Robert Reynolds Linda Park West * grabs a beer and sits next to Robert* Here's to boredom, eh Linda? Let's hope Wally is as fast at interviewing as he is at everything else. Bah! Doubt it. He's got to much of an ego for that. If I walked outta here right now he wouldn't even notice.

Seems eerily reminiscent of Identity Crisis to me. Pregnancy for shock value death and monkeying with Barry. What's the deal with DC writers and screwing with the Silver Age (or any continuity older than ten years)?

I highly doubt that anyone could ever ignore you Linda, but if that were to happen I would be sure to remind him for you. wink

My theory is that Johns and colleagues love the Silver/Golden age, but have this desire/need to 'update' and 'fix' it to be hip and modern.

Sounds like telling your mother how to dress if you ask me. So if the Flash isn't doing it for you these days, what (comic) is?

Mostly I've been reading trade paperbacks that catch my eye. LOTS of Silver Age (Supergirl, Zatanna, the "Crisis" trades), and the Waid Fantastic Four series. Also, I've been reading She-Hulk and Mark Waid's "Legion of Superheroes" reboot.

I've been hearing more and more rumblings from fans that DC is headed for another "Crisis". Would you welcome Constantine dragging ol Swampy around while heroes die again, or is there a better solution for the state comics are in?
