"Well we could always do something. My Pokemon are so close to evolving I can taste it." He takes a mouthful of coffee before quickly spitting it back in the cup. "Evolution taste disgusting," He says, looking at the coffee grinds in his cup.

Maddy put her hands in her pockets.
"Let's just beat up some Pokemon on the outskirts of Lilycove. I don't wanna go anywhere too far, but I need to do something to keep things off my mind."
Other than heading to Mt.Pyre, it was the only thing she could suggest doing.
"Unless, there's a specific Pokemon you want to go after. I'm all ears."

After taking a bit longer than he should have to think of something he wanted, he just shrugs.
"I can't think of anything so I'm down for just training." He dumps whats left of his coffee and stands by the door, eager for some training.

"Let's go then."
Maddy left the kitchen and went out outside. It was nighttime and was quite chilly tonight. She shuffled through the cool sand on the beach, walking slowly since she was still a little weak. She stumbled every now and then, but it was nothing she couldn't handle.

Dark follows Maddy closely. He was a bit worried about her and the sudden injury. He was also really excited as four of his Pokemon are close to evolving.

They were about halfway through the city when Maddy had to stop and rest on a bench. She sat down, a hand pressed to her covered eye.
"Ugh... This has taken more out of me than it should've..." She said. "At least it's not nearly as painful now as it is when I'm in my room..."

"Well that's good." Dark says as he leans against the bench. "So what's the plan with the Green Orb? How is Aqua gonna keep it safe?"

"The Green Orb..." At the moment, she had the object hidden in her room. "The farther I get from it..."
She shook her head.
"Well, I have it hidden right now. But it should probably be somewhere deeper in HQ than it is now."
She wanted to stand up and press onward on their little adventure, but she couldn't quite bring herself to move. All her energy was gone.

"Are you sure you should be doing this?" Dark asks her, noticing her weakened state. "Maybe you should be resting instead of battling?"

"My Pokemon do the battling. I'm fine."
She took in a deep breath and tried to stand up. It was a slow process and she was a little shaky, but Maddy managed to stand on her own two feet.
"We'll just have to walk a little slower..."
One step at a time, she began to walk again, heading for the outskirts of town.

Dark stays close to her, making sure he'd be able to catch her if she falls.
"Well if you can handle it..." He mumbles.

Maddy found herself acutely aware of how closely Dark was following her. The thought sent shivers down her spine and made her uneasy.
"I-I'm fine!" She said, moving further for him and trying to walk faster. She almost lost her footing, and walking faster made her head pound, but she was sure she could keep up this charade until they got to their destination. She could see the forest lining the west side of town looming above the buildings already.

"Sure is taking awhile to get there." Dark says with a chuckle. He noticed Maddy picked up her pace when he got close so he kept his normal pace.
"It's not like the anticipation is exciting. I already know what's found wild out here."

"Oh, shut up."
As soon as they were out of town, Maddy collapsed against the nearest tree. The tall grass wasn't too far from them, so she could easily release her Pokemon to go do their thing. She found herself clutching at her eye again.
"Maybe I'll just sleep here tonight..." At this point, she didn't really want to try and stand again.
Her gaze went to Mt.Pyre in the distance.

"Do you want me to just carry you?" Dark asks Maddy as he catches up to her. "I could do that y'know. Make it easier on you." He looks over at Mt.Pyre as well. "I wonder how the orbs ended up at a giant grave mountain."
