Ohhh, yeah, I guess we're not doing that one. It was annoying and pointless.
And I already answered that on MSN. Tertiary is Greg's fancy way of saying secondary, or branch element. Possibly the third, I dunno. That one word is probably gonna stump most of the genin on that question.
1. of the third order, rank, stage, formation, etc.; third. 2. Chemistry . a. noting or containing a carbon atom united to three other carbon atoms. b. formed by replacement of three atoms or groups. 3. ( initial capital letter ) Geology . noting or pertaining to the period forming the earlier part of the Cenozoic Era, occurring from 65 million to 2 million years ago, characterized by the development and proliferation of mammals. 4. Ornithology . tertial. 5. Ecclesiastical . noting or pertaining to a branch, or third order, of certain religious orders that consists of lay members living in community (regular tertiaries) or living in the world (secular tertiaries).

Don't worry Kage, you make a good genin. I mean, you'll do fine! I assume you're using your RPC from Kumo, and she's been around plenty long enough to train up. But then, so have a lot of the others... Well, you'll do fine. XD

Gregar828 Duck? Kaze? ANYONE? Come on, you're village was placed under attack to PROMOTE ACTIVITY, not breed inactivity. And who knows, you might get something cool for your RPC if you fight (BIG HINT) unless it's a nap, then i'm going to just make sure the genin don't fight....(the brand news ones like lana and Rue)

Dude, is it really THAT hard? First=Primary, Second=Secondary, Third=Tertiary. Come on, we've used that term since the beginning of the guild!

That's completely inhibiting the RP, and doing exactly the opposite of what I am trying to promote. Please tell me you aren't serious.

But how many people actually know the meaning of the word? I think that's what he was having trouble with.
@Kage: Character development is almost as valuable in battle as techniques. You know how your character will react to things much better than a newer RPC will, so you can do everything much more efficiently.
Not to mention a solid character will likely be a factor in the judging. Even if a fighter wins the final round of the chuunin exam tournament, if their character has no solidity to it, they're not likely going to be promoted.

I didn't think it was THAT uncommon of a word. I've referred to the third element as a tertiary element more than once.

You make the mistake of thinking I don't know what I'm talking about, and I'm getting tired of it. Don't make that mistake again.

Martin: Yes, just Greg and Luo xd . No biggie, it's not like they're epic at rping or anything rolleyes .[/sarcasm]
Gregar: That... is a very good reason, actually.... I never really thought of doing something like that nor have I seen anyone do something like that.... At least, not on purpose....
Hinote: I guess that is true. Although, I've never found myself consciously making strategies that benefit my character's personality. The personality either doesn't matter or keeps the strategy from even being thought of in the first place stare .... Oh, and I know the meaning of tertiary 4laugh .
