My friend Lelandra gave the panda to me after she and Umi Pryde convinced me to join Gaia. It's cute, I completely agree. I think she got it from the cash shop.

I walk down the stone halls taking in my first sights of my new school as I head to the where I was told the Ravenclaw Common Room was.
Where are your greatest strengths?
I keep repeating the line to myself, wishing an answer would just come to me. For some reason my nerves are getting the best of me.
Well I'm here. I guess it is time to answer the question.
My greatest strengths, for me, can be found in my devotion and determination. I may not get everything right, but I do tend to try to give it everything I can, even when it seems too hard to do so. I made it through back surgery in May 2007, and I'm still getting used to living with rods screwed into my spine. I'm also very devoted to my friends, it can be a flaw in other people's view of me in the extent that I take their problems on myself and try to help them through them when I can barely manage my own. But I see it at as one of my special instinctive traits that I'm very proud of. Sometimes I can get carried away with things, and if that ever happens in a discussion, just politely wheel me back in, and I won't even feel bad about it. I'll thank you, apologize and step backwards so not to offend or annoy anyone.
So here I am, new to Ravenclaw and I cannot wait to join in all the fun around the Haven!

YAY! Welcome Umi! hehe. I still can't believe the proof of my eyes that we actually ended up in the same house. Not that we're that different, mind you. *uses Luna voice* We're going to have lots of fun. ^_^

Welcome! I hope you have fun! I think your strengths are admirable, I'm the same way, so no problem.
Anyway, I just finished painting my livingroom/diningroom area. It took me, my mom and my boyfriend 14 hours straight to finish. I am so tired and I went to the mall today too, thankfully I had no school today so that I could rest from monday's painting task.

my greatest strengths probably lie in my ability to find optimism in just about anything...
and the fact that i can apparently sound incredibley knowledgeable and intelligent on a subject that i know nothing or next to nothing about (pretty much the reason why my teachers seem to all like me.) ^_^

I'm happy to see that I'm not the newbie anymore, not that it lasted long. Welcome to Ravenclaw, it looks to be a fun filled time at Hogwarts from this point on.
As for my weekend, it went okay. I'm more worried about this coming weekend. I have to go to my back doctor's tomorrow and I do not want to get news that I have to have another surgery or that there is something wrong with my hardware.

First things first - hello to all newcomers!
Ohkay. Well, I've not been feeling so well lately. Kind of an autumn depression, I guess. You know, when you're all emo like, you lose your appetite, think how uncertain you are about your life and future, how does it hurt to be (still) a single, cry alot and stuff. It tortures me every year despite all my efforts to prevent this state. Maybe I should move to some warmer place, tropics perhaps. ^^; ...Nah, I don't think that's a good idea, I would definitely freak out... Anyway, I'm looking forward to some better days. Christmas is sooo near~. I miss snow.
Recently I was occupied with discovering some new music. Aaand... I'm really happy that I've learned about Sarah McLachlan, a Canadian pop singer. I can't stop listening to her! The statistics on my account on last.fm are scaring me - I listened to her 569 times, last week only! Her music is stunning (in my opinion, of course). It really finds a way to my heart. And as far as I know she's pretty popular, so maybe you guys know her music, hm?
I also liked the band called Kings of Convenience (this time, they're from Norway). However, I know about them since yesterday sooo I'd better not count my chickens before they hatch. But anyway, till now, a few of their songs have caught my ear, like 'Once Around the Block', 'Love Is No Big Truth' and 'I'd Rather Dance With You'. Really nice tune.

I'm sorry Fivienne about your autumn depression.Have you heard of those lamps that give you light, it's good for people who live in the North, where there is not much sun. Maybe you should get one of those? As for the single part, don't worry about it, someone will come your way. Don't believe me, but it will. Look at me, I never thought I'd have a boyfriend and the 28th will be our 6th month anniversary! heart
As for tomorrow, I have a wedding to go to and I am so excited to get my dancing shoes on! My boyfriend will be there and it will be so nice for him to spend time with my family, he's half german and half mexican and I'm 100% mexican, so the wedding is going to be all mexicans, I hope it goes well!
I saw Twilight 2 times in the past day. I went to the midnight showing and went to the 10:00 pm show (pacific time) today with my friend. I have fallen in love with Robert Pattison. He did amazing as Edward!
