Guess I'll swap the internet for a bridge then.

I still want Chaos in this game, hard to imagine it without them...

Yeah, but it makes sense in a way, they do get rather stereotypical after a while.

Official rumor that I've seen/heard floating around (from Zaha at 'Nidmod, a man who seems to know a little too much), Chaos will be brought in with an Expansion Pack, probably along with Guard.

As far as it goes, the tactic of Short-hopping Assault Marines looks to be promising. Break up the enemy line, do some knockback damage...looks sweet.

For some reason I am getting less and less excited/interested. Maybe because the release is at least 8 months away?

Uggh... judging from that video the Tyranids look way overpowered. There doesn't seem to be much diversity in gameplay for Tyranids, either, other than point and click beat 'em up (Or in the case of the Zoanthrope Warp Field shot ). But time will tell. Pretty nifty, if not bloom heavy graphics though.

Ah well, the 'nid players got what they wanted. Overpowered insects to eternally clash with overpowered guys in suits. I can hear the fanboys now...

I don't think I'll be getting Dawn of War II just yet, I might get a stand-alone expansion pack if it has Grey Knights, Chaos, or Dark Eldar.

You seem to Forget Gameplay videos of new races in any RTS have to show them kicking a**

Or your not going to want to play as them.

Indeed, it is along those lines that most new armies featured in battle reports will always win, with the exception of one or two.

@Sanity: I sense a pattern here. Try being excited now already and wait for it, you can go apeshit over every bit of info they throw at us and hype it up, or you can just wait and see.

Though granted, waiting is always the hardest part.

Well I did get excited over the Tyranid gameplay, but then I realized that Chaos wouldn't be in it.

Heh, there's always something to kill the joy. All we can do is wait and see, maybe they will get a cameo at the end of the single player campaign or the fans will whine hard enough to get them included in the sure to follow expansion.

And come to think of it it will be in the second half of my senior year and I won't have the time of day to play it. Well that's not true, I just can't afford the time of day, because I'll end up pushing my responsibilities back to play it. After that I'll be in college and maybe I'll have a good laptop.

Senior year should be coasting if you worked hard through high school. First semester college Freshman is eh, so-so. Kinda easy. Second semester onwards when you need to start going at full pace.

Senior year will be my hardest year, but I intend to make the most of it.

'Nids <3

And for the comment that said they seemed over powered. That was only a game play video to show you how they react. Of course they are going to seem overpowered in that. We don't want one Marine taking down our lovely Tyrant with one bullet now do we?
