OOC: Once we're sorted, are we allowd to drop the House Elf squeak? o.o?
Rori skipped along the corridor, quietly humming to herself. She made sure no students saw her as she reached the picture of the fruit bowl.
"Dum dee dum dum." She sighed softly as she tickled the pear with her pointer finger. It giggled softly and she walked into the kitchens. There was some steam from pots on the stoves and in the ovens. Rori bows to the other elves.
"Is everyone feeling good?" She squeaked.
OOC:Was that a good first... Statement?

@Isupport: only if you want your character (and you don't need to roleplay too much in common rooms) to be squeaky

Without further ado, I would like to name those elves I thought deserved Elf of the Week.
(Please note: These names were chosen a long time ago, I'm just able to post this now... Also if you see your name Congratulations. I had intended to PM you first, I still will, but time is scarce and if I don't do this now, it'll never happen)

Each of these members were chosen (in no particular order) for their extreme eagerness and participation around the guild. Some were extremely active here in the Pear as well. There are so many honorable mentions such as Aki Sasaki, majestic mithras, Ilena_Macllvain, etc. I couldn't surpass the number of weeks! [9] There was a wide selection to choose from and the decision was quite hard to make. It's quite bad that the space was limited because I could make many of you Elf of the Week.
Congrats to all again!

Eeyore comes into the kitchen, reads the notice and getting a big grin on her face, starts bouncing around the kitchen. She is so excited she nearly knocks the trays full of food over from the tables. "Thankses IceeWitch, it is such an honor to be House Elf of the Week", she bows deeply to the Head Elf. I better gets working on cleaning the castle, she runs out of the kitchen to do laundry and scrub the Great Hall.

"Rori can't wait start being an Elf of Hogwarts!" She said happily, bouncing a little bit. "Is Rori allowd to join the elf lessons?"

Katrina entered the kitchen and smiled.
"Well," she said. "I can't believe they're sorting everyone this month! It's going to be a LONG 30 days..."
Katrina began to sweep the floor and then mop.
"I feel sorry for the sorters... must be a lot of work right now... I wonder if I'll be sorted soon! Better keep working..."
(And I don't think you have to do the squeak... lots of people do, but I always just use "said" xp )

I can't wait to get Sorted. I think I'll be placed in Slytherin. You see, I'm a pure-blood, and my parents were both in Slytherin. Don't tell anyone, but they are Death Eaters for Voldemort. They are one of his most loyal servants. But trust me, I'm not going to turn up like my parents. I've been thinking, even tohugh I don't want to be in Slytherin, I'd do well there. I mean, at least Snape likes Slytherins, right? So I won't have to deal with him hating me. I guess we should get back to work. I can't believe that this is my last day as a house-elf."

Schnerkel noticed that most of the other elves had been cleaning and mopping when something very important jumped into her mind - the End of Term feast! The House Elves were always the ones to prepare that! "Oh bother," Schnerkel whispered as she thought of what all could still be done. With a flurry of motion she bounced over to their gigantic cauldron full of pumpkin juice and began magically streaming it up through the ceiling to the students that were bound to be eating up there.
(I just thought this might be something we could roleplay about since Professor Adonis mentioned that the House Elves prepared the meal in the Great Hall thread for the event, heh)
