"Ah" uakai said.. looking guiltly at her wedding book.. wich she promply attempted to hide by sticking it behind her back
"i'm Ukaai.. it's nice to meet you Cass" she said smiling warmly at her. Uakai perched herself on the edge of the stage.

"Congratulations!" she said, having already spotted the magazine, whose pages had been turned and re-turned many times. "Don't worry, it won't make me feel bad. Eveyone around here is very lucky." she said, picturing Tomo in her mind. Whether the image was fully clothed or not, sh ewould not disclose.

"Thank you. I'm scared actually. I've never been allowed to be near a wedding.. so i don't know how they work" she said sheapishly
"i never even imigined somone would want to marry me" she added smiling at her. She said as she set the book down.. her finger tips tracing a dress.
"I don't suppose you know anthing about them?" she asked hopefully

'Only by what I've seen." she supplied, hoping to be helpful. It was very obvious how excited Ukaia was, and Cass would not be a damper on that.
"But I'm sure that's something, right? What sorts of things do you want to know?" she asked, plopping down on the edge of the stage. At least this would distract her from any pesky blonde cat boys on the brain.

Ukaia smiled brightly at her and her tail flicked joyfully
"everything. I mean i've started doing some reaserch so i knwo i'm supposed to be in a white dress buti don't know if ic an really were a white one cuz it's supposed to mean i'm pure and i'm definaly not pure, and i know there is a maid of honor and i asked lily to do that, but i was gunna ask cerri to give me away because i don't have a papa and she said i should as tomo but i think of him as a brother so i didn't know if that would be ok" She said.. almost all in one breath. She'd not really had somone that she thought might seriously know. Or at least be intrested in helping her right now. Ukaia'd planned to mostly do research She panted a bit blushing harder ad realizing how much that must have sounded like a large run on messy sentance
"uh.. s.. sorry.." she stuttered rubbing her own ear sheapishly

Giving Ukaia's shoulder a reassuring pat, she smiled. "You can wear a white dress, because besides resembling purity, it also means you do not belong to anyone else. For you, it can mean that it is your first wedding." she said, smiling warmly. Yes, this would definitely take her mind off of Tomo. "But I think this Lily person was right. Tomo is the right person to ask to walk you down the aisle. To, give you away. If you asked him, I am sure you would be honored." she tried to remain calm, but all of the excitement of a wedding sort of rubbed off on her.

"You really don't think cerri will mind?" she asked attempting to keep a check on her enthusasim
"I mean. She's my adopted mom.. " she said uncertinally but beaming up at Cass. Ukaia's tail flicked back and forth. Then her face fell as she realized somothing
"A pretty white dress is going to cost money.. isn't it?" she said suddenly

"Ukaia, any sort of dress will cost some sort of money. But you know what? I think I have something to show you." she said, grabbing Ukaia's hand and starting to pull her to the stairs. "I have something you might want to see." she said, in a very excited teenaged girl voice.

That made Ukaia's ears fall
"I don't have any money" she said then squeeked and girnned a little as she was pulled
"Uh alright. what is it?" she asked happly following her. her doll oneka tucked under her arm. the book left on the stage

They were in Cass's room in no time, and she immediately went to the closet. She pulled out a large white plastic bag on a hanger, and handed it to Ukaia. "Come to me later and tell me if you like it." she said, whiping her nose, and smiling. "I have to go buy a few things at the market." she said, witha small wave, and she jogged down the stairs, suddenly remembering something.
((I have to go! It is a strapless white dress that Cass never got to use. Story to be told later.))

Curiously she went to her own room. She puled off her clothing, and then pulled on the dress. Looking at herself in the mirror..

Cass came back to the muffin, and set her bag of groceries on the bar, as she called up the stairs. "Ukaia, are you still up there?" hoping that she would hear a reply so she would not have to wait again for other people to talk to.

Coming down the stairs she stopped, letting the woman yell for the Cat female before sending her a troubled look and setting off towards the bar." Hello, may I get you anything Mi'lady?" Her darks eyes fallowed the woman as River walked, not leaving her for an instant. Blinking finally as her eyes started to dry she waited for a reply, her equaly heathly hair flowing behind her like a wind just blew past.

"Me?" inquired the silvery haired neko-woman. She smiled weakly, suddenly having been flooded with many feelings of loneliness.. It was very overwhelming, but she managed to walk to a seat at the bar. "No, no. I'm fine. Actually.. There's a bottle of white wine in that bag over there, and I do not know where the corker is. Can you open it for me, please?" Her elongated hand extended, as she pointed down the bar to where she had set down the groceries.

Ukai came downstairs.. Her reasonf or delay obvious as she was pulling a hair tye out of her mouth and finishing the elgent braid in her hair.
"Um.. hi?" she said blushing a bit.
