I don't like iPods, they're too confusing for me. I'll stick to my mp3 players. xD

*agrees with ivel on the Apple front* Though, their technology is far better (not to mention their OS's).
Garage Band is the best program for beginners.
The "Zen" is superior to the iPod, mostly due to its adjusted price.

And their OS is NOT better, its simply has so few diverse programs it tends not to crash.
Windows on the other hand has tons of developer interest, and thus is prone to break downs through OThers programming.
And actually their technology is second-rate<.<, IMO.

The Scythe and Aquatica are nice, but the eyes are just another way to incorporate elemental hair all over again.

The ONLY reason Macs don't have as much programmer interest is because it isn't nearly as popular as Windows computers. They're simpler to use (especially for people who don't want to bother to configure everything or simply can't figure it all out), their OS interfaces are more user-friendly (though I haven't used Vista yet, so I can't speak for that), their security is ten times more effective than Windows (though admittedly some of that is because virus makers aren't targeting Macs because they're not so popular, but they're still better at security), they put a lot of effort into research and into being the first to introduce new features and technology (hey, Windows DID copy from Apple in the first place!), and generally, I just like their OS's a lot better. They're stable (Ivellias, I think you'd be surprised how well Macs can multitask!). They have nifty features. They're pretty. And they run certain programs better, like music notation software that I will someday own (Finale).

Mehhh internet fightssx.x
Anyway,
The reason they don't have programmer interest is because their is so interest in macintosh in the more heavy-duty, techno-savvy computer users.
You say that they're simpler to use, but honestly I have never been confused by Windows, it's all set up to work fine unless you need to do something specific(I.e., something to help with a 3rd party product).
Windows security is actually much better than a Mac, the difference is lack of effort to attack macintosh computers, and that most major corporations use Windows-based PC's. To be honest most of the programmers at Microsoft are pretty experienced personnel, since so many new ways to hack and/or debilitate PC's are constantly testing them, it just seems like they are lax.
The Mac OS, while stable, can't run anything, and tends to be rather roughshod doing anything none-mac-approved programming. Honestly at my store we constantly have macintosh computers being brought in because they used a program designed for mac, but not BY mac, and it killed itself, whereas most programs are actually made by completely different programmers.
Macs "nifty" features, most of them that I have seen anyway, are easily used by PC users through 3rd party software. Widgets?Yahoo has a free version for PC.
Music editing software? Audacity and a host of totally FREE, high quality programs exist for PC.
I usually hear that "oh well the movie/music industry uses MAcs more than PC's."
This is actually untrue, as in the last 4-5 years the trend has swung in favor of Windows for graphic design. While yes, King Kong(a recent, very good movie), was made almost completely on mac computers, this does not go for the entire media.
And to say that Macs are not as popular as Windows is ridiculous, since originally Apple computers DID do better, they were Immensely popular, but were turned over for Windows-run computers. Also, think of all the advertisements and commercials for Apple.
Apple as systematically, constantly, portrayed itself as the underdog, the unwanted. IT was one of the largest computer giants in the 80's, and it sucked THEN too.x.x
Yes they are pretty, but they use substandard hardware, their latest OS(OS 10) is based off of a UNIX Kernel, and they charge at least 20% over what a PC would cost for a better, more customizable computer.

You do have some valid points, though I must say that Macs are more secure, simply because they do get fewer viruses and other nasty things, despite security software ability. That may very well change sometime in the future.
And they kind of are the underdog, at least in sales.
No matter. To each their own. I have nothing against Windows, really. I'm using XP right now, and I do like it and can use it decently well. I just want a Mac someday, because I like them. :3

Well, your new avi certainly is different.
Ivel, even thought Mac doesn't have as many programs, they offer a virtual simulation toll so any Windows program will run properly. Sual-booting isn't out of the question either. wink
Also, Mac is far superior to Vista. Vista is extremely buggy and is too secure, asking you every time you want to use any program. Vista was merely a cop-off sheezy attempt at being more Mac-like.
In all reality, Macs came first. They were th first CPUs and have ALWAYS had superior hardware. If you've even used a mac, you'll see how well and smoothly it handles complex graphics, 3d rendering, and multiple programs. Becnhmarking the average Windows against the average mac results in a mac victory. It's been proven. mac does better with a unch of higher-end programs being open at once.
And I, as well, use XP (though it isn't my choice, because this is the family compy).

And I, as well, use XP (though it isn't my choice, because this is the family compy). -feels wierd abut it<.<-good or bad? Actually Vista is just you know, new. It's actually very stable, the main cause of concern is drivers, and support for things. Since everything has been using Xp for the last oh..4+ years, it'll take time for people to release patches to work on Vista. I've used Vista(I actually have it, I only use XP cause everything still runs on it) And it's quite good in my opinion, its only failing is(the same as a MAc OS right now) lack of programming. And that always pissed me off. Ok, so I'm gonna buy a mac cause its Superior to a PC. Than have it pretend its windows. Yeah. REaaaaaal spiffy and superior. Also, Dual-booting has been around for YEARS. A windows pc can run Windows, Mac OS, and Linux as well. Mac's did come first, I acknowledged that. And they tried to sue Atari for making a GUI for their own systems, and lost. They also had less than superior hardware then too. I HAVE used macs, and they are slow, clunky, and hard to repair. They absolutely reject against anything other than specific, close-minded Mac software and hardware, use less than top of the line for a higher price tag. I've honestly tried to find one good thing Mac has over a Windows or Linux--based system, and I can't find one. Not a Single thing. Because anything the Mac could do, a Windows or Linux can do. Video editing? I can give you 30 different programs that run from free to expensive, high end Hollywood level graphic programs, the same goes for music. I would like to see these proven facts, since having physically used both, with many varying models and types, I prefer Windows and PC based computers over Mac. And don't get me started on Ipods!..-mumbles-OO lets slap a harddrive on to a crappy, screen-less plastic stick and sell it for 100$ more than anything else on the market, cause people think more $= better. Oh and better yet, lets make it so you can ONLY use a really annoying, buggy piece of Macintosh software that just can't wait to mess your windows based PC up and delete your music files. (which, by the way, happens quite a lot. At my job, we constantly have people coming in for repairs, since Itunes likes deleting anything not bought through Itunes in the music folders its set to look into you when you update its software.
