”The light filtered through the bedroom window hitting the eyelids of a small sleeping child. Causing them to stir a wake slowly fluttering eyelashes against pale rosy cheeks. With a great yawn for one so small and rolling over and sitting up looking around at the strange but warm room. Reaching up the young girl began to rub her eyes as it dawned at her, they had arrived late last night at the sky resort for the photo shoot today. A huge smile lighting up her amber-brown eyes as she jumped out of the bed and quickly padded across the thick forest green shag carpet to the window and looking out with a gasp of awe at the sight before her eyes. There was a magical sight of snow swept across a large mountain side in rolling waves. The clear blue sky shone with the early morning winter sun casting a radiant golden glow all over, it as if it was a magical fairy land.

• Without a second thought she ran over to her little pink suitcase embossed with her initials and threw it open and began to toss clothing over the room in search of a warm sweater and pants. Finding Them she put them on quickly and flicking her short black hair over her shoulder she ran from the room down the stairs to where her parents were eating breakfast. AT the sound of her feet her mother look sideways with a tight smile of mild amusement at her daughters energy, while a tall dark haired man with warm chocolate eyes stood and grabbed the eager little girl up with a mocking look of sternness and carried her to the table. ”You need to eat first young lady, before you go outside and play.” he said as she looked pleadingly at her mother who nodded her agreement and spoke in a soft cultured voice. ”Besides you don’t want to be napping while watching our photo shoot does you Anna?” Her voice held an edge of annoyance in it, causing Anna to look up with shame on her small face, a spoon full of warm raisin and cinnamon oatmeal half way to it. Nodding her understand to the question she ate silently, while watching the mother she adored and wanted to be like. The perfect lady!.

• A few hours later the boredom getting to her, Anna got up out of the chair in the cabins living area and walked over to the window and glanced out longingly. With a quick peek up at the clock she saw that there would be about 3 hours before the shoot, and her little mind worked quickly. Dashing up the stairs to the room, which had been put to rights by the cleaning lady a few hours earlier, grabbed her warm jacket and boots and snuck down stairs. Not hearing anything made her smile as she went to the back door in the kitchen and slipped into the boots , and out the door. She figured just a quick look around wouldn’t tire her out so much that she’d sleep through her mom and dad doing the professional shoot, for a promotional add for the Swiss Alps sky resort. Jumping down the steps of the back stoop she made her way across the open area to the woods that were back there. Eyes wide and amazed at how different the blue spruce and nut pines were from the traditional cherry trees and willows that populated her homeland of Japan.

• Dashing left and right, dodging around the trees laughing Anna was having a blast, and tried her best to keep the cabin in sight. It was after about forty-five minutes that something strange began to happen. The sky clouded over darkly and the wind picked up, causing snow to fall at a fast pace in large flakes. Scared a bit, Anna turned to make her way back to the cabin when a small sharp cry was heard. Turning back around she did her best to follow it with the wind whipping around her small 5 year old frame. Eventually she came upon a small rabbit with brown ear tips and a bit of brown around its nose curled up under a tree. It was shivering violently from the cold and looked possibly hurt. Always one to love animals she picked it up, causing it to struggle and she made soothing comforting sounds, like her dad did when she freaked out during thunder and lightning storms. Running as fast as she could against the strange and sudden storm, Anna made it back into the cabin which while strangely was quite, was blissfully warm against her face. Not hearing her parents any where she quickly made her way to the fridge grabbing various small fruits and then upstairs to her room. There she put the struggling and exhausted rabbit on her bed. ”Don’t worry I won’t hurt you mister usagi san…. I want to help you.. please calm down and get warm… shhh shsh…” she whispered as she began to place small berries and an apple before the rabbit who watched with strangely intelligent eyes.

• After a few minutes it began to nibble at the apple with a somewhat happy look in those odd eyes. Watching it with such rapt attention Anna, suddenly got up startling the poor creature and dashed to the little pink suit case. Rummaging in the front pocket she pulled out a small key chain with a little bunny that was black and white on it. Coming back to the bed she climbed up and sat cross legged against on the bed from it and watched it eat some more. Holding up the key chain, it spun on the end of the chain causing the rabbit to look at it and turn its head as if examining it closely. ”This is my most prized possession Mister Usagi, it was a gift. It is a rabbit like you.. well shaped like a rabbit.. Now just what were you doing out there? And how did you get out there? I didn’t know that there was living wild animals on the mountain.. You poor thing are you hurt, can I look and see? I promise I won’t do anything to hurt you.” She said as she reached out to the rabbit, who as if it understood jumped away to the floor. But before her eyes, it changed slowly into a tall man with brown hair, and intelligent eyes that seemed a bit distant…..carrying a cane topped with a pretty red stone. ”No thank you! I am quite fine, and you don’t need to know anything. It is your misfortune you came across me and have now interacted with me. This means things will change for you little girl. I will have to take something important and precious from you. Because I cannot stay here much longer, it isn’t safe.” The rabbit man said to Anna.

• Not quite understand, but getting the clue that the rabbit man was in a bit of trouble Anna jumped up off the bed and walked over to him. ”I want to help you, it is only natural isn’t it to help someone who is in trouble? And if you have to take something from me that is fine mister Usagi, then go ahead, if it will help you at all. As long as I can make you happy.” She said with a smile on her face. This made the rabbit man now look sadly at the young lady standing by him. It was an odd sad look, as he raised his cane, waving the red stone before Anna’s eyes. Suddenly feeling sleepy, she began to sway on her feet. Her eye lids feeling heavy as she slumped towards the floor. The rabbit man caught her before she hit the green fuzzy floor and placed her in her bed. Turning to leave he stopped and looked back at the young girl. Her face was peaceful, so open, trusting and loving to all around her. Reaching out he took the little black and white rabbit on the chain, and pocketed it before walking to the window and opening it. The price she would pay would affect her for the rest of her life, and change her. But somehow he knew that she would be able to deal with it. If one day, something could happen to change it back to the way she was now as he jumped out into the blowing wind, which swept him up into the snow flurry as he vanished.

• A few hours later Anna woke up to her mother shaking her vigorously with a soft mumble at her. Opening her eyes, fear and worry clearly in them making her mom curious. ”Anna dear what is wrong? Did you have a bad dream?” She asked as she sat down next to her daughter. Anna began to explain about what had happened, only to have her mom tell her there was no rabbit or food in the room. That she had been asleep and her father had brought her up from the living area. And then her mom walked over to the book shelf and pulled out a book handing it to her. It was titled ’Alice in Wonderland’ Then taking up Anna in her arms she told her that they were going to be late for the shoot and carried her down stairs. Were the director of the shoot saw Anna and was amazed at the child’s looks and innocence. Began to ask her parents if they wouldn’t mind for some of the pictures have her be a part of them. It had been a fun day, and from there her career took off, but things with her mother had changed dramatically. She became distant and cut off Anna, who could now never seem to please her. As well as keeping her father away from Anna so he couldn’t dote on her any more. Anna became more and more distant, forgetting who she was only immersing herself in her roles she played and not as a human being. Her job was her life now. “( Anna is dreaming this)

• Reino and Azazell rubbed vigorously at her limbs to get circulation to flow through the limbs once more. ”It isn’t what you are all thinking. That isn’t blood, it is doofus’ down there sugar and water with red die.. it makes good fake blood, but no she should wake up soon…but again I am sorry for barging in.. Izzy crying don’t suit you, a mischievous smile is what belongs on those lips of yours.” Reino said as he transferred arms nodding his head in thanks when more logs were put on. Soon Anna’s arms were a bright rosy pink and he laid them over her chest to hide her pale pink undergarments that were showing through now. Azazell still working on her legs, had started up her left one while smiling like an idiot at Izzy, Josh and Ly. Happy to see that the tears had stopped, when there was a small sigh from Anna. Reino noticed that there was something in her left hand clutched tightly, but didn’t’ want to try and take it from her, but he was really wondering what it was, because she’d been clutching it this whole time. Ever since he saved her from the castle’s ledge were she was precariously hanging.


• There was a sharp tingling in her limbs, as the numbness began to fade away. Fluttering her eyes open she looked down her legs to see Azazell rubbing a towel rather high up on her thigh. Face going scarlet as he looked away at something she jerked her leg in pure instinct and kicked him hard in the face with great accuracy. Head jerking to the side with the sudden force he looked at Anna just as she kicked a second and third time, all catching him in the face. Jumping back as the black armor on his body began to glow faintly purple he clutched his broken and now bloodied nose. ”You Neurotic c**t…. What the hell do you think your doing? I am trying to help you get feeling back in your limbs. I should of let you fall or just given you back to the king. Gods only know you and your friggin’ mouth have him in a righteous rage and he wants you dead right now.” he screamed around his hand holding his nose. Glaring at Anna who sat herself up turning shades redder as she glared back. ”Oh really, then why the hell were you rubbing all the way up my thigh you thick headed perverted jerk. THAT really has the purest of intentions in min….” she shot back at him and turned her head to look away too see everyone else in the room.

• All the red drained away from her face as she looked from one person to another in the room. Starting with Reino, to Izzy, Josh, Ly, to hoot and Zack and then to Azazell which she jerked her head proudly from and glanced down at her lap. A small gasp of horror on her face at the red, but even worse the pink of her bra and panties showing through the thin white material wet from the snow and now drying. Noticing only a few seconds later someone handing her a Kimono type of robe and slipped it on, she nodded her thanks but still, feeling suddenly Ill at her appearance she pulled her legs under her into the Seiza sitting style and placed her hands on the floor, followed by her head resting gently on the splayed fingers. ”I am sorry about my manners. I wish to be forgiven for my actions and my current appearance. But ummmm… may I ask who are you all? And were am I at? What’s going on? The last thing I remember was it snowing and I started to si…..” She said being cut off by Azazell who threw at piece of wadded up paper at her. Still in her bowing posture she glared through her hair at him making him jump up muttering under his breath. ”Not worth the trouble she isn’t.. .should of left her to his majesty…Stupid prideful arrogant child.” Which was more words then he normally strung together in any given situation.

• All the while Reino watched with a bit of detached amusement, before sticking his hand into a nearby chair’s shadow and pulled his book bag and magazine through and flipped through it. He was silently laughing at Azazell’s face and how puffy it would look in a few hours. Finding the page of the four year old magazine he wanted her began to read aloud.

• Today we interview an up and rising young Actress, One Anna Mellison. Who is only 15, soon to be 16. And playing the leading part in the new Holly wood movie, ‘Mary, the Bloody Queen of England.’ And hope to gain some insightful answers about who she is, and why she chose acting as her life career.

• ”Anna will you please tell us why you choose to become an actress from the young age of 5?”

• ”Ummm sure! It was something my grandfather and grandmother did. They were the biggest Japanese actor and actress in their time and still are. Leading lady and leading male, and it always seemed so interesting to be able to be someone else.”

• ”That is a unique answer, and informative. So you worship and respect them then. So when you got the call to play the part of Mary, what was your reaction? And were you glad to be randomly chosen without auditioning for it?”

• ”Yes I was a bit shocked when I got the call and my manager translated what was being asked of me. But at the same time it was a great honor. I hadn’t done many roles like this, and learning English wouldn’t do me any harm. Our family does entertain many people. I am sure you know I speak quite a few languages other than Japanese.”

• ”You seem to be a very compromising young lady. Now for some personal questions. Do you have a boyfriend or someone you like Ms. Mellison?”

• ”Not right at the moment, I am only 15 right now. With a life ahead of me still. I want to go as far as my acting will take me first, before I settle down with anyone in particular. I am enjoying myself right now to the fullest that I can right now.”

• ”OH! So do you have a particular type of person you like? If not any distinctive traits you’d look for in a possible boyfriend or mate?”

• ”I haven’t really thought about that. But as for traits, I guess he would have to be funny, a bit random and quirky. Able to have a good time anywhere so to speak. And be slightly Dumb. *smilesI*”

• ”Well that is a bit specific, but I don’t think you’ll ever find a guy who fits all those qualifications in this life time Anna. Thank you for your time, and I hope to interview you once more Ms. Mellison.”

• After finishing it up, Reino looked at the bowing Anna, and noticed exactly how much her body had become stiff. A small smile crossed his lips, as he stood up and walked over to her and dropped the magazine in front of her, showing a picture of her much younger with a cold smile on her face and hollow vacant eyes. ” From your reaction, I guessed right. You were getting quite famous in our world before I came here. And I am glad to finally meet you, your voice gave you away, as well as those oddly distinctive eyes. Now let’s introduce ourselves again. I am Rei, that idiot you kicked is Aza as you already know…” He said stepping back to let all of them see her, as she sat up with a slowness that spoke of her being uneasy. ”I am Anna, Anna Mellison. I am 19 and a professional actress. Nice to meet you.. And Rei, how could you be from my world, when you look like that?” She said her eyes showing confusion and panic. While all this was going on Azazell slipped out through a shadow and appeared right next to the king eyes narrowed dangerously, while still holding his broken nose glad that the blood was tapering off. "If you still want the girl, I will bring her to you right now. I am sure you've already been informed your majesty. I am not sorry for it, because rarely does Reino ask anything of any one. He took a keen interest in her and I let him have his way. But if you must do anything to her, please be it from the shoulders down. You have a rare treat with the throat and up... when she sings... it's utterly magical. You know how too contact me when you want me to bring her too you, I am YOURS and YOURS alone My king." Azazell said bowing briefly before fading back too the room amused at Anna's current mood and reaction to something.
