((I've been re-reading the RP from the start out of boredom, and I would like to note that we'd said time-skipping would be separate for the different groups to prevent having to wait on someone whose character isn't even involved. And 'nator's online schedule always seems to be random. >->;; ))

{If you want the timeskip now, we can. I don't mind either way, but I'd honestly like to continue playing as Mala if possible. There are little to no active RP's these days and I'm bored.}

{Alright, timeskip~ ...I don't know what to post for Mala, so let's just say that she's trying again. Also, sorry if my posts become a little slower - I'm working on a RP I've thought about making for awhile and I might be watching Toy Story 3 soon.}

((*nostalgic sigh and sniffles* I loved that movie...It made me cry so much... cry ))
It had been a few days since Mala last tried. Van managed to convince her to take a few days to make sure she was fully rested before trying again. Now it was time to see if she could really push all the way through the seal. "I'm not sure how much I'll be able to do here, but I'll see if I can't try and...I don't know, overload it or something from my end." he told her before she started.

{I heard it was pretty sad. Children abandon their toys so mercilessly, despite the sentiment. Then again, I am not one to talk.}
"Alright. Well...here goes nothing!" Mala prepared herself, and began her attempt on the seal once more. She put all of her effort and energy into it, so if this failed, she'd probably end up feeling all dizzy and weak for nothing.

Van poured as much power as he could into the seal, his chains starting to crack and chip away much faster than any previous attempts. He clenched his teeth and panted as he tried to keep it up. "Almost....there....!"
((It's even more tear-worthy if you grew up on the first two Toy Story movies like I did.))

Mala bit her lip, trying to hold out for as long as she could for the spell. She would be most dissappointed with herself if she failed now.

((Let me put it this way: I'm not the most emotional person in the world, yet I was crying by the opening credits.))
The cracks in his chains suddenly gave off a bright light before they finally shattered and gave way as Van broke through. His body and the ring glowed brightly as he was finally released from the ring at long last.

Upon seeing that the spell was a success, Mala grinned weakly as her arms drooped limply to her sides. She had trouble standing, yet, she was elated at the success of the spell. "I..I did it. I told you I would.."

Van held Mala's hands with his own weary grin as he steadied her, although he seemed just as tired the way he swayed slightly. "Sorry for doubting you..." he said as he wrapped his arms around her in a tight hug.

"Last time I wasn't really in the ring, and last time you had help." Van said before giving her a long, passionate kiss. Once their lips finally parted, he said "Either way, thank you." with a weary smile.
