ooc: I was meaning for it to be an accident that she got in. She's very curious and well this could be the cat killing part. lol. She was just exploring the mansion on her own. Ginko Kitsune ooc: i don't think sonya would be alone in an artificial simulation unless you made it that way. if she's part of regina and penny's team, one of them would have been with her to help her learn... i think. another mod can correct me if i'm wrong.

OOC: We can chalk it up to Sonya's electrical powers causing a glitch in the danger room's computer programming. It certainly wouldn't be the first time the danger room went haywire in the X-Men's history. Just look at the current Astonishing X-Men plot.

Sonya heard a voice call out to the computer. Soon she was back in the room she had first entered. She fell to her knees crying. "I'm s..so sorry," she sobbed, "I was just finding me place around here, I didn't mean to cause all this trouble." She was crying so hard that the tears falling down her cheeks set off sparks, leave small burn lines as if she was crying acid. "Please don't kick me out of here. This is the first place where I felt like I belong being a mutant."
Sasha sneaked away from the group as they were still confused of where they were. She turned into sand and traveled around the other side and turned back into her form. She was looking at all the weird equipment around. "Mmm....must be a really powerful and rich man," said Sasha, smiling.

"I don't think it was that sweet. It did take me by surprise though." Regina admitted. "I like it, I find it... wonderous. But at the same time he's bringing out a more... perverted side. We haven't even done anything but kiss yet and look at how I'm thinking."
She blushed even more at their previous conversation of master and slave. "I'm such a dork..."

OOC: Sonya is on Porter's team, fyi.
Porter walked out of the control deck and down into the main body of the Danger Room, "Damn Wolverine leaving his simulations running."
Great way to say hello to the new students. Let's leave the Danger Room open with a dangerous simulation running... Porter wanted to slap people around sometime for their disregard to the fact that there was a school on the grounds. He steped into the maelstrom of tears coming from Sonya's eyes and sat her down outside of the Danger Room.
"Sonya, if we kicked you out for something like this, half our student body would be gone. It's our fault for not locking it down," He explained to her and then sealed off the doors so nobody else would get in unsupervised, "The Danger Room is one of our tools for helping students learn and use their abilities. As you saw, there are some pretty advanced holographic simulations that can run. I'm sorry you got stuck in the middle of one." -------- Penny couldn't help but laugh when Regina went on. She shook her head, "Well if you think that all this stuff is preverted than 90% the world is a freak. It's only natural in life. You found somebody you absolutely adore, and he treats you well to top it off. What more can you ask for?"

Sonya wiped away her tears and smiled. "Oh thankyou!"she cheered and hug Porter. "I will never go in there again without permission." But with her emotions going wild again, when she got over happy her body sent off some static and when she hugged Porter, well....he wasn't exactly standing up anymore. "Oh, I'm sooo sorry, I didn't mean too," she said, helping Porter back up, "My powers usually go out of control sometimes. I'm hoping that with this school, I can eventually use them well."

Morgan lay in his room, staring at the ceiling. He'd been staring at the ceiling, trying to sleep since they'd returned to the mansion. To no avail, of course.
Since it's obvious that I'm not going to get any sleep, I may as well do something more interesting than staring at the ceiling, he thought to himself. He got to his feet, and grabbed some of his gear. The Danger Room was certainly more interesting than staring at the ceiling, and he'd probably be able to get some sleep after he'd done some simulations.
He arrived at the entrance to the Danger Room to find Porter comforting a crying girl. Morgan gave Porter a look that said "Is she okay?" Porter quickly jerked his head at the open door of the Danger Room. Ah. Poor girl must've activated a sim by accident, Morgan thought, nodding to Porter. He walked past, and loaded up one of the harder training sims.
Morgan took a deep breath as the doors of the Danger Room closed behind him, and the lights came on, one by one. The hatches in the floor opened, and about a dozen robots charged towards Morgan.
First move, Morgan leapt backwards as one of the robots swung at him, and then sent it flying against the wall with a forcefield burst. Two more robots advanced on Morgan, closing in from either side. The flash of a blade was seen, and one of the robots was missing it's arm. The other one swung at Morgan, but missed, and was sent to the ground by a quick swipe at it's legs. It soon found itself impaled through the chest by Morgan's blade.
Three more of the artificial assailants charged towards him. He tossed his blade straight up, and a flurry of small knives (kunai) flew towards the robots, blinding two of them. Morgan caught his sword, and quickly capitalized on the disabling of the robots by sepearting them from their limbs. The third robot managed to get the drop on Morgan, backhanding him, and sending him backwards a few feet.
Staggering to his feet, he ran towards it, but ducked under it's arms, bringing his sword through it's midsection. Then, the difficulty went up a few notches. The six remaining robots attacked Morgan as a team, surrounding him.
He held his sword in front of him as the robots encircled him. "Time to finish this," he said. He charged towards one of the robots, letting the others close in behind him. With a display of agility borne of years or training, he grabbed the robot by the head, and froghopped it, landing behind it, and plunging his sword backwards through it's torso. The other robots charge at him, and he responded by cleaving one of them in two through the midsection, and removing the limbs and/or heads of the others. Not without taking his own lumps, but he still managed to come out on top.
Sweating heavily, he shut off the Danger Room program, and headed for the showers.

"Hello dad," Pietro said, smiling as he noticed the modifications that had been made to the place. It had been over a year since he'd last set his eyes on his father's base... or even his father, for that matter. Or at least it felt that long, though it didn't really seem to trouble him that much. Magneto always had a plan for his son, and even though that didn't necessarily translate into them spending much time face-to-face, Magneto still seemed to show his own form of fatherly love by at the very least trusting his son with so many of their pans.
"Wanda ran off again, I doubt even Xavier could find her if she doesn't wanna be found... though, you probably already knew she was gone, didn't you?"

"Believe me, son, I was well aware of Wanda's departure. Why else would I have sent for direct transport for you? You may have warmed her up, son, but not even your powers of persuation could have possibly calmed her bloodlust for me quite yet. And while I'd be lying if I professed no frustration in her leaving, this does allow me to do something that has been criminally neglected for some time now..."
"Gate," he stated simply.
A blue plane of energy suddenly appeared beside Magneto, and swept to the side slowly. Out of it poped a very confused Sasha, reunited with the rest of the Brotherhood. "As you can see, Quicksilver and young brother Pyro, there have been some technological modifications made thanks to a friend of ours. These gates allow us to open a teleportation portal that will open anywhere on the site to which you have access. Similar to one of Xavier's lot, but far more elegant. Once our plans are fully in motion, we plan to increase the range..."
As Magneto spoke, it was evident that even he was marvelled at what he was creating. Within the modern exterior of the main facility was a surprisingly elegant meeting area. For the Brotherhood, it would have been a mix of Xavier's mansion, a shopping mall, and strangely enough, a zoo. Most of the walls enclosed one species or another of animals from around the planet. Magneto loved animals... it had been years since he'd tasted meat. As such, he surrounded himself with the animals he loved. There was even an unoccupied space that was saved for later. "Homo Sapien" read across the plaque beside it.
"Unfortunately, progress is fleeting within one man's lifespan, and meaningless without successors. And that, of course, is why I've brought you here, young brothers and sisters," he said. His voice was commanding, though at the moment, quite warm. Even Pietro would have been surprised at how Magneto was acting.
"The world out there... is confused, to say the least," he began. "Since the beginning of the spark of life on this planet, this world has sought to create something better. The natural evolution of the species has continues for untold millenia, all for a single purpose of one day creating a perfect species to rule her as she is deserved.
And yet... that foolish race disease known as humanity honestly believes that they are that perfect race. Honestly, it would be laughable if not so sad. Even the most ill-informed observer must be able to see it. The endless wars, famines, destruction and hatred all over such intangible concepts as 'freedom' or even 'God'. All the while they are poisoning this Earth that gave birth to them. The land is scorched, trees burned to the ground, oceans and rivers polluted, the air befouled, the ecosystems destroyed... it is sickening.
But imagine how it must feel to the 'powerful' humans, the ones in charge of it all, for them to learn that they are not this planet's grandest creation, and that they have spend the past million years trashing the land that was meant for their betters? Their reactions are not unexpected. They've hunted us, made us outcasts, 'freaks', and pushed us to the side hoping we'd just die out. But you should know this... it is not out of malice for which they act, but fear. Fear that they are a doomed race, fear that extinction may be mere generations away, fear that maybe, just MAYBE, there are those who could run the world better than they ever could...
Did I mention that this entire facility runs off a form of electromagnetic induction syphoning? Entirely pollution-free, it's quite fascinating...
But, as is often the case, my pride in my work is serving as a distraction. I apologize, dear children, for now there is something else I must address...
The world has made most of you feel like you dont belong. Your families have deserted you, your friends condemned you, your society made you to feel as though you have been born with a curse. But that is not the case. Your powers are gifts, to be embraced, to be harnassed, to be controlled. Your powers are as natural to you as walking, and it has been far too long that you have been forced to hide them. You were not born with a curse, and you did not band together because there was nowhere else for you to go. From now on... you have a true home, a true family, and soon, you will learn a true purpose...
Whether you have felt abandoned," he stated as he looked to Sasha.
"Scared," he stated as he looked to Victoria.
"Cursed," he stated as he looked to Courtney.
"Lost," he stated as he looked to Markus.
"Or simply... restless," he concluded with a knowing smirk to Pietro, Noko, Pyro, Lance, Blob, and Toad.
"You will find your home here. Look around, and you will see your brothers, your sisters... this is the day you learn the reason why you were all born."

Teagan sat awake in her bed, her headphones hanging around her neck as music flowed freely from them to her ears. She was sure to keep it low, not sure if Gen was sleeping or not. She layed down, turning onto her side and closing her eyes. She let out a soft sigh, thinking about what had happened on the X-Jet. She had accepted Jamie's apology and brushed the whole thing off, but she still felt a little odd, as if she thought as though he was right.
Oy! Just forget it, and get some sleep. Being told your power is gross is not the worst thing that has happened, and there'll probably be worse things to come! She told herself, flopping onto her back, yawning slightly as she looked up at the ceiling.

Sasha rolled her eyes. What in the world is this geezer rambling about again, she thought. She remebered when he found her by the dump and offered her a different life then. But coming to the brotherhood wasn't much of an improvement. To her, there was no family. The only family she had was her dead mother, her aunt, and cousin. She never did felt that much welcomed at the brotherhood so why should she now.

Magneto simply smiled, noticing that his words were having a myriad of effects upon his new disciples. Of course, the most loyal were the ones he already new... the newer, younger ones would take far more convincing than a simple speach, and he was well-prepared for that.
"Of course, the new world will hardly be totalitarian... please, if you have any thoughts, any reservations, even fully spiteful ones, air them out now, and we will earn from each other," he stated, still sounding far warmer than Pietro had ever heard him before.

Hours had passed since Jacen had been brutalized by Senyaka, but time did nothing to ebb the pain away. Again, he coughed harshly. There was something draining his life away. He knew it. It was becoming harder for him to even move his arms, not a good sign for his survival. He sat there in the darkness, trying to hang on to what sliver of life he had when he heard a couple of voices from outside his cell.
"I was told by Exodus that you two are to help prepare the main chambers for the execution," Neophyte said. Jacen knew it was the young one. He became familiar with him when Neophyte was a young child. And he was still young. Maybe a year or two younger than Scion, yet still ready and willing to die for Magneto's cause.
The guards accepted their orders and quickly headed down the stone corridor. Then, surprisingly, Jacen saw the door open, and Neophyte enter the cell.
"Scion?"
"What is it?," Jacen asked weakly.
"I was wanting to check your wounds," Neophyte said as he looked at the opened burn mark on Scion's chest. "That looks bad.....if it doesn't get treated soon, it will become infected."
"And that's a concern, why?," Jacen asked harshly, "I'm slated to die tomorrow."
"Actually.......they plan on killing you tonight."
Jacen shook his head and chuckled to himself. "I must....must have really pissed someone off if they're bumping up my execution time."
"Well....with your betrayal."
"MY betrayal!?," Jacen responded with no amount of civility in his voice. "They must not know that it was the Brotherhood who betrayed me when I was in need of their assistance the most!"
"You....are...joking....right?"
"Nope...not joking, kid," Jacen said as he sat up a bit against the wall. "They left me hanging out on the line.....I did what any sane person would do when their supposed friends hanges them out to dry....I walked away."
".......I knew there was something wrong with this situation.....," Neophyte said as he stood up and walked to the door. As soon as he reached the opened door, he heard voices. "Great.....," the younger mutant said as he closed the door, From there, he waited until he heard the door creak open. Almost as quickly as the first sliver of light appeared, Neophyte had shifted himself through the solid wall separating the corridor and the prison cell.
"It's your lucky day, Scion," Skids said as she stood behind the Kleinstock brothers, who were unshackling him. "Nope...no last minute pardons.....what we have here is a legitimate dead man walking." Jacen fell to the floor...he was physically and mentally exhausted.
"Pick him up if you must, but the final preparations are finishing up.....and I think we're all eager to see this wretched dog pay." Skids laughed a bit as she waited for the Kleinstocks to start carrying their prisoner. The time for a public execution was now.

“Okay,” Corky spoke up, dropping all earlier hesitation. He asked for questions, she was going to give them. “What’s in it for you?” If this man was Ritalin’s father, she betted the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. “And what makes you think we all want our powers? And not everyone human thinks mutants are terrible. Most do…” She thought of her family. They thought of it as a curse as much as Corky did. It was something that tainted their perfect family picture, which she assumed was why she hated her gift so much. It ruined her reputation and made her really stand out. As much as she hated to admit it, she knew she wanted to fit in more than she claimed to want to be infamous. But now wasn’t the time to think of that. Never show your weakness. “…But not all, obviously.” She added quickly.
Courtney didn’t know if any of what she said made sense. It was very confusing, but what he said sounded simple and logical. She was still sketchy about the situation though, because Courtney hated to be taken as a fool and a child. She wanted to be the one doing the manipulation, not anyone else. She looked at the others. Pietro and the old-school Brotherhood seemed right at home, but Sasha looked bored and as if she had heard it all before. She seemed so jaded and experienced all of sudden to Courtney. Maybe she was wrong about her.
