Well generally when I color hair, there's no outlines- I draw the outlines for reference sake, but then when coloring I color over them- coloring one solid color- then using the layer in 'multiply' mode rather than normal so I can see the outlines, and doing the shading, and finally the highlights- it's a slow process, but it works....
As for the rest of the picture... i just locked transparent pixels and then colored the outlines so they'd look more natural. Easy stuffs. ^^;
It'll be easy to recolor too XD

I'm, like, totally jelly, Wrath. The only thong I've colored well, in my eyes, is the Piko Can't Even Dream pic and though I got the usual nice feedback I got a legit response about it being an anatomical mess. ^.^;
It's not on purpose, Bel-Bel! I'm easily captivated by Wrath-sensei! crying

Hey, it took me a lot to make that post I got up. Besides, not only that but my rp juices have been low lately. I was surprised I managed that post, especially since I was also making his new layout. No guarantees that I will reply sometime today. But sometime this week for sure -Steals whiteness-

^^; I'm flattered that you think I'm so uber awesome, but you shouldn't put yourself down so much- everyone has to start somewhere in art and work their way up. So your art isn't perfect, neither is mine- I beat myself a lot about my art too, wishing I could get better and be as good as so and so- but in the end I know that there are a lot of people out there who aren't as skilled as me, and likewise there are a lot of people out there who aren't as skilled as you.
Which came out more selfish sounding than I meant... But be more confident! That's the point! Strive to improve instead of putting yourself down!

I already know for me, I started with eyes. I don't know why, but I can draw eyes very well, as long as they are the evil-ish look. But I just don't draw anymore, because I just can't get the hang of it. -Steals yellow star sun things-

Well, it depends on whether you like doing it or not- if you do you work hard to get the hang of it... If you don't really, then it's not worth it.
In my case, everyone says that I'm talented... But I'm really not, talent is getting to where I am in a matter of a year or so, perserverance is drawing and stubbornly practicing for at least ten years and only being as good as I am.
