Aura takes his first step into the asylum, looking around slowly and curiously, then looking over his shoulder at Rick. "This place... What is wrong with it, aside from insane people living here?" He shudders slightly, then shakes his head, narrowing his eyes and standing up straight. He would NOT let the vibe of this place scare him off.

Rick followed him in. "Hm?" He was used to the vibe, and hence forgot about it. "Oh the creepyness? A lot of people died here, so death kinda lingers around. It tends to give a lot of people the heeby geebies. i wouldn't worry about it, you'll get used to it eventually. If you can feel that vibe, then ou know everything's alright. If you can't, there's usually troubble." He said witha nod, leading him down various halls, looking for a few doors in particular.
As one must be reminded, each anthro likes to.. personalize their cell door, or else they'd never be able to find their cell again, the doors tended to be identicle unless you was a special case and needed a specially designed one. Blazin was one of them, as it became obvious as Rick stopped outside a door made of solid gold, one of the few metals that wouldn't melt when Blaze got mad. It was the cheapest of them, put it that way. opposite this gold door, was a normal metal door, witch was coated in ice and frost, it was almost clear who lived behind that one. but anyway
Taking in a deep breath, Rick knocked on the door, hoping to god that Blaze was in a "good" mood for a change.
Eventually a bright orange fox opened the door. His hair was jet black and shortish, with red and orange flashes through it. He raised an eyebrow at them, before just walking back in the cell without a word, leaving the door open to allow themselves in. He wasn't very sociable.

Aura glances at the icy door for a moment, waiting for Rick to enter the room first. Since he didn't know this Blaze, anthro, he would have to trust that Rick knew how to talk to him.

Rick followed aura in, feeling a little awkward, they didn't have much of a good history either.. Rick purposly liked to annoy this guy just to be roasted alive.. he had a strange hobby.
"Um.. hey Blae, Are you in a talking mood today?" He asked with an awkward grin, sweatdropping at the heated glare he got. "Well.. uh.. I just wanted to ask you about the pheonix curse..."
"What about it." the fox replied sharply, his golden eyes not leaving the skunk's. "I'm not killing you again no matter how much you piss me off." he said before looking away. his voice was.. odd.. like it wasn't real. It was obviously made in an an-natural way somehow.

Aura looks from Rick to Blaze and back again. "Actually, I was the one that asked Rick to bring me here... I wanted to know... Besides the sun dieing off, what is the only other way that Rick would die and stay dead? I need to know so that we can make sure it won't happen unless Rick really desires it... I know it sounds like a stupid reason, but I wouldn't want one of his usual deaths to be his last one. I've kind of grown attached to him." He said, looking down at his feet.

Blazin looked at the frog-mer with a raised eyebrow, before englulfing in flames and torching Rick. The flames didn't seem to hurt the skunk, for once, and strangely enough also seemed to ingulf invisible wings. Blazes own firey wings growing from his own back. Only.. Ricks clothes wasn't inflamable like Blazes, so quickly roasted. "Eh.. So it is the pheonix curse.. not just some immortality thing.." He deflamed them both, throwing cloths at the now nakid Rick. "Technically it wont be the last time he dies. it'll just kill him and his immortality.. so the time he dies after that would be his last... But.. I can't tell you how to break the curse.. Only if you want to become mortal again." He said, folding his arms up.

Aura yelps as the flames engulf Rick, then he blushes and looks away, since Rick hadn't put his new set of clothes on yet. "Ah... So you'll only tell us if Rick decides he wants to be mortal... I'm sorry we wasted your time, then." He bows slightly to the fox anthro, glancing over at Rick, since he wasn't sure what exactly Rick wanted from his life.

Rick quickly pulled his clothes on, looking at the floor. "Then.. I guess I'll just become mortal." He looked up again, and smiled weakly at Aura. "Most things will have to come to an end anyway.. and the most challenging thing in life is having a time limit.."

Aura's eyes widen as he looks up and stares at Rick. "I thought you had wanted to remain as you were for awhile longer. Why make this drastic a decision if you don't have to, Rick?" He asked, looking from Blaze back to Rick.

"Hey.. I just want to be a mortal now..I actually have the chance to become normal again... if I can't kill myself any more maybe i will have less reason to be a masochistic psychopath." He said with a nod.
"Hmm.. nope you could still be a Masochistic Psychopath.. just not such an extreame one.. You jsut wont be suicidal anymore." He folded his arms and shut his eyes. "Besides.. it's not your choice if you become mortal or not." He opened an eye at Aura. "It frog-boy there's choice."

Aura blinks, looking back at the fox. "Why is it my choice? It's his life on the line, isn't it? If it is what he really really wants, then I'm all for it."

"Well.. I can take the curse off of him now... but you see.. You have to do something for it.. and there's a risk.. of your own life. There's a 50% chance that you could die doing the task." He said giving a strange look.
"WHAT??? Uh uh, no way am I doing it if he could die!" He protested, glaring at Blaze.
"Fair enough.. I just thought I'd tell you the fine print before you decided to go along with this.. Guess you'll have to wait for the sun to blow up."

Aura thinks for a minute, then looks back up at Blayze. "Go for it. It'll give Rick what he most wanted, a way out of the curse, and it'll complete my promise of helping him get what he wanted." He nods, sticking with his decision.

Rick Stared at Aura "Wh-what?? No! You can't!" He panicked slightly. "Are you crazy???" Aura could lose his life doing this, where as he could do it and even if he dided he could try again another time.. why was this??
Blaze stepped over to Aura, putting a hand under his chin. "Really? My, that is noble of you." He looked over at Rick. "I hope you appreciate what your friend is doing for you, considering the odds.." He said, stepping back and clenching a fist, it igniting into flames. "The task is to stand still." He said, narrowing his eyes before aiming the firey punch wait for Aura's heart.
There was a cracking sound, and a bit of a thud as Rick couldn't let Aura do this and got in the way of the other, finding Blaze's fist throgh his chest. It had gone straight through the bone into his heart, and was cooking it in the heat. Blood dripped from his mouth. "You b*****d... there's no way that wouldn't kill him.." He choked, glaring at Blazin.
Blaze leaned forward, knowing that the skunk would likely die as soon as he removed his hand. "The 50% chance of him living rested on if you decided to get in the way or not." He said in a hushed tone, before pulling his hand out've Rick, the skunk falling to the floor.

Aura drops to his knees beside Rick, pulling the Skunk's head into his lap. "Why did you do it, Rick?" He asked, cupping his hands over Rick's chest, trying to stop the bleeding. "You weren't supposed to get in the way.... I was willing to take the risk if it gave you what you wanted..." He was crying now as he looked down at Rick.
