Simple human indecency.
Well if your wondering why I'm up at 3 a.m
It is because a series of events has left me quite paranoid.
Earlier this morning my aunt caught a rowdy bunch having absconded with out recyclables if not for the fact we shred our personal information my aunt would perhaps be in more of rut that she is now. Already holding the sickness "What If I forgot one syndrome." I myself awoke nastily to a loud bang noise on our gated door. You know the door before the door. We leave food out for strays so its a possibility that it could have been an animal ruff n tumble. Although the sound of speeding wheels after this alleged assault on our door made for an unsettling scenario, revealing otherwise. Possibly discouraged by the sound of moi's dogs barking it would only make sense for the offender to flee. The events on their own are easy to shrug off but when combined with the alleged rumor that our neighbor has seen rapscallions hoping across our fences it leaves an air of paranoia.

In short this paranoia has me setting up a long line of artillery in strategic places in my homestead. Crossbow(loaded safety on) with pointed bolts sheltered under the easily accessible bed. Rifle loaded with metallic BB's on the window sill. Martial Arts staff hidden under cabinet. Display katanas still capable of inducing heavy wounds to the left of bed. Strangely easy to weaponize hard wood paddle in the slot of the guest bed of my room. 3 Throwin Knives in the mini fridge of which I most likely will not have enough time to use. Keyblade though inefficient can be used for defensive purposes wall mounted. All these following an attack plan.

I have three entrances in my room the large window thick but plausible. The left door opposite of the crossbow and the bathroom door, opposite of the katana, power tools, and bb rifle. Entrance through the window will be slow,loud,and clunky if wielding a gun. The crossbow with 80lb drawstring can easily be armed and fired twice. If they enter the left door if using a gun I have one shot to either incapacitate or kill whilst I take cover under the large under of my bed. If lucky I may get a second shot if the bandit has slow reaction time. If coming from the bathroom entrance I arm my bb rifle and use the bed as cover as it is placed in the center of the room. I will attempt to do as much damage as I can if the bandit is using a gun.

If the bandit is using a knife. All of my artillery has a length advantage (Besides the knives which will never be a good choice unless desperate) and can deliver a good firm beating. Especially when you've swung them around as much as I have. rolleyes I merely apply the gun strategy to physical weaponry. If there is more than one bandit I pray to god for steady aim and that they have not only weak constitutions but are pussies deep down. If you read all this good job. Of course I could try and solve the situation peacefully if I could with reasoning but only if they sound wimpy and unsure of themselves, but adrenaline and self preservation are powerful forces.

So is killing an attacker legal within California state law if the situation clearly depicts home invasion and burglary and possible assault if not murder of it's resident (My aunt if they're the merciless kind). My aunt is elderly an white in a community surrounded by 72% mexicans that have been known to be gang bangers and criminal offenders. Basically we live in a ghetto and old people are common targets. Only thing I think thats kept us from being robbed in previous years are the dogs.

And personally I'd prefer GIMP to Photoshop, but more people use Photoshop, though.

It varies photoshop is common place. Simple and more user friendly for those who aren't really good at digital art. Also it costs money mine was free through methods of which will not me disclosed but is predictable.
GIMP I found to be more confusing than photoshop and less user friendly when it comes to saturation but its free and simple to get. However, someone with mediocre but not lacking in talent with digital art and its terminology will find it a cheap and easy alternative.

Then theres Sai. Free and for the pros in my opinion. Then again I can't judge I only used Sai for about 3minutes before I was like wtf. But A lot of digital art (mostly in the anime/manga catergories) on deviant art was made using Sai over the previous two. My thoughts are Sai is better at cell shading.
