I buried him, Question, after our friend took care of him. That was not a fun time.

Well seeing as how I have no idea where Black Lantern Hex came from in the time stream I buried him on a hill a few miles outside of this part of the nexus, kinda near the Carnival. It's got a lone tree on it. Marked it with a wooden cross and one of those old wanted posters of him.

He kept asking me to figure out how to use an anti-life equation.
I don't know how you guys finally destroyed him. I saw him blown up with a missle and struck by lightning and those didn't do it.. I can't believe I missed it.

There were reports of a tremendous Black Lantern invasion in Nevada last month. Survivors claimed that the attackers looked like some legendary heroes of the old west - including Bat Lash, Super Chief and, yes, Jonah Hex.
His corpse was revived by the Black Lantern power to do something there, though very few people alive know what it actually was.
You say Hex knew the future of the Nexus. Next time you see him in here, alive, ask him what year it is. He'll tell you that it's some time in the 1870's. Once he does his thing here, he'll go back and live out the rest of his life up until his death in 1906. Then, his corpse will stay on display at a traveling carnival for 104 years until a black ring finds it.
Circular reasoning, but it's the only logical explanation.
Time travel gives me a headache.
