Smiling, he pulled back slighty, leaning his head against hers. "How was your day, sweet?" Vince murmured, stroking her back with one hand.

Arlen stirred slightly on the couch, starting to drag himself back to conciousness.

"Arlen?" Lily whispered softly, putting a hand on his cheek. "Can you hear me?" she watched him, fear mingled with relief in her eyes.
"Amazingly enough, sweet, that's about the way my day went. Except I took a nap when I got back from work." Vincent winked, then gave her a quick kiss. "I have one of your presents too." he confided in a whisper. "It was delivered to the shop today.

"Of course. Well," he ammended. "I got you more then one something, as you've never had a real Yule before. I want it to be special for you." Vince grinned, then tapped her nose. "Besides, it gave me an excuse to buy you things."
The teen began to cry, deeply relieved as she gave him a tight hug. "I was so scared!" Lily wailed, clinging to him.

Arlen hugged Lily back, unsure of what would scare her to the point crying. "I'm sorry," he said rubbing her back. "What happened?"

"You collapsed!" Lily told him, sniffling and trying to stop the tears. "And...and I didn't know what to do, and you've been asleep since then, and...and..." she stopped speaking and swallowed hard. "I'm so glad you're awake." she whispered, kissing the cornor of his mouth.
Vincent shook his head, smiling and putting one finger on her lips. "I only need one thing." he told her lightly. "I've had Yule's before, though your present will mean more to me then any I've gotten before. This is to make up for all the times you didn't get any presents. I'm going to spoil you rotten for the rest of your life." he added with a grin. "And have fun doing it."

"You're not really a slave now." Vincent told her gently, affection in his eyes. "We both know that. And you'll never be a slave again, Uka. I won't allow it, and neither will Tomo. We love you too much to let it happen."
"Yes you collapsed!" Lily told him, hardly believing that he didn't remember. "And no you are not fine! You haven't been eating, either. Arlen, I'm getting really concerned. Please ask Tomo to look you over tomorrow, or see a doctor, or something. Please?"
