Have you tried changing your drop menu from Normal to Emotions?
On a completely unrelated note, I pulled out all my old Halloween Event Gear for another month of Candy, Joy, and Weird Costumes! cat_pirate (even though it's too much trouble to put together a good one right now...)

TheRob Are your new emotes working or did you have to type that manually? Mine haven't worked in maybe like a week or so. confused Like Zel said, there's a drop-down list here right above the normal emotes. 3nodding

Lol, I'm the one who first posted to you guys about the new emotes being in guilds on the other page. I even posted all the possible emotes. blaugh My dropdown box is blank. neutral

You might want to check your web browser then. I'm using Firefox 7 (I think) and it works just fine for me.

I have an airbed and a yippy dog who might try to sneak in bed with you, but it's not too bad!

Blu, also, I just noticed the Japanese stuff and bought a few things. I also saw you had some of those items...and more! How did you get the pink cherry tree and pink geisha fountain and outdoor bar? I don't have the options to obtain such things. ninja
Also, I better not get screwed out of the hot springs like I was screwed out of the hockey stadium. mad

You need to click on the Japanese button (in the lower right corner) as soon as you log in to the game and click away the crap that always pops up. Do not collect any profit or do any thing else, go straight to that button. When you scroll back and forth through the Japanese themed items it should give you more options. If you go do something else and then go back a bunch of the options disappear and you need to reload the game. I figured this out after going to someone else's island to scare away a shark and then going back to find the items gone. I spent real monies on the fountain, hotel, and the tree. =/ If you click on the tree there is a play button in the middle of the options. Click the play button to have cherry blossom petals fall across the screen. I just want the mountain and maybe the cherry blossom parade. Those are the only two items I haven't gotten yet. The mountain seems to be being offered for a limited time in the upper left hand side of the screen. I don't really want to spend more monies because I need to pay my rent, but I may throw a few more bucks in for the mountain. neutral Edit: Forgot about that 5 tiered pagoda. Not sure if I'll get that too. Rather have the mountain.

Also, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr @ a bunch of stuff costing real money and being offered for a limited time. Even if I got it all and they keep adding new stuff each month, I'm eventually going to run out of room on the island to display everything. It'll be like my Gaia avatar where I don't get the donation letters each month because I can't display all these items even if I made a thousand mules! burning_eyes

TheRob How much are the profits for the pier? ninja $2500 every four hours. $500 increase for a level up using 4 piastres. I have not bothered to level up because I want to use my piastres for other stuff.
