Meerkatje Today I finished this painting. It's acrylic. Subject was abstraction. God, I was so proud of it untill my teacher said what she thought of it... She says I have to start again, this is crap, apparently. crying
But I think she's wrong. 3nodding
 I was trying not to comment on this... but I just can't keep my mouth shut (or my fingers from typing, rather) gonk I'm afraid I'm going to have to agree with your teacher sad I wouldn't go so far as to call it crap though... Meer, you definitely have artistic talent, but I really don't think you used your full potential on this piece. There seems to be no emotion behind it... and the painting itself seems to have no flow or direction. I really get the feeling you bullshitted your way through this assignment sweatdrop I not trying to be mean or put you down... I just know you could do better 3nodding

hmmm... this is an interesting one... I'd suggest a black&white image of some political leader... or if you're leaning more toward culture, rather than politics... maybe a b&w pic of a little fat kid... America is full of little fat kids xd or maybe some images of American currency, since money runs this country I'd go with the currency, I think that would look the best 3nodding
