Alura smiled alittle as she looked at him. "Yes...though i think it is because Haven is with him that he was linient" she said as she tilted her head alittle. She was alittle intimidated by Lucifers darker side, having only experianced it once herself. She sighed and waved her hand the small mist mirror dissappearing, before she focused on Rayshio. "so....how are you enjoying your time here?" she asked curiously.

Teo tilted her head and nodded slowly as she walked beside him. "Oh.....I think I understand...." she said as she looked down at the bag in her hand, before she looked at him again. "WHo is he trying to prove it too?" she asked him curiously.

Haven looked up at his father and then at the girl and tilted his head. He wondered why the girl seemed wary of his father, but ignored it as he felt his fathers tail wrap around his small waist. "Ok Daddy..." he said as he clung to his tail, his own tail waviung behind him as he purred.

Rayshio smiled at her question, "I'm finding it a very hospitable place." He said cheerfully, "Nothing how it was described to me on earth." He mused.

Dr. Thin shook his head, "Mostly his brothers." He replied as they neared a shack sort of building, "They give him a very hard time about his stature."

Rayshio nodded, "This is true. From what I've come to understand, my father goes out into the rougher parts of hell for house calls...I wonder how those go." He gave a soft laugh, "With a bedside manner like his, its a wonder he's lived so long out there."

Dr. Thin looked up at the building and shrugged, "Astromidon is a unique case. Not only is he a tenth the size of his siblings, he is ten times more acutely aware of ground activity. I believe that, if he lives long enough, he will go far in predicting earthquakes and other natural disasters. He's just too young to acknowledge his potential...so yes, for now he lives in a shack and gets into fights. But he'll grow into his role one day."

Rayshio smiled at the thought of the young neko and nodded, "You have a point there..." He said with a grin, "Though, I'm surprised he got a young lady to help him...in the short time I've known the man, he's always been single-minded...all about getting one job after another done...he never seemed to need any help, let alone need it."

Dr. Thin thought about it for a moment, "He's nearing his 98th birthday next fall..." He told her, giving a nod, "About the equivalent of 12 in human terms." He explained.

Rayshio nodded, "I grew up with my mother...a human." He explained, "I didn't know who my father was until I was much older. And even then, I never really saw the man until I got my doctorate. He...is a very busy man...but my mother raised me well enough on her own...she's a scientist." He chuckled, "Yes, I imagine he'd get very lonely, given the way he lives...if he even feels things the same way as everyone else."

Dr. Thin chuckled lowly, "You are much more...mature...than him. Let's just leave it at that." He then knocked at the door and waited for an answer. Inside there was a smashing noise, as though a plate was thrown at the wall.

Rayshio's eyes softened as he smiled, "She's the most tolerant woman you will ever meet." He said with a chuckle, "Not every human parent would praise their child for disappearing and reappearing through the house to avoid nap time because they were 'learning.'" He laughed lightly, "Its a good thing my father warned her what to expect from me though."

Dr. Thin rubbed his forehead, "Sadly, yes." He said with a sigh. "Stand behind me." He instructed as the door suddenly pulled open, clanging on a chain lock. A large yellow eye looked through the crack at Dr. Thin, glaring at him a moment, then at Teo, "Girl?" A guttural voice hissed. "She's with me. I'm checking on your son, Mrs. Hgnoger." Dr. Thin said calmly. The door slammed shut, there was several clicks and bangs, then the door opened. A strange demon that looked like and overgrown toad with a set of sharp teeth crossed her arms looking down at them, about 10 feet tall. It wore a patchwork yellowing dress, "Upstairs."

Rayshio chuckled and scratched the back of his head, embarrassed, "Yes, well, I was a bit of a scamp as a child, I have to admit. But I think I turned out alright all in all, thanks to her." He did his best not mutter 'but not my father' at the end. He had resented his absentee father for a long time, but had gotten mostly over it.

Dr. Thin nodded to the woman and stepped into the house. He glanced back at Teo, hoping she'd do alright here today. He maneuvered through the house past trash piles and dirty furniture. The house stunk of rotten meat and the walls had blood spatter stains. He kept looking back at Teo, making sure she was alright as they finally made it to the stairs. On a couch nearby, two creatures that looked remarkably like their mother sat. Yellow glowing eyes followed them as they muttered to eachother, hissing laughter as their eyes looked Teo up and down.

Rayshio bowed his head to her, "You flatter me." He replied. "I'm sure you will do just as well with your own children." He said with a smile, "After all, I can tell already the child growing inside of you is very powerful even now."


Dr. Thin lead Teo up the stairs and down one more hall. Coming to a door he glanced back at Teo, "It is best to ignore that sort as best you can. They won't try anything so long as you're with me." He said quietly. He knocked gently on the door and there was a scuffling noise before the handle moved and it opened. Standing at about a foot tall was what looked to be an elongated versions of the other creatures downstairs. His left leg was in a cast and his right hand was wrapped up in splint. He looked up at Dr. Thin and sighed, limping back towards his bed, "Great, you brought a girl to laugh at me. Thanks doc." He muttered, scrambling up the side of his bed awkwardly, as it sat at an odd angle, reveling it had a broken frame. "Let's get this over with."
