 He went to the other side of the table, giving a questionable eyebrow as he sat down after pushing her chair in.
"Cloud? Oh, maybe they'll come and say hi." He smiled, not having any fear of her parents. What were they going to do to him, kill him for going out with their daughter. The thought hit him, and he laughed nervously. "It'll be ok, I don't think they'd get that upset, would they?" Shizoku would not know, he never had a father. As the waiter came up to their table, he ordered for a bowl of pasta and water. While he then turned to her, wondering what she might want. turning his head, he looked over at her parents, hoping they would not see them now. But, if it happened, it happened.

"Ɩ'ℓℓ sтσρ тнɛ ωнσℓɛ ωσrℓ∂ ғrσм тʋrnιnɢ ιnтσ α мσnsтɛr αn∂ ɛαтιnɢ ʋs αℓιʌɛ. ..." xxxxSynn‘s slow, carefully measured strides were smooth, her gait displaying every perfectly toned muscle to perfection as she strode with her head high into the city of Edge, build over Midgar. At least, what had once been Midgar. Nothing but ruins remained of the city now, and Shinra and the Turks had long since built over them. She‘d heard of Edge, the supposed utopia that was monitored by Shinra at all times, whether it was by SOLDIERS or by people who worked for the company. It didn‘t matter who was watching the citizens. That was all that mattered, something everyone understood back where Synn was raised. What did it matter who was watching you as long as you were, in fact, being watched? That was like saying that it mattered what the alien‘s name was before it wrought havoc on The Planet. The thought alone made Synn almost want to laugh. Almost. She ran a hand through her long hair, brushing her bangs out of her eyes and glancing around while the fingers of her right hand strayed absently to the black leather sheathe that she wore on her hip. The soft matte fabric was beautifully crafted, but the sheathe did no justice to the blade just beneath the leather. She idly traced a finger along the side of the blade, being sure not to cut herself on the sharp edge as her aquamarine eyes swept the center of the city.xxxxOne, two, three, four, five, The numbers ticked silently in her head as she continued to look around, taking note of each face and getting a feel for the city. Two couples sitting in restaurants, though she couldn’t quite see their faces, and one other guy staring in awe at an airship-type vehicle in which she was not particularly interested. What she was interested in was the way the city worked, and the only way to figure that out was to observe the citizens. Mindlessly, with movements that were almost mechanical despite the fluid, graceful movements of her body, she made her way over to a restaurant and took a seat at a bar, keeping a close eye on the other patrons that she saw. Two faces she knew. It was hard to not know them. Tifa Lockheart and Cloud Strife, the heroes of the Planet. She resisted the urge to snort into the cup of tea that a timid teenage waitress placed before her. Yeah. Heroes. We‘ll see now, won‘t we? Her thoughts were dry and humorless as she sipped the steaming liquid, savoring the feeling of it scalding her throat. How long had it been since she‘d eaten anything? A day or two, maybe? She sat still, so perfectly still that she seemed to be a statue of beauty carved out of reality by whatever higher entity may have existed, scrutinizing the couples openly.

It just takes time for your memories to return. { T } ifa and Cloud had ordered their food, and started to discuss the instructions. Some of it was in another language, and most was a long winded 'go here, find this, take it to here, make it into that, take that to there...' but from what they were able to decipher, they were to create a pure substance and mix it with holy water. It would have to stew for a month, and then it would be usable. "Looks like we have our work cut out for us, huh Teef?" he said, holding her hand across the table. He kissed the dolphin ring on her left hand. "But I'll still search for another cure, we should try and find a back up you know?" Tifa nodded, then turned her attention to a couple sitting a few tables away. "Cloud...does that look like Shizoku...and...that's Shikyo!" she said in surprise. "I wonder if they finished the mission, but where are the others?" she said, looking around for Kade and Shizoku's friend that they said they were going to save. "It looks like a date to me." Cloud growled out. However Tifa's face lit up. "Oh that's so cute!" Cloud got up. "It's not cute, it's a slimeball making a pass at our daughter." he said to her before he stalked over to the others' table. Tifa hurried behind him, trying to stop him from embarrassing Shikyo, though she too wanted to know what was up. "Shikyo!" they both said at the same time. Though Cloud definitely didn't take Tifa's happy tone of voice. "Shikyo, why don't you and Tifa chit chat while I have a talk with Shizoku here. Man to man." he said. He wouldn't really hurt Shizoku, but he was going to make damned sure that he was good enough for Shikyo. When did I start acting like such a...dad? he thought, but shrugged it off as he waited for Shizoku to follow him outside the restaurant. {{ooc: So you guys want Cloud and Tifa run into Shikyo and Shizoku at the restaurant?}}

 She overheard her parents, mainly Cloud a bit before they came over, feeling like she could die of embarrassment. She put her head down on the table, hiding her bright red face under her thick black hair and using the table as well. Why are they here of all places? They could've chosen a different restaurant... She hoped Cloud wouldn't go and scare off Shizoku, he was a gentleman to her in every way, not like he was trying to force her to do anything and this was her first boyfriend...

 "It's not a ship, it's an Armored Personell Carrier. A.P.C. for short. I did some contract work for the Millitary and this is how they paid me. Let's ride!" The A.P.C. turns on a dime and rolls out. (Exit to the cliffs)

Shizoku stood from his chair, his hands in his pockets while he nodded toward Cloud.
"Why don't we head outside and talk, let the women sit down in here." He smiled, turning around as he walked out the door, his back resting up against the wall of the restaurant while he crossed his arms, awaiting cloud to meet him outside. Lovely, this should be good. oh well.. smirking, he muttered under his breath. "Its worth it. "

Cloud said as he left Tifa with Shikyo. He walked outside and stopped in front of Shizoku. "I'm not going to hurt you." Cloud said. "But if you hurt Shikyo in any way, then you'll wished I had chased you off today." he paused, and looked Shizoku up and down, he looked like a punk, but then again they had just gotten back from a mission. "I just want to make sure that my daughter is treated with the respect she deserves." Cloud said as he put his hands in his pockets. Meanwhile Tifa was bombarding Shikyo with her probing questions. "So what happened during the mission? Did he ask you out then? Do you think he's cute? Well I think you guys make an adorable couple." she said, but then she took a few deep breaths and smiled at Shikyo. "And like I said before, if you have any questions, or need any help, you know where to find me." she said finally. "I don't mind you two dating, you're your own person and should be able to make your own decisions." she said with a motherly smile.

Kade floated down, his entire body covered black with ash. He was coughing and hacking, not seeing where he was going...though smacking right into the wall of some building...a resteraunt or something. So then, he fell...hard...right on top of a passing car. CRUNCH! People ran off, screaming as he groaned in more pain. He could see Cloud, his father, and that guy...talking while Tifa, his mother, was talking actively to Shikyo, his sister. What was going on....he had no clue. But right now...he was in big pain....big big big pain. He groaned and lay his head back. ▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§

"Shizoku went against some scientist and the black hole he summoned destroyed the tower. He asked me out after and yes I think he's cute." She picked her head back up off the table, though her face was still a bit pink from blushing. "Thanks Tifa and I might go to you when things start getting more serious." She said smiling, though that might be awhile before that would happen since she would probably take things slow. Her smile dimmed as she heard some pained groaning, she craned her neck to look out on the road near the restaurant to see a ash covered Kade near it. She got up out of her seat and went to the edge of the sidewalk. "Kade are you alright?" She crouched down next to him, putting her hand on his arm and casting a cure 3 to seal up his wounds and relieve his pain.

Kade shook his head as his sister approached. "Quite honestly, I've had better days." And with that, he hacked up more ash. "Stupid phoenix." He muttered, struggling to stand. One of his wings was limp, himself spitting in disgust. "That mission went well." Shaking, some of the ash came off of him. His eyes wandered over to Tifa and Cloud, who was interrogating Shizoku. Kade's eyes narrowed at him. "Dear sister, what are you doing with Shizoku? Here." Now mind you, he hadn't been a brother for very long...but he sure could act like it...and he would. First off, killing the sister's boyfriend. ▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§

shizoku nodded, hearing what the rather protective father had to say. Shizoku crossed his arms once more, giving Cloud a slight smirk.
"I have no intentions on hurting your daughter. I like her, shes sweet, and i think shes gorgeous. I promise i won't let anything bad or harmful befall her as long as were together. I actually had planned o talking to you , and your wife about this when we got back to the mansion. But i suppose this is more simple and quicker that we ran into you." The only think he had hoped to do before talking to the parents, was at least look somewhat decent. Looking himself over, he could see himself down to a pair of ripped up cargo pants. Later on he would go about purchasing some new gear. After finishing speaking, Shizoku could see what was the male, Kade, or also known as dragon, falling over, as he then watched Shikyo rush out, and heal him. "This day couldn't get anymore hectic." He looked at Cloud. "Should we check to see if hes alright?" Shizoku had little known fact that had been Clouds other child.

She helped his brother stand with one of her hands and brushed some ash off him with her free hand. "Yeah but I didn't do anything." She looked where her brother was looking where their parents were, as she heard him ask the question of why were they there, his tone of voice giving away that he wanted to kill Shizoku. "I'm having a meal with Shizoku?" She mentally didn't say date since she knew she'd probably have to hold back Kade either way from killing him, Shizoku isn't a bad guy like they thought he was.

Kade grunted. "Meal? You mean date." One could sense the stress of the word date in his voice. But then he relaxed. "I don't know if I will be able to live in the Mansion much longer. It seems...my mate, I mean Rosalia, and I have a....similar enemy. If we stay at the Mansion...you guys might get hurt." He straightened up and brushed himself off. He looked at his parents...his eyes began to soften. They still didn't know who he was....perhaps hit was better that way...who knew. But if Shizoku did ANYTHING to his sister...oh..OH...he was DEAD! ▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§

He then turned his attention to Kade. "Seems our paths are always crossing." he looked Kade over but didn't offer any help, not yet. "Why do you call me 'dad' and Shikyo your sister? Tifa or I haven't seen you before in our lives." he thought maybe that Kade was another test tube experiment, like Shikyo and the child that was his and Aerith's. Tifa walked out of the restaurant shortly after Kade had fallen. "My, I guess we just can't catch a break, huh?" she said to the group. She took the recipe that the old woman had sold them and put it in the pocket of her cargo pants. She still had bruises on her arms and legs from her intense workout last night, and her skin seemed to take on a sickly dull pale color. Cloud's heart sank when he saw her like that; so weak, yet trying so hard to be optimistic. "Hmmm? This guy is our kid too?" Tifa asked, none to surprised if he was. With Hojo making new experiments left and right, she was surprised that they didn't already have 50 little 'kids' running around.
