Echo looked away, "It...it's easier...then blaming you....then having you blame yourself...Miguel...put me down...and look at me."

Miguel stopped, and slowly let her off him. he placed her in front of him. "alright. what...?" he didnt say it as if being rude, but just with an undertone of being mad at himself still.

Echo looked right into ihs eyes, "I'm not worth saving Miguel. I've killed many humans." her own eyes watered, "I've murdered women...children...young men that just wanted to protect their family. Young...old...it didn't matter. I did anything to keep them out of my forest." she felt guilt...it was an oddsinsation, "The boy...the insain one...I most likely murdered his entire family. Now can you look at me and still say you love me? Knowing this now? I...." she bit her lip and looked away. She couldn't stand him looking at her now, "I...murdered a small boy right infront of you when we first met....How can you say you love me?"

Miguel was silent for a moment. then, he spoke, sort of quietly. "maybe im just a strange individual..." he shrugged, then shook his head. "but... you were doing your duty. you may not have thought of it like that... but you were." he still had a serious face. "its in your..." he cought himself, "its in our natures. we're..." he paused, "our peoples are enemies. thats just how war works..." he shrugged again. "thats how..."

Miguel was, again, silent at first. he then spoke, completely seriously. "look... if youre trying to convince me to stop loving you... just tell me you dont want anymore to do with me... and leave... i wont follow you, and ill try to forget about your existance." he paused, then continued. "its as simple as that..." he wasnt really happy saying this. in fact, he loathed himself for saying it. but, he felt that if it was better for her to forget him, then so be it.

Miguel cringed slightly, really hating himself now. "s***... that came out wrong..." he muttered. "look..." he took a step closer. "im sorry..." he put his hand on her shoulder. "i..." he paused, trying to think of what to say. "regardless of anything youve done... i... i love you..."

(dang. this storyline progressed quite fast. sweatdrop now Im being referred to as insane boy? agghhh writers block.) Zane started walking into the town nearby. He needed someone to hunt and the pub usually had posters. He looked on the wall of the pub as he entered. There was a poster on the wall. It looked familiar to Zane.
