My brother just got a PS3 and it won't play PS2 games. Is that a problem with all PS3s or just some?

Just some, but regardless, there is a mod or an adapter that can remedy that. just ask around or go straight to the Sony website and ask them and they should be able to tell you the name and the location of the adapter so you can play PS2 games on a PS3

You cannot play any ps2 games on newer ps3s. Older ones emulated ps2 hardware via software so they could play some, and the original ones could play all of them because they had a hardware piece in them to make it work.
So no, you can't, sorry sad

The Only PS3 that can play PS2 Games are the 20 and 40 gigs and all the other PS3 got it token out since Sony figure that people would still have a PS2 by the time they had gotten a PS3

Well... that sucks. My brother was so excited, too. It's kind of troublesome to have to switch cables for whichever PS you want to play. Well anyway, we have to save up now for PS3 games. xD The only one we want to play right now is FFXIII. Any other games you guys recommend?

Street Fighter 4 or Super Street Fighter 4
Soul Calibur 4 (For online since you can beat everyone story fast)
Others:
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 and 2
Bayonetta (Careful to any guys razz )
Call of Duty (any of them)
Uncharted 2
God of War 3
Killzone 2

There a lot I can recommand but I'm looking forward to all the new games comeing out and Sony has annouce at E3 2010 that on Febuary 2011 Killzone 3 Comes out for PS3 and is in 3D and compadible with Playstation Move biggrin

Everyone can just skip this post, I need to rant.
I'm kind of pissed at the Koreans for changing one of my favorite shows.
Star Golden Bell is the show I watched. They had Korean celebrities as guests where they could promote their work and stuff, then they did fun quiz games. Last week, one of the MCs, and one of the guys I really liked, said that that was his last show. I was like "aww ;_;" and hoped he was kidding. If it was true, then two of my favorite guys were gone from the show, since one had been missing for quite a few shows.
Well then this week with the new episode... I don't even know. It's completely changed. Instead of about 20 celebrity guests, there's like.. 10. Although, the one guy I like came back but the MC was indeed gone and so was the other guy. Totally WTF. I know I should try to accept change but... ugh. There were few funny parts and the 'games' dragged on and were boring.

That would piss me off too.
Thats why I don't watch soap operas. They change the actors out a lot and I'd be like wtf you bastards this person is a shitty actor where's so and so they were way better.
(I'm always sick a lot so when I didn't have a tv in my room and i stayed home sick, I had nothing else to do but watch tv with my mom who is obsessed with General Hospital. I get hooked off and on from it... >.> On a side note Cloud from ff7's english voice actor is on that show. )

Well imagine if the soap took off a bunch of characters or replaced them, put them in a new location and changed the entire story.
