I think that's nonsense that you should only be limited to using Rai barriers for all your attacks. You should make up your own lightning attacks considering you're going to be the one who teaches Rai next.
I'm not even thinking about the growth right now.
Tier didn't know any Mizu attacks until he was made teacher of it. I'm going to be making up different ways of attacking/teaching with Mizu regardless of past "in character" knowledge.
I know this sounds like cutting corners, but at this point we're in a special situation where, really, no one is going to keep up with the knowledge of everyone's character. How the Sensei's came to know this and that, it's not important.
You're the only one who's on the Academy's side (besides Reeve who didn't want to teach "in character") who can use Rai. So it's time you made up your own rules as of this point. You have permission to do it. Daizing is gone and its time to adapt with this special circumstance.
In the RP we're outnumbered as it is. I don't think its unfair to have this upgrade, do you?

this looks very familiar.. We need to work on this really guys, cause i practically had the same arguement with yah not even a year ago... H4x has some good points. Whats the point in explaining things when they are just going to be pushed aside? We dont work on these "abilities" or our characters for the details to be ignored at all. I moved to Neks rp cause i was told i wouldnt be able to use the Hikari element cause it was a too powerful element and easy for people to godmod with. I want to point out that i have not even attempted to god mod, and that none of my past students did either. I wrote out in detail what was happening and i was ignored too, and ive been the hikari dojo sensei for freakin YEARS.
Neko plays fair. Its not about whether or not his characters are learning or anything, he just looks at the rp realistically, which i think needs to happen more. If you dont read the details of an rp then theres no point in trying to rp. I havent run into this problem with anyone recently. But id like to point out that if your going to throw some ones name around then you need to actaully know what they are doing.
Tier tell me whats condradicting about Neks and Ishis rp? We changed the time frame because H4x was right, by the time you caught up with the days we were on it would be months down the line, and if we want to continue to rp then we have to be able to interact with the rest of the group..
I dont know about anyone else, but the reason while nek and i are able to post so much is because we comunicate outside of the rp.

All I did was agree with what H4X said about the days being messed up.
You're taking it personally, too. I wasn't throwing around Nekojiri's name, I even said "This next part I'm assuming". I didn't say it as fact.

yes i take it personally because when i asked what was going on last year i was practically told i would be kicked out and my character would be killed cause the light element was no longer welcome in the GNA. Ive been active so id like some sort of respect. Ive worked years on my character so i do like her and dont like the idea that some one would ignore her abilities and kill her just because they didnt like the element. Im not saying you did this, im just saying that yes, when it comes to my character it is personal because she is mine. Just like your character is yours and im sure you wouldnt like some one to tell you they were going to kill your character and you couldnt do anything about it.
I see that you agree, and i was confused on what you had said before, that was my mistake. I misread and owe you an apology for that.
Anyways, i just dont want it to end up where the training Nek and i are doing wont be recognized when we all rp together again because of the whole messed up days thing.

Ishi a large part of it is that you two are just you two, I told you that before over IM. You guys aren't being attacked since Neko's lab is somewhere we'd have no explanation on why we found it if we wanted to attack it. We have to deal with attacks however, ones which pull all of us in at a thread for a month or so on average with group fights.
I'm sorry this is blowing out of hand Tier.
I understand the blank Check offer there for her learning Rai, but it's something that honestly we should have discussed before it would undermine the character. sweatdrop It isn't really fair to do a time skip explanation at this place and time either. With the circumstances as they are the offer is very tempting to just give Lina the reasoning, but it's not the heart of the problem. The only thing that would allow me to do is say that my basic Rai isn't absorbed. Rai breaks down to three forms, Magnetics, pure, and the barrier, which seems more like telekinesis instead of a hybrid of pure rai and magnetism or whatever we say it is..
The other issue still boils down to the fact that I can't be allowed to make up techniques. I don't trust myself to come up with fair concepts, likewise I don't trust the concepts I come up with to not be abused if we get Rai students.
Magnetism always returns to the concept of pulling the metal out of someone's blood for me.

I don't even think I said anything like that.
We never said anything about not recognizing your training just because some days were messed up. I don't know where you're gathering your conclusions from. This is being blown out of proportion.

Again I am reminded of the major flaw of GNA: Lack of a defined universe.
Anyway, this whole thing about Neko and you guys. Since you are both so familiar with him it seems downright obvious to me to talk to him OOC to work out who should post next and when. Common sense.
Is there anything else that is still on the table for discussion?

as i said, it wasnt you. You were not the one that did that to me. You havent shown me that disrespect.
i drew conclusions that gave me answers. Im sorry but theres been times that ive been told that things wouldnt be recognized and was afraid it would happen again. Thank you for saying it wouldnt and im sorry for thinking that things would happen the way they did before.
Yah Lina i have no clue the agreement thats with the lab other then it moves all the time. Its not my area of expertise i just rp in it. lol

I guess my argument is dropped since it seems there's no real method I can see to solving the blanket Rai issue aside from me just starting to say it didn't stick as they said if it comes down to it.
edit: A list of known Rai techniques from anyone who's character knows them would be helpful in defining our universe here though. As I know it right now over half the Rai element is being negated by the one liner bits so I need something to use as a basis on why that wouldn't work, beyond just me saying it didn't work for no reason.

Uhhm, also can someone fix the list of Kage ranked individuals in Rai? Ishi's not one, and you said Kansou wasn't either right?

Ok just to clear things out:
This is my first roleplay ever,
I'm only playing for say, three months,
This is my first RP fight ever, and I can't even speak English properly.
And I must say that I have difficulty in understanding and interpreting some posts, sorry for that.H4X She managed to deflect both paws with her barrier shielded fists and a second later headbutted the creature's lower jaw. A barrier that might leak some electricity being formed to protect her from the shock.
A larger barrier, airtight formed to sever what had been formed creature from the remaining smoke. Her full rai armor formed inside the barrier with a reversed charge.
Like this post, (which seemed to be an important one later on) I just didn't understand what just happened. especially the last part. That's totally my fault ofcourse and I apologize.
And just as Tier says, Ookamimaru get this strong only once in a month, the rest of the month he is now only capable of blowing tiny gusts of wind that maybe can cause that a butterfly gets blown away, just to say.

Basically your minion wasn't fully formed. She made a barrier to keep it from re-forming any more then it had. The outer barrier was reversed charge so basically she was using more then twice the amount of Rai to protect the others while electrocuting something that still just re-formed anyway.
The very last part, Rai armor, is like a suit of armor made of Rai that doesn't leak electricity unless detonated, or at least it's spelled out like that to me, meaning it's like that now.
I'm sorry about it, I guess it's not fair to be dragging you into an argument that's been going on with me for a while here. sweatdrop It's just, it seems rude to say that an element, the only one someone's actually trained in due to more past issues with getting a second sensei, is deemed unusable by one post.

Tier Krahe And by the way (this is for everyone), there's no reason to rush your posting when you're in a fight. You might end up confusing the other person in the process when you're in a rush. No one's going anywhere and you won't be skipped. Take your time.
