Isn't he a new demon?
I couldn't watch the second season if they weren't dishing out completely new characters.
As far as I'm concerned, either do the series with both Sebastian and Ciel, or make new characters and let Sebastian and Ciel cameo a few times. Which I think they will.
I think I may grow to like Mr. Glasses and Jailbait.
Maybe.
It had better be good.
Else I will be angry.
I like Jailbait's character design.
I'm glad he's blonde.
I also like his strange little name.
Because it makes me feel sorry for him.
Maybe instead of the dark, traumatic past that Ciel had, this new kid will just be angry about his horrible name, which has inspired him to seek revenge.
Now, did Kuroshitsuji's original mangaka have any say in this new storyline?
Did she write it?

The new season will have a lot more focus on Sebastian's past and there's a guaranteed flashback of him looking at a hat similar to Ciel's "while looking sad". It seems pretty apparent that Claude Faustus is the name Sebastian's new master gave to him.
While it would be interesting to learn more about Sebastian, knowing his whole story would kind of ruin the dark, mysterious "Black Butler" appeal of him, y'know?
At least both the character designs were done by the mangaka. As for everything/one else, there's no word.
I'm curious how far into the future it's set, considering the first season ended at the turn of the century into the 1900s. I'm trying to find out where Claude Sebastian's new wardrobe is from.

Found it. This guy, Alonzo Fields, was a White House butler from 1940 until 1960.
If you look closely, you can see he has a white version of the bow-tie-doo-dah that SEBASTIAN has.

I have a crack theory.
I believe wholeheartedly that the butler is not Sebastian.
And I also believe that it will still be set in Victorian times regardless.
But I really, really think that isn't Sebastian.
I think it's a totally random guy.
I think Sebastian is in the series, but that's not him.
And I think Ciel is a demon.
Those are my crack theories.
