Wolf nodded. "Well it's been brought to my attention that I've changed quite a bit since I first came to NY. And that I had to conclude that there is a base personality of mine, and...there's something else." Wolf bit his lip, then continued. "It may be because of the events I went through, the things I've done, or even a mixture of them both, but I can't help it that I will constantly be changing, little or large at a time." He skipped a little over the 'something else' part, and he acted like he didn't.

Wolf nodded. "Well, to start, adapting. You can't act the same near Canada then in New York City! Then, going off that, learning, and off that, remembering. I learned people's moves, their personalities, their reactions, and remembered them. I learned what was going on in NYC, and remembered the randomness of it all. I even had to remember my own reactions. Strategies for vampires, for humans, for Tainted came in from mistakes and things that worked." As he explained, Wolf knew that he would have to say the darker side of truth, and if Mephlius questioned more, he would. Wolf was not going to lie. Not to Mephlius, or Amnity.

Mephlius nodded. "Interesting..." It felt like Wolf was hiding something. But Mephlius didn't want to pressure him into talking about it. The conversation needed to remain casual.

Wolf smiled back. "Yeah, it takes a bit more then that, so I'll be all right." He was reminded of something, then realized that he may not be in a little bit. Wolf, however, kept his smile and showed none of his worry.

Mephlius thought for a moment. "It's kinda leaning towards one side. But there isn't a lot of violence I'd be comfortable doing around my parents. So the scale will just remain uneven."

Amnity stared off, just picturing that. Mephlius' mom in the sidelines cheering and screaming obscenities at the lycan, his father catching the fight all on camera and posting the video on youtube. She chuckled a bit and shook her head. "...No, I don't think it's weird."

Wolf was keeping up with the conversation, but was lost in some of it. "Wait...If I'm not intruding this, but what do you mean by the 'scale'?" He asked, getting a slightly good idea from listening, but still clueless, so Wolf just continued looking on.

Mephlius looked at Wolf, trying to find a way to phrase it. "Amnity and I have been trying to stay balanced... between being cold-blooded murderers and your average sickeningly romantic couple. So we keep a scale between those two. If we're being to violent, we try to be more romantic. If we're getting too mushy, we try to be more violent." He smiled, as he came to a realization. "We're basically just trying our best not to be normal to... anyone."

Wolf laughed a little. "Well that's a different way to live, but again all of us aren't normal." He smiled. "So how long have you guys been doing this?" Wolf asked, not even knowing if Mephlius and Amnity knew themselves.
