Is everyone using letter grade because they don't want weird percentage things and passing grades, or is that how they do that at whatever ages you're at?

I get letters unless the teacher tells me the percent, which only my German and history teachers did. German 77%, History 86.5%

When I got mine it was funny cuz the school took it to the 4th decimal. (3.0182) mrgreen

*snorts When saying our average grade in percent in our report cards, nearly evryone gets it to the first decimal place (Ex: 78.6%), but I was the only one to get a clear one first semester, 86%.
Oh yeah, can someone please explain Grade point Average to someone who if gets rejected to summer school, will spend a large amount of time in the USA...
