Aiden is flirting cutely, because he's like that. He likes hanging out at the store too, because he really has no friends besides Ty and Raf... and now Ash and he can hang out with them here.

Ash grins broadly when Catherine, one of their other coworkers walks in. He waves hello to her, and then informs Aiden, "I need to go to the back for a second utie. I'll be right back."

Ash misinterprets the confusion as uncomfortableness. Once they're seated, he decides to point out, "This doesn't have to be a date, if you don't want it to be."
