I also play Elysian D-99, Death Korps siege company, specialist lists that I doubt you have seen or read.

Indeed, though at worst I could reference Mort, he has a copy of those, I think.
Anywho, Chaos?

Two words: Daemonic Possession
At a cost of -1 to BS and a bonus of ignoring all Shaken and Stunned results, I can say that this is one of the best current upgrades on any tank.

Then again, you also had Mutated Hull [Y'know, back when Chaos had this amazing thing called Superiority over Space Marines] and Parasitic Possession. Chaos has lost too much flavor. And it shows. They could bother to put in the Legions, but they could make a novel out of the Space Marine codex?

Oh yeah. God forbid that I field a 14-12-11 Predator that ignores Shaken, Stunned, and (on a 4+), Immobilized or Weapon Destroyed.
Given, that Predator would cost a hell of a lot of points, but it could kill s**t dead! And it was survivable!
It makes me the most mad that you can't take aligned Dreadnoughts anymore, mostly because I miss my Blast Master armed, I5 Dreadnought

Chaos lost the ability to be Chaos. True, they were hard to beat, but I play Marines, Tau, and Chaos. I could beat Chaos armies at thier prime. I only had one problem with the old book. Monstrous princes with friggin Dreadaxe. No saves? Mean. @@
Current book lost a lot of uniqueness. Sadly, it also lost another important thing. Balance.
Sides, dammit, I am sick of paying 40 damn points to put ONE heavy nasty weapon of doom in a squad. I pay more than a Havoc does for a Lascannon. If you look, it should be cheaper for being in an ordinary squad. >< That and I'm sorry, we didn't need the toughness dropped AGAIN on obliterators. 5 to 4(5) to 4. What the hell? and why are we STILL paying 75 damn points?
Come on people. this is rediculous.

It makes me the most mad that you can't take aligned Dreadnoughts anymore, mostly because I miss my Blast Master armed, I5 DreadnoughtI miss my "Band" arrangement. Take a 6 man Havoc squad in the last book. Make them elite by adding the mark of Slaanesh. Give all 4 Autocannons, then upgrade to Blastmasters (aka base rythmn section.) Take the odd man, give him a sound blaster. (aka guitar.) Take the leader, give him whatever toys for playing with people you want, and a Doom Siren. (musician.) Mix this with my second elite choice being Khorne berserkers, and there's my Mosh pit. Finally, take a squad of thousand sons to ring in the band. (usually cause I'd be running a Tzeentch as my commander.) They're the stagehands/guards. Now THAT is a party. Add in his dreadnought for added meanness, and don't forget the Rhino with the negative leadership effect (forgot the name) as your bandwagon. That was my version of having fun. the rest was differing depending on mood, but the leader of the army was NEVER slaaneshi. I liked having 3 heavy support AND a havoc squad. Note this army was the only army in my location to even scratch an eldar rapid deploy force shortly after the eldar book was introduced.

Uhm...only problem is that you'd only be able to play four heavies like that if you were playing an Iron Warriors list. On that, though, I believe that Iron Warriors were Undivided by rote. Therefore, no three heavies + Slaaneshi Havoks.

Hi everybody, I'm just started an Iron Warriors army to side my 1500 points of 'crons. I'm planning to expand my IW forces and was wondering which is better point for point Terminators or Obliterators?

The Black Messiah Hi everybody, I'm just started an Iron Warriors army to side my 1500 points of 'crons. I'm planning to expand my IW forces and was wondering which is better point for point Terminators or Obliterators? termys. im an IW player as well. and a squad of termys with reaper autocannons are both useful, and fit the fluff for the IW (they tend to use machine instead of deamons) i would also advise getting a predator, LR and a vindicator or 3

yeah, they are good "Mates" with the oblitorators, however, with oblits being nerfed both in the newer dex, and again in 5th ed. they arnt worth taking in your main army anymore

They removed a good bit of their weapons [mainly the solid slugs], lowered their toughness from what was once 5 to 4(5) until the current 4, and they are less attacks as well if I remember right [this point I'm not sure on].
