With a squeak, she released him, looking up to him with an apologetic yet happy expression. "My apologies if I have startled you, Seisuke-ona. Simply .. I am very grateful for your help. I know not what to say .."

"Have I injured you?!" she asked in a panicked tone, tears immediately welling up in her eyes. Moving closer to him again, she used magic to examine him, making sure she had not, regardless of what his answer may be.

She blushed, looking at him with deep apology. Kneeling on the floor, she leaned on the couch beside him, looking eye level with his knees. "My apologies, Seisuke-ona .. I di dnot wish to hurt any part of you, even a little, especially not very much!" she said softly, leaning her head gently against his knee now.

When he touched her head, she exhaled deeply, relaxing considerably. To her, this said he forgave her for having hurt his pride and still cared for her just as always. Feeling a little more comfortable again, she leaned against him a little more. Slowly, she sent her thoughts to him .. peaceful, happy and appreciative.

Leaning against him more, sighing merrily. Feeling clingy, she wrapped her hands around the lower part of his calf, near the ankle. Smiling more, she felt completely at peace with the world here. Suddenly she twitched, clinging more tightly, clearly an unintentional action. Inhaling deeply, she relaxed again, resuming her gentle clinging to his leg, leaning against his knee.

When seeing her, he would notice immediately that her skin had returned to her normal fair skinned tone and had her eyes been open, he would have seen also that her eyes were normal again too. Had she realized this, her weariness would have much more sense. "Thank you .. Seisuke .. ona .. my .. apologies .." she said softly, drifting off to sleep the moment he took her up in his arms. As he moved, she would continue mumbling in the ancient language, but was very much asleep.
