It's hard to believe that I've been out of school for almost 5 years. Well, 7 if you want to count just regular college.

Does it seem like yesterday you just got out of high school? It still feels like I just walked the line out of there.

I've finally admitted to myself that I've worked myself to almost crashing and burning the past three years. Deadlines, exams, stress, punctual, etc, and the bs. I hung out with my girlfriend and her friend for a few minutes and it was really nice. It's made me realize that I need a break. I need to lay down in the grass and look at the clouds. Go to the beach and listen to the waves crash and the sun blinding. I need to remember there is a world without always being perfect. I need to be able to forget the life of homework for a few minutes.

I am pretty terrified though. This means I have to face uncomfortable things. I have to learn to move on and I don't want to.

I talked it over with my mom and a few other people and I've decided to take Physics at a community college with this professor who has a great reputation for teaching Physics 100A. With the Human Sexuality class that I'm taking in the first three weeks, I'll have one week after that class and one week after the physics class as a break. No break between Spring finals and the May Intersession course.

I guess I'll try and have as much fun as I can. If I start picking up the pace a little, I can try and graduate in 6 years. By taking this course in the summer and Physics B next summer and finishing my minor next semester, I can at most graduate in 6 and a half years.

Ah yes, the 6.5 year track. Had several friends on that.

Ends justify the means.

If I took Calculus II and Physics B next summer then I may be able to graduate in six years.

I'm fine with going to school that much and Sami is coming around but I'm worried that I'm not spending enough time taking care of myself.

I also snatched part of your signature if that's ok? It looks professional. I finally took down the Vegas meet. It would be nice but I doubt it would happen this summer, considering. The crash course in Human Sex isn't all that bad but I'm planning to go do missionary work one weekend in Mexico and run a 1/2 marathon for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society the next weekend (two day event) and the class is only three weeks. The week off if I don't get called in (which I need the money for bills in October) I'll probably see some friends I haven't seen in years now.

Yeah, no problem. My summer is booked as well. It'd be fun having a get together, but sadly, I would imagine it'd actually just be us two. Or three if Chalda was dragged along.

Something better would be to have lunch or dinner outside at downtown disney sometime. We typically go down there every thanksgiving, so we could schedule something easily.

It's always important to take care of yourself. Just remember, life doesn't get any easier after college.

Yeah, we could do that. As long as it's not on Thanksgiving Day itself we could do that. You're probably right, many people are really busy and have gotten out of touch.

I try and do as much as I can but with this nonstop migraine it's made another semester hard. Would you take a break? I'll still be taking a three week may intersession class.

I played the piano for the first time in years and I really want to try and learn the piano and guitar if I have time. It's so much easier than the hardcore studying and so peaceful to be able to do something like that.

Piano and guitar are nice. Already know the piano, learning the guitar just on my spare time. Weird cause now I have 5 guitars, and can't really play much on them.

Joined a leadership academy at school to learn a few things and see what they have to offer. It seems to be not all that bad but they keep saying you get four semesters to finish it so it sounds a little harder than I'm probably assuming. Hopefully, I will learn a lot for the future.

Also going to start an Honor Society at CSULB for biology majors to try and liven the science community. I got an official list of all the clubs, societies, and fraternities at Cal State and there isn't anything for science. Nothing for math, chemistry, physics, or biology. But we have a myriad for liberal arts.

I have a meeting with the Student Life coordinator so I can sign my life away to the school. I'm going to create the website this summer and try and sign up for week of welcome maybe to get the word out. Possibly a bunch of business cards and a lot of letters to induct people in. My main goal is to start a legacy at long beach, one that strengthens all the science programs, if not just biology. Maybe my society will spark an interest in other people to start other science related things and/or make people try harder so they can get in. Trying harder = higher GPA = more people from our school getting into graduate schools.

I'm also on the board for MAPS, a pre-health club. Very legit and organized, it's one of the best clubs that I've seen. Runs very efficiently and I'm excited to be apart of it.

Other than that, just studying for the next two days straight for my biology final. Hoping for the best and then I'll finally be able to work on my migraines (or whatever they are, I have numbness on my whole left side).

Oh, I also write for a blog and I'm going to try and get my first post up sooner than later. Of course, waiting until finals are over. I collected all the data for the last two weeks though.

Basically, I've done a lot since April. smile And Sami and I three year anniversary was on the 16th. We're celebrating this Sunday because of finals.

Hi, I just felt like comming to see what my old LI friends were up to...
I don't know if you remember me (and it doesn't matter if you don't), but I sure remember you guys and I'm glad to know that most you you haven't left Gaia or something.

Sooo, that's it. Nothing much to say about myself, I'm in college now and just happy with my life in general.

Nice to see you again whee

Glad to see that you're doing well in life. Even though we all eventually grow up, we can look back at the road on which we traveled.
