponents, but these next two were far tougher than both Gastly and Misdreavus. "Haunter, let's go!" he called, sending out his third Pokemon. "I'm not through yet! Haunter, Shadow Punch!"
For the duration of the events that transpired, Kirsa felt like there was a wall separating her from the other trainers; she was from Johto, and while she remembered reading about the Lilycove incident, it did not affect her like it was affecting some of the others, the ones obviously from Hoenn; she had only met Mike briefly during the party, and while she had briefly hung out with Kilik, and thought they were both nice young men, the information Giovanni so gleefully revealed about them did not send her into a fit of emotion. Kirsa did little more than stand silently next to Sasha, frowning just a little as she watched everything go down.
If only her father hadn't made her leave her gun at home. This entire thing could have been solved in a matter of seconds.
Regardless, Giovanni - whom she had not felt intimidated by in the least, perhaps because the only thing she really knew was that he was the head of Team Rocket - seemed to have accomplished his goal. Earlier during the party, Kirsa was able to tell that many of the trainers she had met were good friends. Now they were all turning on one another in an almost embarrassing display. She felt like she should intervene but what could she do? She was practically a stranger, she didn't really know any of these people. The way Mike seemed to be enjoying this entire ordeal was unsettling...but then again he had snapped but a minute or two ago, displaying his infection of crazy for all to see, so it wasn't that surprising.
A real pity she didn't have her gun.
When Mike waved at her a moment later she frowned even more - it was like he could read her mind! He knew that she had been thinking about him mere moments ago, and was now taunting her.
That simply would not do.
Kirsa glanced to Sasha, then to Kasiya, hoping neither of them would do anything foolish like try and get in the way. Keegan had walked off, he was no longer a concern, and Serenity had attempted to assault Mike earlier, it wouldn't make sense for her to turn around and try and protect him. The Cynthia woman was unknown but hopefully she, too, would keep away.
The cadet finally broke away from Sasha and strode toward Mike, keeping her gaze locked with his. The others who had tried to assault him, they had been held back by emotion, be it attachment or otherwise. But Kirsa? She had no attachment to Mike, she was not blinded by anger or hate....and she wasn't planning on beating the hell out of him unless he resisted. He was crazy, he was a danger to himself and everyone else. He needed to be locked in a room or something. There was no possible way he was going to upstage her so easily.
"...You're insane. I think you need to come with me." Kirsa stopped in front of Mike. "I suggest you do so willingly, I would hate to have to hurt you in front of your already distressed friends."
Kasiya's crying subsided a few moments later as she heard someone speaking to them, or was it to Cynthia? She pulled back from Cynthia and looked up at the man who had spoken to them. He was very handsome, or at least he was through Kasiya's blurry vision, and out of the corner of her eye she saw Keegan stagger to his feet and start to walk away. Completely forgetting about what she and Sere had planned earlier she pulled away from the Sinnoh champ. "Keegan... wait!" she called, chasing after him, though it wasn't hard since she was nowhere near in as bad condition as he was - in fact she thought it was a miracle that he was still able to walk after everything he'd been through - and his pace wasn't very fast. "Please, wait! C-can't we talk?" She ran so that she was standing directly in front of him, so that he had to stop or at least move around her. "Keegan, please... You have to know. You h-have to know that those things Mai said... th-those things, they weren't t-true! I do love you, I r-really do! I want to be with you. I want to travel with you. The b-ball. What about the ball? You... a-and me... We were going to go together. What about that? What about us?"
Kasiya could see that someone else, someone small and familiar, and with purple hair - Kirsa? - had confronted Mike now, and from the look of her she meant business. She wanted to rush back over there and help, and she silently prayed that Mike wouldn't do anything to make the situation worse as she waited for Keegan to respond to her - she knew it was a long shot but she had to try and get him to listen to her.
=-=-=-=-= Cynthia looked over at Ampersand as he approached them, though it seemed the young girl was rather desperate to try and patch things up with the redhead. "Yeah, I guess we're fine," she shrugged, shaking her head as a small girl with purple hair had approached Mike. "Okay, now this should be interesting," she murmured, moving over so that she was standing next to Amp.
"Kirsa, wait!" Sasha cried, holding out a hand in futility as she watched her friend walk calmly towards Mike. She was one of the few, if not the only one at the party, who knew just how tough Kirsa was outside of Pokemon battles. Her little friend barely broke a sweat taking on people three times her size, and that was what worried her. There was a look in her eyes as she made her way towards the now long-gone boy; the face of a solider on a mission. "Don't hurt him!" the girl wailed, tears slowly trickling down her face. What could she do? Mike was not in the most receptive of conditions right now, and Kirsa could easily push her away if she tried to get in her way. So there she was, once again, unable to do anything.
An all too familiar laugh roared from the boy as Kirsa stepped forward to challenge him. "Insane? HA-HAHAHAHA! My dear, I'm not insane, I'm enlightened." Mike replied, bending his knees until all his weight was on the balls of his feet, an intentionally insulting way to get to the girl's level. "Now that we're eye to eye on the matter." he continued, laughing at his juvenile jab at the girl. "I'm afraid I'll have to decline your generous offer my little sweetie. Why don't you go back to smooching Ms. Frenchy over there." he tilted his head to Sasha, who only lowered her head at the remark. "This is big people time now, and I'd hate for you to get in over your head." He leaned forward before letting out a high pitched taunting cackle, his next remark was frighteningly quiet. "Unless of course you'd like to see what an insane person like me is-heehee-capable of."
Even when he heard Kasiya calling his name he kept walking, though even as he tried to speed up his god-awfully slow pace she caught up with him effortlessly and blocked his path. He listened to her pleading, a small smile starting to slowly creep across his face, and he chuckled lightly, looking up at the darkening sky before he began to laugh incredulously. "Hah, nice try, Kassie, nice try. Don't you think I see what you're trying to do here? Hmm?" He shook his head and looked her over a few times. Mike had been right about one thing, at least. She still looked damned good covered in blood and dirt. "There is no us anymore," he practically spat, locking his emerald eyes with the girl's sapphire blues once more. No, I'm not going to fall for it again. Fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice...
Still wearing that maniacal grin, he chuckled again and gingerly rubbed the large bruise he knew had formed on his chest from where her elbow had jabbed him earlier. "And as for the ball," he laughed, reaching out with surprising speed and grabbing her by the shoulders, not caring that he was causing her to cry out with pain, "I'd rather take Mai." He yanked her close to him and kissed her roughly until one of them was bleeding, after which he threw her hard to the ground and continued walking, laughing heartily as he brushed his fingertips over his lips.
Kirsa narrowed her eyes, a frown tugging at her lips. The jab at her height, she could handle. She could even let the insinuation about herself and Sasha slide. But the manner in which he was speaking to her, as if she were a child...! Kirsa knew she looked younger than she really was, and her height certainly didn't help. Mike speaking down to her in such a degrading manner was not going to be tolerated. Sorry, Sasha, but your plea fell on deaf ears.
Mike had not seen her fighting the Team Rockets grunts. For all he knew, she was just some girl randomly wearing a uniform, perhaps just for kicks. Perhaps if he had known, or even thought about it, he would have leaned back. Maybe he thought that Kirsa wouldn't attack him, because Sasha begged her not to? Whatever the reason, he kept his bloodied face right in front of her own bruised one.
This was a mistake.
Kirsa leaned back just a little - the only sort of warning given as to what was coming - and then slammed her forehead into the other trainer's face.
To be honest, he was not expecting Kirsa to react outside of walking away defeated, much less to attack, and much much less to answer by headbutting him square in the face. He had only a split second to react, and turned his face, the purple haired girl's forehead hitting his nose like a cannonball. There was a sickening 'CRACK', the impact sending the boy spiraling back, the momentum throwing him to his feet. He stood there in silence for a moment before holding his hand to his nose. Ouch! It stung, and...wiggled! "Hahahaha! Splendid!" he cried out, grabbing his nose and smiling. "You my little friend, I like." Without hesitation, the boy squeezed tight and threw his hand up, the resulting blood and loud pop signaling his nose was back in its rightful place. "But I'm afraid it's like tossing a match into a volcano." he said with false disappointment. "You'll have to do better than that to hurt me. I'm different than your precious Mike." He threw up his hands and wiggled his fingers, still smiling that awful smile as blood dripped from his face.
