Antony frowned when she saw that Awen was sneaking out and leaving this wonderfully accented cigarette stealer at her disposal. She leaned back in her chair and raised an eyebrow at him, crossing her legs and shifting in her chair.
"Antony," she murmured through a drag of her smoke, watching him curiously, "You?"
Yes, please talk, she thought to herself, Talk lots~.

He leaned in, snagging hte cigarette back to take a long pull, "Call me Billy, lass." The smoke curled about their faces befor he handed it back, "Bu' I gotta' jet. Things t'see an' things t'do an' th'like. Ciao," In an attempt to be suave, he gave her a mock solute befor swaggering out the doors.
Another quick fix. Homan, homan, was this island brilliant! Alright, so the fashion seemed a bit odd, what with the animal motifs, but hey. When in Rome... maybe he'd find himself a set of cat ears.

Antony blinked, glancing to the spent cigarette with some irritation, hmph-ing softly as he swaggered out the door.
Only then did she slouch into her seat, melting into the chair with a sigh. People with accents like that belonged in her bedroom pleasing her. Maybe after this one showered, she'd let him.
Or something like that.
Smirking to herself, she waited a bit before heading out as well, putting her trash and dishes away before strolling back to her duplex.
She had almost forgotten about the tails...

New RP
Slowly Amaya made her way from her duplex and quietly walked to the cafeteria. After her third transformation, she felt like she was even more of an outcast then most of the other people who had started changing. Not only did she loose her hair but she was the furthest progress, save for Colche. And you had to admit, the girl was just totally adorable. Her on the otherhand... she was just... a monster.
Not many of her clothes fit her anymore, so she had been passing the time altering them for her large hands, feet, tail, and the spikes that ran down her spine. She wore a black hat with ear flaps on it, though more for the heat then the fashion sense. It gave her a sense that she still had hair. Aside from her ever-present silver locket, she wore a cut off black tank top that was loose enough to allow her spikes enough room in the back and a pair of very baggy red jeans that were worn low on her hips and held up by a belt just under the large base of her tail.
Approaching the cafeteria she peeked inside and found that no one was around. Good. Pushing open the double doors, she didn't dare make eye-contact with the lunch lady and instead went directly to the food. She planned to stock up and take some back to her room she she didn't have to keep coming back. With a tray in hand she grabbed some apples and bananas along with some fruit salad, things for a regular salad, and some scrambled eggs. She could munch on them throughout the day and the bananas and apples would probably last her a week.
Now all she had to do was grab a couple of bottled waters and then run back out before anyone else came in.

Antony had gotten used to the idea of going out with the three new appendages growing out of her lower back. Therfore, she was on her way to the cafeteria for a second time that day.
She was so preoccupied with thoughts to notice if there was anyone else in the building before she went in, but as soon as she did the woman stopped dead in her tracks.
What. The. ********. Was. That?!
Blinking was about the only thing she could do at the moment, jaw gaping and eyes wide with shock.

Even though the young girl now lacked ears, she heard the doors open and froze as well. Slowly she turned around and looked back at Antony, the woman she had only heard about and never met. From the distance, she couldn't tell she had changed as well.
But that look...
She didn't know what to do. She wanted to run and hide but... she had already been seen and there was nowhere to go, the only exit being blocked by the woman.
Her long tail twitched nervously, brushing the floor lightly before she forced herself to look back to what she was doing with a sad frown and tears brimming in her eyes.

For once in her life, Antony didn't know how to react to the situation. She couldn't even tell if this person was female or male, and that scared her.
And then she saw the frown.
s**t.
Coughing nervously, Antony tried to quickly compose herself enough to not make this poor person feel any worse about the... How she looked. "Sorry," she sighed, running a hand through her hair with a strained expression, "I didn't know anyone was in here..."
She didn't know what else to say... Or do...

"S'ok." Came her shy, very young and female voice. Amaya gathered a little more food and then went to get some bottled water. "I'll be out in a minute..." She didn't know this woman, though it seemed like she knew about the island already. That was good.
Even so, she wasn't going to stick around and make the poor woman nervous just because of her apperance. It was best if she just left.

The voice identified her as female, and Antony sighed some. At least she knew the gender of this person now.
Nodding in agreement to the girl's comment, she decided it best to cut this meeting short. Especially when the emotions from her transformation were threatening to boil over at any moment. She couldn't fathom looking as ugly as that poor girl, and to Antony, growing hair all over one's body was ugly.
"Um... Yeah..." She muttered, stepping to the side so that the lizard-girl-thing could leave as quickly as possible.
She needed a smoke.
That was one thing the tattooed woman knew would calm her down and keep her from loosing her temper at this person. She didn't deserve to be lashed out at, but if this lasted any longer, that's what would happen.
Her fingers fumbled with her cigarette and lighter, but she finally got it lit and immediately took a long drag.
Oh sweet, sweet nicotine.

The iguana girl gathered up her things and carried it in one hand, able to hold a lot since her palms were so large. She then headed for the door, her head down and her stride in some odd sort of swagger due to the tail that swayed from side to side as she walked.
"Names Amaya by the way... Sorry I bothered you." With another frown she headed out the double doors, her tail vanishing before the other woman could reply.

The moment the lizard thing left, Antony growled and closed her hands on the edge of the nearest table. For a while she simply gripped the edge, knuckles growing white with lack of blood.
All of a sudden, the tattooed woman gave a roar and uprooted the table and flipped it over agressively. Next was a chair, and it went skidding to a stop across the room after ricocheting off another table and a few chairs.
"Gods ******** damnit!" She snarled, dropping to her hands and knees as her chest heaved violently. Her red eyes glared at nothing in particular before she let her head slump down between her arms.
The s**t has hit the fan... Again.

Ian's illness had passed in relatively short order - it was only an upset of the stomach - but he hadn't left his duplex in days. In those days he had noticed that his antlers were seeming to be more brittle. Ian didn't know quite what that meant, but it couldn't be good. So today Ian had gone to the cafeteria to find it empty.
Disappointed that there was no one to talk to he grabbed an apple and a few tomatoes and left the cafeteria letting the sun wash over him. He sighed and smiled. Today it was so peaceful and he could almost forget he wasn't completely human. Almost.

The day's peace and cheer stood out in stark contrast to the shadow that emerged slowly from one of the duplexes. It was the third day, and Emerwyn felt an odd anticipation for it. She took the usual route around the village. Dodging about the shadows, hiding from the sweet rays of the sun that might warm her soul.
She had just nearly approached the cafeteria, when a figure emerged, bearing red fruit. Swiftly, she crouched down around the corner, right around where she had fallen asleep a few days ago. Ian. This was what her mind must have been warning her about. Her heart pounded fast in her chest; oh, now, now more than ever she wanted to emerge from the darkness. Now she wanted to throw herself at him, and let that be all that existed.
But still, still, she waited. And watched. Was her Ian happy now?

A slight breeze ruffled Ian's hair and he grinned giving another sigh. He could smell the salt from the water on that breeze and with it the scent of the cafeteria food.
While alone in his duplex, after being alone in the wild for so long, he had found an inner peace. He had accepted who he was and he had accepted what he was. He walked quietly back to his duplex and sat down leaning against the outer wall to enjoy his food.
He was Ian Campbell, not Cernunnos. Ian.
He took a large bite letting the tomato juice drip down his furry chin. This island wasn't bad at all, in fact, it had been just what he had wanted his entire life. Peace.

Emerwyn sighed as Ian walked away, and stealthily rose to follow. Swiftly, she dashed around another way, knowing where he was headed.
Again secluded, she watched him - thank goodness he remained outside.
She smiled as the tomato juice dripped down his chin. Her hand moved involuntarily to wipe it off delicately.
He looked... happy.
And, despite herself, and her intentions, Emerwyn's heart plummeted.
But, this is what I wanted...?
