Snuffins TvIaMsOqTuHeYz Woman in Black is a MUST see. It is simply an amazing movie. If I decided, it would definately be up for an academy award. Horror, suspence, thriller, and even a heart warming message to it. Seriously, It is a great movie. I can see Radcliff being able to be defined as Arthur ( His character's name ) And Harry. Poor Ronald and Hermione will never be capable of shaking their roles though. I went to see Chronicle, gonna see Women in Black this weekend...BTW, Chronicle was also amazing whee I want to see Chronicle next, but I CAN'T wait for the Raven to come out. My favorite poet of all time is Poe, and they're doing a movie with him as a character! whee

I said that was the impression that was given by the quality of the writing, not that it was the case.
And I really can't even begin to count the number of times I've heard that excuse. Except, every person I've heard make that exact same excuse, used the same quality level in their RP posts as in their OOC posts. We are on the internet. Not only that, we are in a forum. A forum is a text based world in which we communicate solely through our written words. To be lax in your writing makes you yourself look lax, as your words are how we see you. Take great care in structuring your posts, and everyone respects you, as a writer if not as a person. Be lazy in your writing, and while you might gain respect as a person by being a great guy, you gain little to no respect as a writer.
This is a guild within this text based world, based on writing. The most important thing here is the quality of your posts. If my saying that pisses you off, that's fine. Perhaps in becoming angry you will see the source of the problem, and seek to fix it.

Cask of Amontillado or Pit and the Pendulum I could see, but the Raven? I mean don't get me wrong, if they pull it off, that'd be amazing...but I don't see how they'd make a short poem like that into a story...

In the trailer it explains it as someone is killing people exactly how they die in Poe's stories, and then Poe himself is the one who solves the crimes, and catches the man. ( According to the trailer. ) It has all of his notable poems, and short stories.

Murderer copies murders in famous novels, author is recruited to help track him down

I don't even care if this movie is a knock off of that series, but if they do a terrible job, then I'll burn them... Burn them all... Or maybe enact Poe's brilliance upon them! ^.^ But I'm kinda sad that they didn't get an actor that looked more like Poe. Although finding someone who loks like him now would be fairly hard. He was very unique.
