I lost sooo much of my small intestine. like...more than 60cm of it was completely dead. Turns out, my cyclical vomiting syndrome was creating scar tissue each time it triggered. that scar tissue killed a 50cm stretch of my small intestine (more died from the distention and clogging), and clogged it with scar tissue and other such. they found hundreds of scars and abrasions on the inside when they went to operate. So they cut it out. now my insides are inflamed... what's worse is they released me with an open, infected wound that i am supposed to clean until it gets better.... not allowed any antibiotics...they used none, either.

i hope so too.

I apologize for my lack of posting too!
I have a hole in my tummy hooked to a vacuum that i must carry around with me, and it hurts to sit for long periods.

Okay.... so on june first i started puking for the 5th time this term, in 15 minute intervals. on june 3rd, i was STILL puking so badly that i was only able to get 4 hours of sleep since i had started. I hadn't done anything up to that point, because puking that long is normal for me. However this time, the pain was increasing exponentially, instead of receding as i wretched....i was also severely dehydrated, because unlike the other times my fluid retention didn't improve on the second day... and was hospitalized and underwent an emergency bowel resection after ex-rays and a CT scan proved that about 50cm of my small intestine were completely dead, clogged, and that all of my small intestine up to that point was swollen more than 3 times it's healthy size. It turns out that my "stress condition" was caused by scaring inside my abdomen, and that not only do i puke hard enough to break blood vessels in my eyes, but i also scar my insides each time i do it. As i puke, more scars form, and cause more frequent, and more violent episodes of puking, which caused more scars, and even more frequent and violent episodes.... the surgeons say that it is likely that now that the main portion of interior scarring is removed (about 60cm of intestine :/), that i might be done having these episodes. During the hospital stay, the place they cut me open got infected, and they opened the wound up. they released me despite this.... in the proceeding week i changed the wound dressings 3 times a day every day, which was supposed to pull the infection out... but it didn't. The signs got worse, and i went back into the hospital to have them look at it. it seemed that the bacteria had eaten into my fascia, causing a small hernia. They claim that they could not fix the hernia without risking spreading the infection inside the Fascia (the wall that protects your vital organs), and that my flesh was too inflamed to hold new stitches....so they widened the wound so the dressing changes would hit some of the tunnels that had formed, gave me an abdominal binder, and sent me home again after doing a few more scans and testing. last Thursday they called me back into the hospital, because the results of those tests worried the medical team immensely...yesterday they sent me home again, with a vacuum hooked to my wound that i must keep engaged essentially 24/7. I am now plugged into a wall to keep the vacuum charging, and in intense pain due to sitting up, which causes the wound to fold painfully.... I missed finals for all of this, and because of that, i did not pass last term...so i need to do a heck of a lot of medical appeals in the hope that i can save something of my college future.....

And I dont know how long I will be online. Hopefully quite a while to post and RP some. Oh yeah, and I was thinking how quickly I could end the battle in the Front Office. But I will be nice and allow the battle to continue for more role-playing action ^_^
