If it was personal, they would've just hit Kate or Snow. The fact that they hit both and threatened their teams is important. Someone is up to something, and they don't want groups like the Outsiders around to find out what it is.
That don't mean you shouldn't be careful, though. The traditional follow-up to unyeilded threats is usually violence.

I'm not all that worried about my personal safety, I do know how to handle myself. At the moment I'm more curious than anything else.

It's true! It's too bad for the rest of you that I have SO MANY orange constructs and you don't have any. They make petty larceny a breeze, whatever that is.
